>>408285 Him having a small influence on a few anime/video game titles doesn't mean he deserves a million fucking threads on those boards, especially since they're nothing but off-topic circlejerking. Even mods have been deleting them but they still persist.
More and more I've really started to appreciate the Tumblr mentality of simply blocking out toxic people. I think a lot of us there realize that it's not about ignoring criticism entirely, it's about disregarding those who could not bring a constructive word to the table if their life depended on it. In other words, a type of person who is extremely prevalent on 4chan. There are certainly people who can say something you disagree with without being a dick about it, and so you can actually have a good discussion with them. I've found a good number of people like that on Reddit. It's just that a large chunk of a lot of communities are absolutely horrible people, and said people have no self-awareness so they get confused when people don't want to deal with their toxicity and think, "Ooh, I hate those people! It's just a hugbox and nobody's allowed to disagree with them!"
At the moment a thread on /a/ - the Daily Japanese Thread- is getting routinely bombarded by shills and retards, promoting a terribly paid product from https://wanikani.com This is against the rules yet since the option to flag for advertising is gone, and that mods are fucking useless, these shitposters and shills go ignored.

>wagecuck >comfy >meme magic
amongst others. It's probably likely these are perpetrated by the same person.
But I really do wonder. Certainly that is not mentally healthy to behave like that. I think they must feel deeply inferior and unable to make themselves heard in regular conversation. They don't feel like anyone will listen to them unless it is out of annoyance.

How would they even be able to figure it out, would you ask them?
This is fucking stupid, your picture is a perfect example of what I'm talking about because there is no actual age posted in any way. Hence there is no way to ban for the duration it takes for them to reach 18.
Can mods please start enforcing Global Rule 3? I'm sick and tired of people injecting racist rants outside of /pol/ and /b/. There's literally no reason to start spewing racial slurs in /v/ and other boards.
We are having a dialogue about what could help fix the longrun problem that is /v/. We believe a radical solution to it would be creating a new /metav/ board to contain the following type of threads:
>Threads about reviews >Threads about developers, voice actors, artists, programmers, etc. >Threads that throwback features from games (A.K.A ">X game Y Thing happens" threads Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
