>Hiro, why don't you let the people who use the boards actually decide what get talked about rather than allowing moot's paid off shill mods to run the show?
How about we get all of the meta-drama about the industry and shitty tertiary threads off the board? You don't want to talk about video games, you want to talk about gossip, memes and other nonsense. While SJ nonsense has been negatively impacting most forms of fictional media, that's not what happened with this game. It was a calculated business decision based... Comment too long. I just want to thank the mods for cracking down on /pol/ by filtering their memes, enabling flags and IDs as punishment and now preparing their eventual replacement, /news/.
Even if /news/ turns out to be another /pol/, you can just delete /pol/ and allow them to post on /news/, they'll have a board where they can't even post images and are limited in what they put in the OP, it's genius.
The "no racism outside of /b/" rule is no longer just for show, you guys are actually cracking down on racist posts outside of /b/ and reinforcing that racism is not acceptable in stickies.
Keep up the good work, I fully support what you're doing. You're really cleaning this place up. Hopefully racism won't exist on 4chan in the future.
Also, a suggestion for /news/, please don't allow people to post links to Breitbart, the Daily Mail, the Telegraph, the Sun, and other right-wing tabloids. Another idea, but it might be a bit extreme, don't allow the discussion of immigration on /news/.
>/news/ is a text board Why? What's the harm in having the ability to post images, especially as replies? I can foresee me wanting to post a reaction image to a news article. Maybe only disable images for the OP?
>When starting a thread you must include the complete URL of a news article from a credible news site >editorial articles Define "credible news site" and "editorial articles", because this is open to interpretation... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
Since threads are autosaged after 48 hours, perhaps a higher bump limit should be in effect. Say, 4000 instead of 300/500. Since there's no images, loading time should be a lot faster. Plus, it would be good for all the live happening threads so that the board isn't flooded with them.
Ad you know, it is a bannable offence to say the "nigger" word on /co/, or disapprove of transexuals or homosexual lifestyles. This is important because much of /co/'s related media is being filled with things that relate to social justice topics, particularly Marvel Comics and Third Wave feminism cartoons like Steven Universe.
While I'm fine with opposing viewpoints, what I'm not fine with the Mods taking a side and protecting "progressivism" from dissent.
Hiro, you need to realize that this tactic of weaseling their way into... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
>>361652 Not OP, but despite loving comics, I barely come there because literally 90% of the threads are cape circlejerks or kiddy cartoon threads.
>>361646 I stopped coming to /k/ after I got banned for making a thread about naval vessels in which I used the word "news", as in "have you heard the news about these new ships?". The ban text was literally "->/news/".
I don't know if I broke some unwritten, autistic board rule,... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
I want to be a productive member of society and achieve my goals but I realize 4chan triggers my procrastination a lot. How can I get a perma ban from 4chan so I can never post here again? I don't want to even read 4chan.
