Britbong here. Why has my flag changed to USA?
This is on multiple computers, what shenanigans are these?
Should /tv/ be deleted?
Why is avatarfagging and off topic shit posting never dealt with no matter how many times it is reported? Are mods even a thing anymore because they are clearly not doing a very good job.
>/qa/ claims we're being invaded by reddit
>reddit claims they're being invaded by 4chan
Well? Which is it?
So is this board where all the tattletales hang out?
Why isn't kys filtered yet?
Welcome to the official /qa/ bitching general. Come here to bitch about whatever you want.
How shitty the mods are.
Whatever else you want to complain about. It doesn't do anything though.
Alright let's get this straight:
"Anon" is pronounced "uh-NAHN," not "AY-nahn"
"Sage" is pronounced "sah-GAY," not "sayje"
"Gif" is pronounced "gif," not "jiff."
Are we clear?
I always say the A in "anon" like that A in "at".
That's not how I say it in the word "anonymous" though, I guess I just pronounce them differently. Never really gave it much thought.
Also, I like to say "sayje" because fuck the police. "sah-GAY" isn't technically right either, the Japanese way of saying it just doesn't flow well in English, and if I'm not going to say it exactly right then I might as well just say it however the hell I want.
If 4chan closed down forever, what do you think would happen to the community? Do you think it would all congregate to one new site with lots of boards covering various topics like 4chan, or do you think it would balkanise into lots of smaller sites? Like the /pol/ community would form a new imageboard covering politics whilst the weeb boards congregate on a seperate site.
I'd say about 50% of 4chan today is literally only here because they think it's cool, and I think I'm being quite generous with that percentage too.
They don't need the escape from the real world that 4chan used to be, a place to talk about obscure things, or the anonymity.
They'd be perfectly happy on any other social media site.
So I'm pretty sure it would split up. Those people would just go back to their social media shitholes and the rest of us would either populate...

There'd be a reduction of about half as most people that joined the internet past 2003 or so are seemingly too stupid to bother searching for things. Chances are anyone that doesn't already use multiple imageboards right now would just return to using solely reddit or facebook.
As for the community itself, I think it would split. Given a choice the communities prefer to remain separate so I don't think it would be one new mega-site.
There's already plenty of Japanese-oriented imageboards and they would mostly just grow, although the quality would...

>If 4chan closed down forever, what do you think would happen to the community?
It would presumably migrate back to Stormfront from whence it came.
The original 4chan community circa 2006 abandoned this shithole a long time ago. My guess is that they went on to Reddit, GameFAQs and whatever other sites serve niches of nerd communities.
Tomorrow /pol/ is going to get an influx of normalfags. The alt-right will support Hillary Clinton.
Turn /pol/ into a blue board tomorrow and enforce these rules
Guys, i have a genuine question here.
I came back from vacation a few days ago and I live in Greece. I tried posting on /pol/ today and it says i can't post from my location or my country has been banned due to abuse.
Can someone explain to me what is happening? And if we are indeed banned what happens next? Do we all have to buy 4chan passes?
Hillary is going to give a speech about the "alt-right" tomorrow. She might mention 4chan. The site might get destroyed by normalfags for good because of those cancerous idiots. Start packing your bags and searching for lternatives already because I don't think we'll have any chance of recovering from this if it indeed happens.
is my country range banned? wtf
THE /INT/ JANITOR IS FREAKING OUT AGAIN
Cosmote, the largest Greek ISP, has been banned from posting on /pol/ and /vg/ (among others perhaps but I haven't checked) for about a week or so now.
We can post fine on /v/ and other boards.
Please fix this, it is obviously a mistake.
We can't even buy a 4chan pass due to capital controls, foreign payments are forbidden (even small amounts).
>mfw Americans call sharting in marts "culture"
/pol/ and friends get mentioned again
I need a psychiatrist, how do I choose which one to go to?
One anon claims that a PC game from 2002 is off topic b/c the 1999 cutoff. The other says it's not because it's on a console allowed by the rules.
So, which is it.
I guarantee mods will not delete a thread for discussing a port of a retro game. Especially one made around the same time as the original.
The problem is the users. I'm not sure if it's trolling, or if they honestly think it's still 1999.
What is up with sites like SheekyForums.com and SupForums.com? Obviously they are just rehosting 4chan content and then selling ad space to advertisers under the pretext of being real websites.
If they're making good money out of this, Hiro should sue them or at least send a C&D.
moot tried before he left, the C&Ds were ignored.
iirc I think I remember someone saying the guy behind Sheeky was in Spain and the other one was somewhere in South Asia and both places don't have strong enforcement of such things.
Why the fuck is Australian IP on pol
range banned from making threads?
chike front page?
NFL season is starting up again, which means that /sp/ is being flooded with people using this insensitive racial slur. Most people on /NFL/ are not racists and do not root for the Washington R******s, so we would appreciate it if the mods would start filtering this hateful language on /sp/
I second this
>MfW I can't visit my favorite board without being bombarded with hateful language
What does /qa/ think about gab? It taken two cancers and combined them into one super cancer
Its twitter with upvotes, its only 9days old and the waiting list to get in at 15k
I don't want to shill it, thats why i didnt link its already looking cancerous.
Does anybody know why Greece is range-banned from /pol/, and when this shit will be fixed/lifted? It's been like that for a week now...
You can always try the IRC for answers.
I can only assume someone did some massive flooding/ or CP spam which got everyone messed up idk
We don't delete /pol/. Instead, we remove it from 4chan and transplant it on reddit.
Hiro please ask plebbit admins to delete /r/4chan subreddit
it brings too much unwanted attention
How does a board with a regular userbase of probably less than a hundred have so much board-tan fan art?
How do I become mod ?
Enable IDs on /qa/ so I can filter Qatholic Anon please.
