Someone give me clear, rational arguments why all three of the aggregate polls above are wrong and why Trump does in fact have a shot of winning the white house. Someone explain to me why I should pay attention to the polls showing that Trump is in the lead for the GOP primary, but ignore the polls that show him losing the general to a criminal, a communist, and a pedophile.
oh look it's that carson shill
I'll give you five reasons off the top of my head
he's been the frontrunner since he entered the used the word wall in a sentence
he has perpetual media coverage
he has a 4 billion dollar campaign budget
he has more executive experience in one fingernail than all the candidates from both parties combined
he doesn't constantly speak with his eyes closed
>he has a $4 billion dollar campaign budget
Yeah, because he's definitely going for broke on becoming President.
Let's just hope he doesn't get elected because he won't have any money left for his reelection.
Only points 1 and 2 are valid. Point 3 is incorrect, and point 4 didn't help Herman Cain in 2012...
Point 5 is also incorrect. He's got the chinkiest eyes of all the candidates
>step one: squint your eyes
>step two: purse your lips
>he's been the frontrunner since he entered the used the word wall in a sentence
Frontrunner of the Republicans. What does that matter if the actual data shows that even if he wins the nomination he'll lose the general anyway?
>he has perpetual media coverage
Implying Hillary doesn't
>he has a 4 billion dollar campaign budget
That's his entire net worth. Literally the only source saying he's worth $10 billion is his own mouth, and do you really think he won't talk up how much money he has? Either way, that's irrelevant, because there are a whole lot of other billionaires who would spend just as much to ensure Hillary gets to the White House. How much more is George Soros worth than Trump? Oh.
>he has more executive experience in one fingernail than all the candidates from both parties combined
Implying someone who's literally never spent a minute in a government position has more experience than Hillary Clinton, Biden, or Sanders.
>he doesn't constantly speak with his eyes closed
I don't think even you know what you're trying to say at this point.
Trump supporters, everybody.
You guys are just proving my point even more. Seriously, if that's the best argument that Trumpfags can come up with, then I look forward to Madame President just to see the butthurt here.
That's Trump's role in this. Carson will likely be the actual presidential candidate, Trump is pumping up the Republican voter base to actually go vote especially since they're voting against a self professed socialist or Hillary. Could be tougher if they fight Biden
You have no idea whatsoever how he'll do in the general considering the primaries haven't even started yet. If we go back to June you'd be making the exact same thread only talking about how he'll never break 25%. Now that the nomination is all but guaranteed you moved on to the general. Let's focus on one thing at a time.
There will be no other possibility for the Republican nominee that would do as well as Trump at this point.
Don't worry. Trump hasn't even begun to battle the left yet. There's nobody who withstand his power. What you are seeing is blue pilled American sheeple who haven't seen Trump pitted against the pap they've been eating. Right now, a 'Trump' sign/hat means you're one of those 'extreme racist republicans who supports Trump.' When he's the nominee, it will just mean 'You're a Republican'. Everyone will be able to express themselves without fear.
The guy is basically a Nazi (the Jew-peddled "MUH HOLOCAUST!" version of Nazi, not the real, good version of Nazi) and he's the forerunner and has been since he came in. I mean, if that isn't indication he is going to win in this SJW / cuck environment the West is now muddled in, I don't know what is.
1. He has a bigger campaign budget than Obama did in 2012.
2. He motivates the Republican base like nobody since Reagan.
3. He hasn't even begun to campaign yet, he's spent less than any other candidate yet he's still leading the polls by a wide margin. Talk to me again when he starts buying ad time.
4. Republicans have the edge in this election, legacy candidates are much less likely to win election than opposition candidates, especially if the current presidency is unpopular, which this one is.
5. General election polls are completely useless this far out.
Man what rock have you been living under? Yeb lost the lead the moment Trump declared his candidacy and told the mexicans to fuck off. Since then he's been losing more and more ground every time he attacks Trump. Trump has no real competition, especially since Carson is working with him.
Ah, this article explains Trumps popularity. I noticed the same information is being repeated all over the news, but this sums it up.
In a nutshell:
"Both national and state polls show Trump opening a substantial lead among Republican voters without a college education almost everywhere."
It also explains the Trump supporters I've encountered here on /pol/.
I don't keep up with American politics. It appears that Trump is trying to make people hate and fear Mexicans by blaming for all our problems and selling his hate as hope for the poorest people in the USA. He's barley any different from Hitler. No wonder /pol/ love him so much.
>We are socialists, we are enemies of today’s capitalistic economic system for the exploitation of the economically weak, with its unfair salaries, with its unseemly evaluation of a human being according to wealth and property instead of responsibility and performance, and we are determined to destroy this system under all conditions.
He's the only one of the whole lot, rep or dem, who has a catchy slogan to offer.
The election is already over, you lot can skip the next millions of dollars for campaigning and public debates...
Because the conservative grassroots are a bunch of retards who will hand the White House to Clinton as long as they can shit on the evil establishment's lawn first. I wish they would all go off and form their own party instead of fucking up mine.
>implying the establishment hasn't fucked themselves over
In the past quarter of a century the GOP has given us 2 failed Bush presidencies, 5 lost presidential elections, and the creation of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton as political powerhouses. And now they're trying to destroy the best chance they have at winning the White House.
It's a looong way to election day.
Trump hasnt even begun to tap into his resources for the battle ahead. He's been taking swipes at Republicans, I'd wait until he has real opposition.
There is a meaningful distinction to be made between nationalisation and collectivisation. Socialism has been used to describe both, however I believe that describing nationalisation as being inherently Socialist is pretty flawed. Also, Fascist economics are about adopting whatever economic policy will advance the interests of the Fascist war machine, whether that's nationalisation or privatisation.
North Korea is officially called the People's Democratic Republic of Korea. By your logic Korea is a democracy because it calls itself one.
This is the classic Fascist tactic of appropriating left wing rhetoric to try and gather popular sympathy for a hateful agenda.
He will win the union vote because he is anti immigration.
He will win the white vote because he is anti immigration and he wins the union vote.
He will win a significant portion of the black vote because he is anti immigration and he has a black VP (Carson)
He will win a significant portion of the Hispanic vote because he is Showbiz royalty and the is anti immigration.
This is going to be a walk over.
Don't really care about his projected matchup with the dems tbh, if Trump or Paul isn't the Republican candidate I'll be voting 3rd party like usual.
Trying to get me to care about shit like this is pointless since I just wont vote for most of the candidates because they don't represent what I want.
Basically I don't give a shit about this "us vs them" because both parties are shit.
> his party was literally called the National Socialist German Workers' Party
North Korea is officially called People's Democratic Republic of Korea. Does that mean the North Korea is a democracy. If you actually look at what Hitler did you will find that he wasn't very Socialist.
>He will win the white vote because he is anti immigration
lel. Most white people aren't racist cucks, grow up and learnt that the deep backwater south where you grew up and /pol/ aren't accurate representations of a whole race.
Anon I don't know if you know this but San Francisco is not representative of the white vote. The republican candidate always wins the white vote, and you're fucking retarded if you think illegal immigration isn't a big deal to white voters. I live in Iowa and Trumps anti immigrant stance is going to flip this state Red.
That's not what socialism means. Hitler called himself a socialist to steal ground from his enemies, the Social Democrats and Communists. Hitler was clearly a 'third position' politician, neither capitalist or socialist.
Looking at general election polls a year and a bit before the actual election is dumb! You're a weak idiot.
The Labour party over in England were leading by ten points at the same period! The Conservative party went on to win. You need an IQ test before you post here again.
>Hitler wasn't Socialist.
Hitler was, in fact, socialist. That was one promise he never managed to fulfill, because he was funded by capitalists and industrialists, and once they got him in power, they wouldn't allow him to implement it.
They were the power behind the throne, and they got away scot free. They always do.
Prescott Bush, Jeb and Dubya's grandaddy, was one of them.
Because they're infesting the state. Meat packing plants import them by the truckloads to work for them because white people don't want to work a minimum wage job with 12 hour shifts and horrible safety conditions to come home smelling like pig shit, Mexicans are more than happy to take those jobs and they'll do it for less than Minimum wage.
They want the job, they just don't want it for minimum wage. Mexicans have completely destroyed the Blue Collars ability to negotiate their wages. Plus the Mexicans bring massive amount of crime with them. My town used to be safe, now we have gang wars between the Mexicans and Asians.
>grow up and learnt that the deep backwater south where you grew up and /pol/ aren't accurate representations of a whole race
So much for American education. The flag above my post isn't the American flag.
BTW, the demographic replacement of your own people (AKA genocide) isn't something only Americans have to worry about. All white people seem to have that problem nowadays. Funny how that goes.
'Socialism is a social and economic system characterised by social ownership and control of the means of production' - Wikipedia
Hitler did nothing to socialise the means of production, therefore he was not a socialist. He deliberately used the word 'socialism' in another sense for political purposes.
Can anyone explain how sleepy nignog is so high? I haven't seen any of his rallies, policies ads, nothing. The only thing he's done recently is anger the kikes with his "guns would have prevented the Holohoax" remarks.
>>he has a 4 billion dollar campaign budget
>That's his entire net worth
And just a few months ago you fags were arguing that his net worth was only a few tens of millions, it's almost like you don't know what you're talking about
Most people don't remember this, but there was a period in 2008 where McCain had already won the GOP nom, but Dems were fighting it out between Hillary and Barack, and McCain was ahead in all the national polls then, despite there still being an overall expectation of Dem victory.
Why? Because all the GOP voters feel in line behind their candidate, whereas Hillary supporters weren't supporting Obama in Obama vs McCain polls, and vice versa in McCain vs Hillary polls.
Once the Dems picked a nominee the lead swung quickly.
It's the same this time. There's a lot more candidates on the GOP field. Once it gets down to the nominee, then these polls start to matter.
Are the Toronto subways any different?
No. We are a lost cause.
Let's make America great again, fuck these shills the political hierarchy that has been untouched for the last 40 years are beginning to quake in their loafers.
Our forefathers never intended for the politics of America to become so dominated by money and a selected few. Trump will bring back the American dream.
Jim Webb isn't running as a Dem no more.
Do you think he could be a running mate for Donald or Black stoner doctor?
Except of course Hillary is un-electable.
Very interesting, I didn't know a lot of this. I still wouldn't call it fully socialist though. It was still a third position.
Both of you are wrong.
>He was the third position between capitalism and Marxism.
You're the idiot. Socialism is between capitalism and communism. The Soviets developed their brand of it, and Hitler never really developed his National Socialism at all. From Wikipedia:
>The radical Nazi Joseph Goebbels hated capitalism, viewing it as having Jews at its core, and he stressed the need for the party to emphasise both a proletarian and national character. Those views were shared by Otto Strasser, who later left the Nazi Party in the belief that Hitler had betrayed the party's socialist goals by allegedly endorsing capitalism. Large segments of the Nazi Party staunchly supported its official socialist, revolutionary, and anti-capitalist positions and expected both a social and economic revolution upon the party gaining power in 1933.
>Marxism is socialism though. I don't know what you think socialism is.
You don't either.
Neither the Soviets nor the Nazis were true Marxists. Marx espoused Communism. No nation has ever implemented a pure form of his system. The Soviets were The Union of Soviet SOCIALIST Republics (emphasis mine) and the Nazis were the National SOCIALIST German Workers' Party.
Americans throw the terms "socialism" and "communism" around without having a clue about what they mean.
I think the time any president took a VP from the opposing party was Lincoln. I mean it's not impossible, this election is certainly going to be a weird one, but I wouldn't count on it.
>Marx espoused Communism
He argued that socialism was the bridge between capitalism and communism, communism being the final goal. He was clearly a socialist in that he wanted to replace capitalism with socialism. Saying that 'Marxism isn't socialism' is ridiculous.
He said it himself; he set aside $20 million for advertising money and has spent "peanuts"/"a fraction of it" because the media follows him to every state he goes. Free coverage.
>The religious side of the party really doesn't have anyone else in this race.
It's funny, that same Evangelical voting bloc sabotaged McCain's campaign in 2000 for having an adopted nigger daughter, now they want a literal BBC.
>You know nothing of socialism's history.
I didn't say anything about socialism's history. Look again. You just parroted me when you said, "Socialism is between capitalism and communism."
Communism, Socialism and Capitalism are economic systems. There are an infinite number of ways to implement them. None need be totalitarian. All can be democratic.
>(Marx) argued that socialism was the bridge between capitalism and communism.
You're thinking of Stalin.
Man, /pol/ has the mouthiest know-nothings I've ever encountered. It's not so much that you guys are ignorant. It's that you're so damn proud of it. Go read a book.
>Man, /pol/ has the mouthiest know-nothings I've ever encountered. It's not so much that you guys are ignorant. It's that you're so damn proud of it. Go read a book.
'According to Marxist analysis, class conflict within capitalism arises due to intensifying contradictions between highly productive mechanized and socialized production performed by the proletariat, and private ownership and appropriation of the surplus product in the form of surplus value (profit) by a small minority of private owners called the bourgeoisie. As the contradiction becomes apparent to the proletariat, social unrest between the two antagonistic classes intensifies, culminating in a social revolution. The eventual long-term outcome of this revolution would be the establishment of socialism – a socioeconomic system based on cooperative ownership of the means of production, distribution based on one's contribution, and production organized directly for use. Karl Marx hypothesized that, as the productive forces and technology continued to advance, socialism would eventually give way to a communist stage of social development. Communism would be a classless, stateless, humane society erected on common ownership and the principle of "From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs".'
From the Wikipedia article on Marxism, i.e. the ideology of Marx. This is pretty basic stuff.
Sanders would do even worse. Biden is probably the Democrat's best option. I know he hasn't come forward but he's been doing loads of cringy interviews about his personal tragedies, and I don't see why if not to win support for a run. Has anyone entered the race this late in the past?
what a stupid discussian you ameritards have here...
the links obove don't give any indication whatsoever. it is ALL in the MARGIN OF ERROR.
so take you thumbs out of your asses and use your time to talk about something substancial, like
Canada just withdrew her support for the US coalition in Iraq. Now that is news not this circlejerk here. pic related
Entering late into the race isn't common, but most of the other political rules of the land have gone out the window this time around, so it probably won't make a difference, especially since Biden is basically a candidate until he says he isn't, as far as the electorate is concerned.
Because Trump & Hilary are working together. See
Hey Rick, check out this video "Is Donald Trump a Hillary Plant?" on YouTube
The impression I got from Trump is that we are being taken advantage of through lazy/incompetent/lobbyist-infected trade deals, and we are making concessions that no other country would make.
Trade deals with China and Japan are slowly damaging America. Companies sell us out left and right. We provide national defense to other countries basically for free and don't use it as a barganing chip. TPP is also another crap trade deal, and yes, the current border non-enforcement is a giant fucking problem.
It harms not just us, but the average mexican, and really anyone south of mexico. It harms people that come here legally. It allows a corrupt narco state to pawn it's problems on the US. It allows weapons to flow freely into mexico and south america. It allows chinese nationals to spend a day in the USA to have a child with US citizenship, then bring the kid back in 18 years or so for discounts on college and higher education and our healthcare system.
There's soo many areas where we are getting fucked, and he is calling people out on it.
Our cuck fuckhead establisment shills are afraid of him and like good pets, demonize him and attack anything as racist or "a step backwards".
TL:DR; America has been getting fucked worse and worse, and it's about fucking time we have someone that can CLEAN HOUSE and not buckle to establishment lobbyist fuckers fuckers and feelings-based non-arguments from liberal and cucks.
Trump's success should be a sign of just how out-of-touch our party leaders and the power brokers are with everyday voters. It is an indictment on their policies that have only made things worse and worse over time, and sold out America to the Chinese, oil dictatorships, big bankers, and multinationals. They have been carving up America, piece by piece and trying to distract with identity politics and social issues like this stupid fucking clock story, gay marriage, the confederate flag etc. Also, I like that Trump mostly stays out of the social issues bullshit more or less and just sticks to business.
Would Trump really devote a year of his life to running a presidential campaign if he wasn't serious? He already has more money than anyone could use, so I don't see how having an ally in the White House could help him. The only thing he hasn't got is political power, and the only way he can get that is by taking this race seriously.
Those flip-flops highlighted by the video are pretty damning though.
>I'm very pro-life
>I'm very pro-choice
They could fuck him up if his opponents bring them up, which they surely will.
It was attempted when he first entered the race, when folks like Jeb tried pushing that Trump isn't a real republican
They were quickly stumped, which is why they don't push Trump on these issues anymore
>Jeb tried pushing that Trump isn't a real republican
Jeb is just incompetent. Inconsistency is Trump's biggest weakness, and it's a bad one. It will definitely be brought up again.
Most of Trump's "inconsistensies" are on things that are/should be virtual non-issues this election cycle.
Anyone with half a brain will be voting on who they think will allow them to put food on the table/ thrive economically, not who they think will let them pull fetuses out of women's cooches or not.
Trump's victory is already quints-confirmed.
>It will definitely be brought up again.
And he'll laugh and stump them again
>you know who else started a liberal democrat and became a Republican? Ronald Reagan
>he turned out better than you could hope to ever be
>by the way I answered this months ago
>you're having a hard time tonight
>Provide national defence for free.
Don't you fucking get it? Having the US provide defence is the power because it stops those nations from having their own militaries of any worth. That means that those militaries can't then stop US action. Imagine if instead of just protesting against the build up to the Iraq War, the US Navy found itself shadowed and blockaded by an equivalent German fleet?
That is the monopoly of force that the US preserves by providing the umbrella of defence. That's what the Pax Britannica was about and what the Pax Americana is about.
