Why are people allowed to hijack threads by spamming vietnamese scans and random doujins while backseat moderating and claiming that something is not allowed on a board, even after being shown screencaps of a moderator confirming that it is allowed?
What board are you supposed to discuss poker on?
/asp/ and /sp/ say it's not a sport, threads on /tg/ die instantly, and /biz/ isn't appropriate for the topic.
If Hirohito's conclusion to everything is containment boards let's become Reddit.
Just kidding, make /ge/ - Generals (or NON/vg as I've taken to calling it).
There. Two easy, normal, acceptable solutions to a grown problem. Heed this advice, or 4chan will become Something Awful.
It's already here.
How much of this board is role playing as feminist bootlickers/liberal cuckolds and how much of it is genuine?
It's /pol/ pretending to be SJW'S so they can go "LOOK GUYS THEY'RE INVADING THIS MEANS US SHITPOSTING ON EVERY BOARD IS OKAY" and /qa/ pretending to be /pol/ so they can go "LOOK HOW STUPID /pol/ IS GUYS"
Why isn't there a Shonen/manime board? moefags clearly hate sharing a board with manime fans.
You mean seinen, right?
>reply to thread on how the TPP will hinder piracy of vidya with pic related
I don't understand how my reply was off-topic in the context of the thread. .
Moderation on /v/ is wildly inconsistent. I got my thread deleted and slapped with a ban for making a vidya physics thread. Meanwhile there was a Brianna Wu thread with 499 posts and porn thread with over 100 posts.
It sucks being oppressed bro.
If you ever want a good community, drop by /mlp/ some time.
Mods please filter "reddit" or "redditor"
It only kills arguments by saying "hello reddit :^)" without contributing anything.
Is it actually possible to get diabetes from being exposed to too much cuteness?
Were 2014-2015 the worst years in 4chan history?
Why are there banners, and when are they added?
Legacy and nostalgia, mostly.
It's a nice thing to maintain in this shitty web 2.0 world we now inhabit.
Remember that 4chan is old enough to have used the old HTML frames that were so common back then.
I've noticed furry shit on /b/ is at an all time high.
Is this because a lot the furry thread constituents are moving to trash, so furfag boy is desperately trying to shore up his thread?
Seems that way. In any case, are /b/ furfag attention-fests being shifted to /trash/? If not, they should be. The other denizens of /trash/ will hate them and maybe they'll stay there for all the strife and drama.
I don't mean to be dismissive, but we can't examine /b/ as it's happening. We must wait a month or two to see if trends continue. If it's only been a day it might just be one single poster for all we know.
Please take notes for us and report back on your findings in a month.
I agree with you but we must acknowledge that it's better to do things that are effective than to just do things that feel right. We have to be aware of whether or not the things we are doing are having the effect we want. Sometimes taking the wrong approach can have the opposite effect you're looking for.
We need to be patient and do some investigation before we formulate a plan of attack. If you're not up for the task, I understand. We can find somebody to take over for you.
When was this a rule and how is it ban-worthy?
Also, when are they going to take down that obnoxious hiroyuki photo on the b& page?
It's always been a rule. Yes, it's rarely enforced, but if you get caught going 75, it doesn't matter how many other people were doing it, you still got caught doing something you weren't supposed to do.
Why would you appease all the sniffy manchildren on /r9k/ with this ban?
All of this kind of shite and this is what you choose to ban?
I'm sorry you got banned for deliberate, intentional, obvious, on purpose, shitposting and trying to start a flame war.
You're not supposed to do that.
It's just one day. You can handle staying away from /r9k/ for one day.
Hiro could you please think about a technology general board?
Not only we're getting more generals by the day, they also turned to absolute cireclejerks by the same people.
If /v/irgins got a board for their generals, why not /g/?
I know you can filter out stuff like I did, but not everyone does it. It would also be better for the board if those desktop faggots and Think-pad hipsters fuck off to their own board.
/g/ is not in a very good state atm. maybe this would help a bit.
Why is /a/ obsessed with traps/trannies?
Almost 1/3 the people I meet who go on /a/ are trans or plan to be.
