>knowing anything about reddit is frowned upon
>not hating reddit is frowned upon
Well, then how are people supposed to form an opinion about it?
inb4 /v/ analogies involving shit
The reddit became comical lately with people calling anyone that doesn't agree with him a redditor.
I still don't understand why we hate reddit as a whole, I mean, a lot of subreddit have their own community. It's like hating 4chan as a whole, it makes no sense unless you hate every board.
What makes me really laugh is when people in cancer board like /vg/ frown on reddit despite being way worse than the subreddit who discuss the same topic.
>despite being way worse than the subreddit who discuss the same topic
That's literally every board.
The only advantage 4chan still has over Reddit is its capacity for creating dank memes.
I thought 4chan created the frog?
Did something happen that I don't know about?
How do people make these kinds of images? Is there something that does it for them? Or do they do it manually in photoshop every single time.
Can the mods just crack down on frogposters and instantly ban them already?
For every frogshit image I filter, another resized version or variation of it instantly pops up.
It's fucking ridiculous. Frogshitters are absolute fucking cancer and deserve to be gassed.
What if the mods integrated a Cleverbot app into /pol/? What would the results be?
Frogposters produce much more OC than weebs, therefore they are less reddit than weebs.
Prove me wrong.
Why do you assume there are two mutually exclusive groups? The only line pepe draws in the userbase is between those who take things too seriously and those who don't.
I'm from /a/ and I've just been sitting back this past year having absolutely no idea why pepe would trigger anyone, and I find it funny.
Why is the "staff" on /gif/ so incompetent?
Why are weebs so unwilling to admit that anime is popular outside of 4chan, particularly on reddit and especially tumblr?
The hole ERP, "l-lewd" and "everyone is a little gay" things for example are essentially breeding grounds for /tumblr/ enclaves on 4chan, they really attract all the gays, and gender identity disorder pre and post op trannies.
People on 4chan have this delusion that late-night anime is really obscure and everyone else just watches naruto/snk/soa etc but that really isn't true.
Where will 4chan be in 20 years?
What about the people who would browse 4chan?
Hiro is making so many new boards, but I don't really think we need a board for everyone's college major. In fact, we could really cut down the overall number of boards to make moderation work easier (and theoretically make 4chan better moderated).
So what boards do you think are redundant and/or irrelevant? I don't mean boards you want removed because you dislike them, I mean boards that aren't actually serving any function that another board couldn't serve just as well.
>So what boards do you think are redundant and/or irrelevant?
Every board created after 2004.
>I don't mean boards you want removed because you dislike them, I mean boards that aren't actually serving any function that another board couldn't serve just as well.
There are thousands of websites which better serve the discussion of these interests. 4chan was created for a particular area of discussion and that is where it should have...

How did a website made for anime enthusiasts end up attracting so much non-anime traffic?
Pic related confirmed for best meme of 2016.
What do you think?
I think /tv/ is getting a little out of hand with Star Wars threads. Remember how /v/ used to be filled with Pokemon threads and made a containment board just for Pokemon? I think its actually way worse than that. it definitely needs an actual separate board for everything Star Wars related.
I also made a poll here to see if anyone would be interested in a Star Wars board. Also, there will be a new Star Wars movie every year too so this is only just the beginning.
They're cancer to all boards.
Tripcodes can be useful in the right threads, but tripfags are making 4chan a worse place.
/asp/ here. Can we have our board back?
/asp/ is now literally 100% wrestling threads. We aren't welcome on /sp/, so we now have no place to post.
A solution to this would be to ban professional wrestling from /asp/ and make a new board called either /pro/, /pw/, or /woo/ for the wrestling posters.
I guess Hiro didn't realize just how bad the wrestling flood was going to be. /sp/ just wanted it gone so Hiro figured /asp/ was the best place for it. He probably had no idea it would get this bad.
I agree though, a wrestling centrist board would help a lot.
/woo/ - Boxing and Fighting
That way we get taekwondo and other fighting styles to shit on each other constantly.
