I have a question regarding a specific thread on /vg/, namely the Star Citizen General thread (/scg/).
For some context, Star Citizen is an upcoming massively multiplayer space sim and the people of /scg/ have already come together and put together groups to play it.
As of late a member of the moderation team has been shutting down any and all discussion of organizations while banning people for having the audacity of attempting to get people to play and cooperate together, in a multiplayer game.
What's even more confusing is that... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
>>385771 Yes we do. While I'm a little hesitant on /metav/, personally I would rather us have a video culture and a video industry board, we do need to get rid of /vg/ and bring it back to /v/ once more.
/vi/ is where all shit like Gaming Journalism, GamerGate, and SJW's can go. Along with stock holder meetings and the like.
/vc/ should be for LOL Comics, Deep Sea threads, Santa Hat threads, adventure game threads, and maybe original OC
Who the fuck is going to pay for the server, retard?
Then how would you explain the image limits, and that a single poster could then hoard the entire thread? They'd have to keep the image limit to 150 posts with images, and even if they start allowing three pictures per image, it will invent so many new fucking memes and cancer, and not to mention that the server load will be almost tripled, and ALL THE CURRENT ARCHIVES WILL HAVE TO BE RECTIFIED... >>385461 Because images are an extension of a post and you only need 1 picture for that. We don't need the entire site to become an actual image dumping ground. Instead of asking for a retarded pointless feature, instead ask for maybe higher file limits instead. I'd rather be able to post higher image sizes, then using 2 images in a post
I had a dream that I turned on my computer and 4chan was open with a tab to a new board I never heard about:
I vaguely remember the subtext but it was like an /r9k/, but explicitly for creepy stories and loser experiences. It was different from /x/. I remember wanting to share pictures that I took from my phone, because I had a dream inside my dream that I was taking pictures of random events. Then I woke up to find those events on my phone, and was wondering the significance.
TL;DR: What... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
>>385427 I had a dream that 4chan never became shit and ended up as a semi-serious discussion site for otaku culture and hobbies. The textboards were also alive. Essentially, in the dream, 4chan was like an English 2ch. Social media was also dead and had been replaced with anonymous discussion. IRC and Telnet were still actively used by people. The internet was like a higher quality, more refined version of 2003-2006.
>>385381 >using non-botnet webkit browser >page loads everything but text Web developers are the cancer killing the web. Six trillions gigabites of RAM required and it's still dogshit slow compared to flash on a 10 year old computer.
