Why are American teachers so dumb?
Not only do statistics support this, but the protocol for answering questions basically follows this line of thought:
>"Well... I don't know. Maybe..."

and then conjecture that starts of humble is then manically pushed forward as the most probable reason, and then the only possible solution, always, and I mean always using logical fallacies to discount other possibilities and further their own theory.

How is it that teachers in America are completely oblivious to reasoning, science,...

Foreigner here.

I still can't comprehend why America has the best colleges in the world (HYPSMC), but has one of the shittiest education systems among first-world countries.

Answering your question, from what I've seen from Hollywood it seems likely that a high percentage of American teachers are depressed due to pressures and thus are likely to not support the students in times of need etc.

I remember in high school, when I wished our teachers would act like yours instead.

Ask them a question they don't know the answer to and they give you bullshit answers instead of just admitting they don't know. I still remember when we were studying planets and stars, and I asked what is the size of the observable universe and the teacher answered

Okay, guys. I passed Physics I and II (intro classical mechanics and intro electromagnetism), but only because I memorized a bunch of equations and methods of solving the problems. I only barely passed the second class because all the other students were retarded and the teacher applied a huge grading curve. I don't feel like I've learned any physics. Physics right now just seems like a big mess of equations; no intuition.

How do I become less shit at physics? Or am I just retarded?

I also just finished Physics I and II. Passed with an A and B, but I feel like I only received such grades due to the other areas of the class, such as homework, labs, etc. Quizzes and finals I sucked complete ass. I feel pretty dumb.

Going to watch this thread.
>>
Read books. Git gud at math. Do exercises. Don't be discouraged about having to memorize the equations, you shouldn't be deriving them every time you have to use them. And special cases and solutions using things like Legendre polynomials and Bessel functions took many man hours to solve, don't feel discouraged if you need to memorize those or don't understand when or how to use them at first.
The solved examples in books are usually problems that explain the basic concepts of the topic and should be taken as basic fact and the intuition built around them.

Give...

Because "you're genetically less intelligent" had traditionally been used to discriminate against certain groups, worse still it's been used to deny them their human rights and even as a reason for genocide. This leads to people being a bit hesitant when bringing up the subject in modern parlance.

On the other hand "you're genetically lactose intolerant" has, as far as I'm aware never been used for the above.

Logics and Type theories can be used to express frameworks like set theory and cateogry, which are rich enough to incoorporate essnetially all of mathematics.
This is however not the full scope of natural language. A notion like

In a world without Krasnoyarsk Krai, Tuva Republic, Mongolia and Inner Mongolia, would the orange zone be warmer than the real situation?

The new seas (in Siberia and Mongolia places) maintain the temperature heated during the summer; and without the mountains of Mongolia, the warm air can move across the steppe.
