To any who are not aware, /a/ has a daily Japanese thread for purposes of learning the language. Over the past few years it and its collection of materials have emerged as one of the most eminent resources for Japanese self-learning on the web. However, there is currently no generally-accepted paid product that many of DJT users use. It's easy to see see how this could be viewed as an untapped market for advertisers, and that's exactly what has happened.
Over the past several weeks, a program for Japanese learning with a monthly service fee, Wanikani, (logo... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
Reddit isn't a problem unless you make it one, which you most definitely, unequivocally, absolutely are doing. Please stop making reddit a problem. Telling people to stop talking about reddit will only make them talk about it more. I know the irony of me telling you to stop doing something will only make you do it harder, but I should hope that you're more civilized than those people that you dislike. Feel free to prove me wrong and just validate my cynicism even more.
Can we PLEASE make posting this shit a bannable offense? Its like, AHAHHAHAHAHAAAHH LPPK GAIS I POSTED DA BANANER AGAIN IM SO FUNNY HARHARAHRHrharrrrr sooo funnny thanks lore save its all urs my grand I really like this image Where's u find this Just Fucking BAN IT! I'm seeing it everywhere, it used to be /b/ but I was just looking at a thread on /g/ and the thread was derailed, with things completely unrelated to text.
I would like to petition for a new board: /art/. On said board, we could discuss theater, the opera, paintings, sculptures, classic composers and symphonies, new movements in the arts in general. None of these topics really belong on any other boar really, so why not give us a home?
This thread would do a lot better on /wsr/. "Where can I find X?" is not a question with an easy answer. You should go request on /wsr/. They're better over there. /qa/ is more of a place to ask a question like, "Is Runescape still worth playing?" to which the answer is "No."
I remember going on /x/ a few years back and having an enjoyable time. Now it is probably my least favorite board on the entire site. There is no interesting discussion anymore, just roleplay and mental issues. If you don't believe me, just see for yourself. How would one go about fixing the board, or would just nuking it be better? I am at a loss.
Let's come up with scenarios that could cripple or downright kill boards.
/co/ is made into a Comics, Cartoons and Dubbed Anime board for once and for all to truly allow Digimon and series shown on Toonami, as well as literally any other anime with a dub . In fact, a dubbed anime board out of /a/ could really harm /a/ and /co/ (to a lesser extent, if it's not part of /co/).
I'd like to be able to talk about these too. In one of the early "board request" threads I threw out the idea of a board for discussing internet media since we have boards for TV, Video games, etc. It's just another medium after all.
>>404419 You used to be so stupid that you thought some of the mediocre posts were funny. Then you got smarter. Well done. Graduate to reddit.
I'm not trying to be mean. I'm being legit honest here. You'll like it better over there. Pick a category you like and try to find a subreddit about it. Do NOT under any circumstances go to any of the subreddits that are "default" or overly popular. Don't go to /r/anime, but instead go to /r/killlakill or /r/k-on or whatever other anime you like. You'll... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
