I really like the zero tolerance poilice /a/ mods have for frogs. I'm sure there' some mod who has the frog memorized and actively looks out for it in the report queue since frogposts are usually deleted pretty fast.
Motivation: Things that you find annoying are seen as positive and enjoyable to the majority of /a/ and they are trying to be positive and enjoyable to each other. Likewise, your disdain for /a/'s behaviour and annoyance with their actions and methodology returns positive yields to them, so it is in their best interest to be "annoying" and they do things in their best interest.
Justification: "People like different things, and I like myself. I will join like minded individuals and do the best I can to help those people be the way I think is best for... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
Reminder that people who say shit like "cringe", "cringed hard", "cringy as fuck", etc, are guaranteed to be redditors 99% of the time.
Call them out every time you see them doing that, because there aren't enough people doing it. I believe we are suffering another influx of redditors since this only started getting prominent in some boards like 3 months ago.
So why aren't videogames with anime style allowed on /v/ anymore? These past days, I've seen completely on-topic Senran and Nep threads get deleted. Isn't 4chan supposed to gear towards Japanese culture? Why do I get the impression that /v/ mods hate anything Japanese?
>>405327 I don't know but I've abandoned /v/ for good. It's literally the video game equivalent of /tv/. It's fine if you want to shitpost about topics vaguely related to video games, but actual discussion is becoming more and more of an afterthought.
It's funny because as much flack as neogaf gets there, they have a much better Japanese gaming community there.
>>405302 Because /a/ fucking hates answering requests. Threads like that got spammed a lot on /a/ and it got annoying because it proved who the newfags were, and /a/ fucking hates newfags.
What should be done is making a sticky on /g/ and moving requests from there over to /wsr/, now that would solve a lot. The same goes for video games, TV shows, basically anything request related should go there, and the mods need to do a better job of enforcing that. I mean they did a shit job enforcing /trash/
>>405301 So you agree then the mentality and demographics of the two threads is completely different. People talk about alcohol because it has clearly consumed their life at some point, talking about ales etc. is a big and diverse topic. What is there to discuss about marijuana, aside from whether it should be legal or not?
Weed culture is pure cancer and you deserve to rot for trying to force it
I am really starting to believe Hiro is regretting buying this place. His activity on this site has slowed down immensely. Despite him adding new boards, despite him promising us to make this site "For the users" and despite promising moot he'd make 4chan an anime centric place again, it seems to me he simply had no idea how bad things were on here. I am simply assuming at this point now moot never told Hiro about what transpired that made moot leave: From Gamergate and The Fappening, to Redditors shitposting the site up, to the mods running rampant and abusing... >>405292 Hate to break it to you, but /pol/ is huge, and really is the only place to tell the truth about things. The shitposters on /pol/ are mostly Bernie Sanders supporting Redditors and their mods spreading lies and propaganda. This was confirmed by an ex-Reddit mod from a major subreddit who got fired because his political views didn't line up with Reddit's.
All he really has to do is the following:
>Fire moderators who are known to be corrupt and have ruined certain boards. So fire Kittenmod,... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
