Hi /qa/, this is a serious issue. On /g/, a fellow from [s4s] scored a GET, and the mods deleted it because they're faggots. pic related is the GET We need to protect, [s4s] and /g/, GETs must be respected.
Sometimes, when I report a bad thread, it'll get deleted within a couple minutes. Other times, it'll reach over 500 posts. I think it has more to do with the internal-makeup of the mods/jannies who look after /v/. I don't expect them all to be great, but it really seems that they fall into only 1 of 2 camps: really good, or really bad.
>>389806 "mods are asleep, post X" is a long-lasting meme for a reason. Sometimes there will many of them on at once, other times it's bare. Discretion is involved, but many times I think it's just a lack of manpower. /v/ goes through thousands and thousands of posts an hour, and unfortunately there's a huge percentage of shitposts from anons that can just reset their router or otherwise ignore bans (like the entire continent of Australia)
I know I'm not the first one to suggest, but wouldn't it be nice to have anons ask for and provide medical consultation/medical advice to those in need? Would come in handy, even though it might be slow af
It has more fans than MLP and pretty much anything else. It would be fantastic. I'm thinking of all the SW movie threads, SW merch threads, threads discussing lightsabers, threads about RP in the SW universe, anything you can think of. The board would be really active.
>3. You will not post any of the following outside of /b/: Trolls, flames, racism, off-topic replies, uncalled for catchphrases, macro image replies, indecipherable text (example: "lol u tk him 2da bar|?"), anthropomorphic ("furry") or grotesque ("guro") images, post number GETs ("dubs"), or loli/shota pornography.
Sexism is in the same league as racism. Obviously, using an occasional nigger or faggot is fine and dandy, but I don't think you need to... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
We need a dialogue box to specify why a post is breaking the rules, sometimes is not completely obvious and the mods do nothing because they don't get it.
For example, this >>>/u/1941378 is a picture from an hetero scene, which is directly violating /u/ rules, I tried to report it, but it's not obvious from the pic that it is hetero, and the mods wouldn't know because why would the mod of /u/ play videogames?
That's why we need a dialogue box to explain the cause of the report, it's necessary in cases like this.
>ctrl+f "/d/" >96 results Can we get /d/ up to an even hundred? also wtf is /d/ and why do people care that it got fucked with so much? And how was it even fucked with, it looks pretty fucked now. What was it before?
On /d/, you had lots of niche fetish threads that used western and eastern art equally, because many fetishes are super specific and don't have a lot of art in general.
Western art was always permitted, even though the mods occasionally went nuts and deleted it. Eventually they added a rule against it, and people got mad (because no one wanted that rule except them) and kept posting it, so the mods stopped enforcing... Comment too long. /tg/ has always been vulnerable to viral due to the amatorial/professional ambiguity of many projects around, but lately, probably due to more and more fucks from facebook and whatnot using the board regularly, the thing is becoming too fucking frequent, to the point there are constant half-generals of games just released. but I'm making this thread swpecially for this: >>>/tg/44315172 basically this guy outright asked if someone wanted to commission him drawings for money. in another board,...
