Look at how bad /r9k/ is now.
No wonder moot left.
/r9k/ was never good, but jesus, look at those fucking threads. No filtering, that's just what was on the catalog a moment ago.
Fuck frogs, I don't really care about that, just the overall awfulness of the topics posted. There are just too many useless pieces of shit who live there to change anything.
Requesting IDs on /tv/. There is so much shitty samefagging it's unbearable. I am also a /pol/ regular and I think thread IDs have helped improve things there.
Board-wide IDs might work for /tv/, but at least thread IDs. Thanks
>mobileposter at that.
You and your "muh degeneracy" faggotry are far worse than any mass of threads around a highly anticipated movie's release.
That said, I could roll with thread specific IDs as it might help with the decorum. Samefagging doesn't matter, and you /pol/acks do it all the time on /tv/ anyways.
>MY EXTREME ANIME PORN BOARD HAS TOO MUCH PENISES IN IT
>I CAN'T POST EXTREME WESTERN CARTOON PORN IN MY EXTREME ANIME PORN BOARD
Deal with it, crybabies
Why can we have 10 Kojima threads on /v/, but can't have a single Jim Sterling thread?
It made sense when moot was around because he was being cucked by that SJW girl and desperately wanted to earn the privilege of prepping her bull by banning laugh at SJW threads.
Doesn't make any sense now we have jackie-4chan though.
They most certainly are video game related.
They're about game developers and celebrities.
>tfw helping anons over on /wsr/
I too like it. Hiro has done good.
Whom are you quoting btw?
Why is the self serving advertising so shit?
>468x80 ads cost the exact same as 728x90 banners
>you can't advertise on some boards (pic)
>bitcoin not an available payment
>if you buy a top 728x90 banner it still shows on the bottom which probably counts as two ads shown and expires quicker
>can't target mobile users specifically
>since bitcoin isn't integrated within rubicon, send Bitcoin address through email and send promo code that pays for the price you paid in bitcoin. Since the promo code expires when refreshing the page, make sure the user cannot exit the page when refreshing.
>update/fix board list
Is calling everything you don't like "meme x" the worst meme of all time?
>I fell for the meme
>this thing I don't like is a meme
>this thing I like is a meme in a good way
>[word with "meme" shoehorned into it somehow]
it's starting to get so bad it needs to be filtered
>over 80 Star Wars threads on /tv/
Look at it like this - mods could easily ask people to condense their SW threads instead of make the same ones over and over, and delete superfluous ones to enforce it. On the other hand, while this would clear out much of the board, it would be at high (near-100%) risk of spawning at least one cancerous general thread which would then stick around much longer than necessary.
In other words bear with it since it'll only be like this for a few weeks max. It's fucking Star Wars. Did you not think this would happen?
>In other words bear with it since it'll only be like this for a few weeks max.
Star Wars garbage is here to stay, and Disney has plans to milk this forever.
A cancerous general isn't a big deal, we already have /who/. Just hide it and it's done. Here, that's more than 80 SW threads to hide, new shit coming up every minute that I have to hide again, and it slows down the good threads since they don't get any attention, the first pages of /tv/ being Star Wars only.
I'm liking /wsr/ so far. It's like a good version of /a/.
What is your favorite anime?
Who is the best character?
>post on cancerous board
>only get to report 1/50th of shitposts I come across because of this retarded daily limit
What's the fucking point of it?
>report a caps lock niggerspouting shitpost
>get warned for "abusing the report system"
Honestly I wish the staff team had transparency. I definitely know there's some great mods out there who do exactly what they're supposed to which is enforcing the rules, but there's an odd case where I can't help but wonder if I just fell victim to a janitor or a mod who has a grudge against me, and there's no way to check this either.

Anyone else happy /wsr/ got made? It's off to a pretty good start even now, I always had to shy away from /r/ because
1. it was dead as fuck
2. it was COMPLETELY FULL of hey can you find more vids of this amateur pornstar who has only done one video ever
next we need to split /g/ into /prog/-proramming & and /goy/-consumerism
Mods are trash human beings on all other sites, why wouldn't this apply to 4chan?
If every staff member were a clone of moot he would have never left. I doubt Hiro is making any decisions here, the reddit mods are obviously whispering poison into his ear.
If you weren't a newfag you'd know this was already known years ago after the exodus from SA.
Ever heard of "mods=fags"? Or why it was revolutionary at the time to be able to say that and not get banned? Anyone surprised that the mods are like this clearly hasn't been around for any real period of time.
But, the good thing is, doesn't matter what they like. Ban you? Reset the router. They're impotent and can't really fucking do anything, hence why they just sit in IRC circlejerking with sycophants who want to be a mod too....

So was SASS. But, whatever, go on about your le reddit boogeyman if you want. I don't care, just replying to OP about how he's a stupid newfag who hasn't been around long enough to see history repeat itself.
This site is absolute shit in 2015. There's a reason moot left. Just delete it.
Why has "cuck" been unfiltered, yet we're still unable to say "t.bh", "s.mh", or "f.am"? I don't see the logic here.
