Couldn't find a compass thread, thought I might start one up. FYI I affiliate myself with the Free Democratic Party (Germany).

TEST 2: http://www.gotoquiz.com/politics/political-spectrum-quiz.html
OP here. Looks like we both think relatively similarly! Was not expecting that on /pol/...
most of the people on tumblr are libertarian socialism
which means they dont want the government to tell them what to do but they want the government to make everyone equal in terms of pay and rights
Anyone want to explain libertarian capitalism to me?
> Libertarian socialists generally place their hopes in decentralized means of direct democracy such as libertarian municipalism, citizens' assemblies, trade unions, and workers' councils.
So basically they want everything to be a union and they want private property to be non-existent
Less than the Republicans in America.
I have an interest in politics and current events plus I appreciate the candor most people have here. Better than SJW screaming at me, anyway.
This nigger doesn't know Libertarianism started out as a leftist term. Libertarianism on the Right is just 19th Century Liberalism.
Equal pay is a ridiculous concept, rights sure. What's needed would be a negative income tax. Everyone has the basic needs met and lets people do what they want without having to worry about starvation, homelessness or illness. Or at least in my opinion. People who want everyone to have the same pay are retarded.
There's nothing to explain
Libertarianism is about the peace negotiation without the use of force. Libertarian capitalist see non coercive trade as the most efficient mode for this goal.
However, they are not as socially liberal as anarcho-capitalism or pure libertarianism, they are still in favor of moral laws and social norms
will post compass and social attitude test in a sec I guess
>confidence : 4
>spontaneity : 0
>conservative christian protestant
Worse than a leftist.
not >>32021902 but similar, here's mine and for me it's the opposing beliefs cancel each other out, I don't know what to believe any more.
I don't really deal with absolutes/my beliefs are mostly moderate is kinda the best way to describe it.
> on the authoritarian/libertarian scale my beliefs are we do need some sort of structure in order for the nation to function but too much is a threat to personal freedoms and too little will make our nation weak.
> on the left/right scale I consider myself a moderate, I am a futurist so I support evidence based policy, I don't completely support the left or the right (though I do seem to lean a bit more to the right) I kinda just support what seems to be the more logical choice from both sides of the aisle
Added the top 10 ideologies and ethical philosophy results.
Jean-Paul Sartre. Anyone want to point me at must read stuff from him?
>Wants almost no government at all
>But still wants them to redistribute wealth and have total economic control.
Sartre is a massive french existentialist twat. Generally known as a plagiarist and contradictory to his own work.
you can get a rape charge over fucking nothing.
Those people are just nutjobs. Libertarian socialism means that the state should intervene to a minimum extent with the market and the personal lives of the people, but they should be there to promote and enforce the basic rights the people of that nationality have built over the years.
So how are you meant to answer this? In terms of your 'perfect society' or in terms of that which you believe to reasonably possible to be properly implemented?
For the first I get http://www.politicaltest.net/test/result/506510/ and for the second http://www.politicaltest.net/test/result/506512/.
