>meet guy online
>really sweet and charming
>plan to meet up IRL
>last night he tells me that he used a bot to conduct a lot of our early conversations
Why do guys do this? Social anxiety is not an excuse.
User: Hey, you fuck.
Cleverbot: 23. And you?
User: The fuck?
Cleverbot: Yes, I loved it.
Cleverbot: I loved my goldfishes.
User: You stupid fuck.
Cleverbot: I don't have cat, I have a dog but there is a cat across the road and our dog hates it.
User: Fuck it.
Cleverbot: Apple apple apple hey they are nice fruits don't you agree.
It was a combination. Basically, according to him, he would have it send "small talk" responses automatically and for other things he would type out responses beforehand and have the bot send them for him, that way he could avoid having his "anxiety" triggered.
He pre-wrote a lot of the responses. I just don't feel like I can trust him as much now. I mean he just sat back and watched me talk to myself for weeks without saying anything to me. It feels bad that's all.
Who here honestly think that women talk like 'bot? It's like they only give small answers, reacting to everything you're saying but never leading the conversation.
I feel like a gladiator in charge of entertaining a crowd.
Or like an autistic clown.
Well I would like to feel like a gladiator so can we stay at the "like a gladiator" part?
I think you misunderstood, I wasn't saying that I used a bot but rather that I made a shitpost pretending to be female in order to rationalize my guilt towards an actual female (who happened to also browse /r9k/)
Awww fuck don't hold that against him it's cute he just needed a little help/ confidence. We all need a boost sometimes it shows effort on his part.
