It depends. In your opinion, is posting without CAPTCHA worth $20? If so, buy one. If not, don't buy one. It's really that simple.
For what it's worth, $20 for a year without CAPTCHA is very useful. Sometimes when I'm posting, I just don't feel like filling out a CAPTCHA, especially with all the recent 'select all images' bullshit. You'd also be supporting the site you browse, so there's also that.
So /qa/, let's just say a random popular board is suddenly deleted. Just think of any popular one and stick with it. Assuming no mod or hiro input on why it was deleted from that point on, what happens?
Let's discuss everything you'd change with 4chan that has nothing to do with adding/removing a board.
Change Titles: >/x/ - Horror and the Paranormal >/m/ - Mecha and Tokusatsu
Other Changes: >captcha only appears once every 3-5 posts or so >actually enforce Global Rule #3 >add the ability to automatically hide all replies to a post when you hide/filter a post >allow... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
remove recaptcha. why do i have to help google spy on houses, or help their ai develop, just in order to post? this place is like mechanical turk now only you don't get paid money, you just get to post. holy fuck how has this gone on for so long?
No, just make celeb posting within the rules for each board.
/v/ has had AVGN and Spoony threads for nearly a decade. It has had twitter threads since Phil Fish's first meltdown in 2011. /tv/ should have celeb threads since it's the board about freaking actors and celebrities.
A celeb board won't solve anything. People want to discuss them at their board. /v/irgins don't make Game Grump threads on /k/. /tv/fags don't make Kardashian threads on /o/.
Sup, /qa/, in this thread we share 4chan folders, and we'll post a few we've received from previous threads.
Hopefully you can upload your own to share, on here or mega.co.nz. A lot of images tend to go out of circulation, and drives fail, so keep our traditions alive. There's often a lot to discover in the 12 year legacy of this site.
If you have more than 20GBs of data to share, especially old screencaps or old threads, we can help you make that possible. We have a 1TB Seedbox/Server that can host the data as a torrent or direct download. Let's... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
Modern 4chan is neutered place full of dumb unfunny people. The single greatest quality in this entire website has is repetitiveness. Day after day, the same shitty threads and the same clueless and banal responses. The closest thing this website has to a place where interesting stuff actually happens or get uploaded is [s4s], and that is a "post-ironic" shithole enjoyed almost exclusively by teenagers. And even [s4s] is way past its prime. /b/ hasn't been funny in years, /jp/ and /sp/ have been killed by overmoderation, and the undermoderated boards are filled by the same meme-spouting retards who edit ED and KYM articles.
4chan is fucking dead. The only people who can still genuinely enjoy it are idiots who've been here for less than 2 years, or the outsiders who love reading through predictable greentext stories on /r/4chan. You can try switching boards, you can try justifying your stay here, but at the end of the day you'll get tired of it too. Sooner or later you too will realize what a boring waste of time it all really is.
>>345622 Oh really? That's why we never spammed our stuff over 4chan whereas furries and bronies did. And we're the cancer? It's actually a good thing that it's not allowed on trash anyway because it isn't trash.
Furries and bronies being happy that they're allowed on a literal trash board is hilarious.
