USMNT B team call ups edition.
>Goalkeeper Bill Hamid (D.C. United), midfielders Mix Diskerud (New York City FC), Lee Nguyen (New England Revolution) and Brek Shea (Orlando City SC) and forward Andrew Wooten (Sandhausen), will link up with the squad upon the its arrival in Harrison, N.J., on Sunday.
About time Hamid got a call up
Am I the only one that thinks Atlanta will be a shit franchise for at least 5 years in MLS? The two expansion teams this year have been struggling and there is no one who can play well that wants to go to Atlanta. New York can get the big names and Orlando can get the big Spanish speaking names, but Atlanta? wtf is that? People would rather go to Colorado than there.
I expect Arthur Blank to shell out that Home Depot dosh for a good player to get butts in seats, and to attract talent.
It would be a shame if we just named names without proof to back it up. Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
>Klinsmann: "The Gold Cup was influenced by poor referee decisions. That's why we were here tonight." Wow. #USAMEX #CONCACAFCup
Never imagined Klinsmann could ever reach these levels of delusion
How my weekend went
YOU SHOULD HAVE WON YOU FUCKING CUCKS, THESE FUCKING RETARDED DIVAS DIDN'T DESERVE TO GO TO THE CUP, SPECIALLY AFTER BEING REFBALLED INTO THE GOLD CUP FINALS,
FIRST TIME I WANTED YOU TO WIN AND YOU DO THIS AFTER SHITTING ON US FOR SO MANY YEARS
YOU CONTRARIAN FAGGOTS GO GET FUCKED BY A HUGE NIGGER DICK
It's not delusion bruh. It's the spin he's putting us in.
I'll never root for an LA team. The Galaxy picking up dos Santos almost got me to change my mind, but couldn't come around. Quakes are turbofaggots. I just watched different teams and liked the Timbers the most.
tbf they will have more money and better infrastructure than many existing MLS franchises, though they did fuck up on their branding/identity...
Terminus SC would have been the dream
>they have enough money to field a competitive team and wait the 5-10
That's not how MLS works anymore bro. Sure you can get 3 DPs and that 4 TAM player or whatever, but you need a strong scouting network and an academy to fill out the squad. Expansion teams have always had a rough start, but it just gets harder every year now. Unless they open more DP slots I don't see any of the future expansion teams making the playoffs for a while.
I'm not saying they'll win a trophy, I'm just saying the Atlanta, Miami, LA are all going to have decently strong launches and will be able to be somewhat competitive unless they build their team retardedly like NYCFC
Building a team from scratch isn't easy. Torronto has been pouring millions into it, and they're just now starting to get it together. No doubt those teams will have big name players. One of them will most likely get Ronaldo after all. On the other hand I think that MLS is starting to get some of shit together, and it just puts every future expansion team further behind.
I'd almost say they should force any future owners wanting to buy into MLS to get a USL team set up and running for a year or two while they get everything else in order for MLS.
What up these playoffs?
Why make 1 and 2 play each other instead of giving them the winners of the knock out games?
Some MLS teams have academies and lower teams playing in USL. This will be one of them.
With the new Barves stadium in the wealthier part of town...yes. All we need is wins, until then we still feel poor.
I doubt you can find any way to support any of your arguments. I can see the first season being a struggle but I still think they will do better than Orlando or NYCFC who only have one good DP each. Arthur will splash some big time cash on 3 solid DP's that actually have similar playing styles.
Atlanta has everything, its just all spread out. The place is growing like crazy, there's cranes fucking everywhere like its Dubai or something and I wouldn't be surprised if Atlanta had more spanish speakers than Orlando.
>"Forty Projects Leave Few Blocks Untouched in Midtown"
> People would rather go to Colorado than there.
and be on the fucking Rapids? yeah right.
>Arthur will splash some big time cash on 3 solid DP's that actually have similar playing styles.
That's a assuming that Bocenegra knows what he's doing, and they find a coach that handle them, and that the coach and Bocenegra are on the same page, and that they find good players to put around them.
NYCFC and Orlando had good first years for expansion teams, and they're both a few years off from making the playoffs. By the time Atlanta gets in those teams will just be 2 more teams that that Atlanta will to get over to make the playoffs.
>It will look comfy with the view of the prison in the bg.
they might actually tear it town, probably not...but they are actually talking about it which is HUGE.
check it out fam:
yeah everyone will miss the Ted but I won't miss having jackshit to do around the stadium or dealing with the ghetto ass sketchy parking lots with people trying to sell me bootleg shit or just straight up begging for money.
Arthur, Boca, and Eales have already learned a fuckload from other clubs mistakes. I think >we'll be real contenders within 3-5 years.
