HOLY FUCK THEY ARE TERRIBLE HAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Was something against Bank of America.
Honestly, today's "activists" are just attention whores. They do not have a cause and then decide what to do to draw attention to it, they want attention and then find some cause to glom onto so they can get people to look at them.
Also, Colts diving ever lower image related.
See, even looking at their sign I have no idea what they are purportedly upset about.
Fucking attention whores. The '60s hippies are giving you the finger from Hell even now.
There's a facility in Southern Maryland being built that will turn Natural Gas into liquid and vastly reduce gas prices while preventing the danger of oil drilling resulting in spills.
But Fracking is the new meme in activism so everyone takes everything even tangentially related to natural gas and assumes it's fracking, which the oil industry has been telling them is more dangerous than drilling (it's not) and is literally killing thousands of adorable puppies per second, or some shit like that, so they're protesting so that fracking stops killing puppies by protesting against the funding of a facility that doesn't even do that
I think they just saved at least 1 million puppies from certain death. These people are the real American heroes, not the fucking murderers in uniform committing genocide against Muslims in a race war under the guise of calling them "terrorists"
The problem is with modern tech and how lobbying has turned into a fine art, you can have 80% of the country on your side and still not get what you want even if it's reasonable. The only actual way to get results effectively these days would be act of terrorism, but Americans only talk a tough game and won't do anything. Look at all the far right gun nuts who have caches of fire arms calling for the 2nd American revolution. Will it happen? No.
Also the whole point of the stunt was to raise awareness to what was going on, which they did, so it was a success.
Ideally we'd ditch natural gas because it's not cost effective in the long run like other fossil fuels and guess what? Fracking does have a tendency to contaminate local aquafirs, so there's a damn good reasons locals are against it.
Also when are you getting your check for shilling for the oil and gas companies of america?
You're the type of faggot who protests natural gas, criticizes offshore drilling, and demands that we reduce our dependence on foreign oil all in the same breath, aren't you?
Where the fuck do you expect us to get energy from? The friction of nigger dick along the walls of your mother's pussy?
Wasn't Cove Point supposed to be an import terminal for liquefied natural gas but when fracking turned the US into the biggest gas producer on Earth it was reversed to make it an export terminal?
>"America doesn't need more cheap fuel on the market, and we especially don't need to export those resources overseas," Madrid said. "Dominion is building a facility that would contribute to the economic crisis our country is facing.
So decreasing energy costs actually hurt the general economy? Is that why the economy was so terrible back in the late 90's when oil dropped to like $10 per barrel?
The Colts will have to be awful for another dozen years to become as bad as the Browns.
It is easier to win a Super Bowl than to be bad for 20 years running. hell, it might be easier to win TWO Super Bowls than to be Browns bad.
Only a few teams have had this kind of sustained awfulness. The Bucs from 1983-1996 were that bad, but not for as long.
The Cards from 1978-2007 were historically bad, but even they made the playoffs twice.
even the Lions make the playoffs once in awhile, although they have gone stretches of a dozen years without see postseason play several times.
The Eagles and Bills, at their worst, were better than the Browns have been since 1999.
We are witnessing history. With the expanded playoffs, it is damned difficult to go 17 seasons and only make the playoffs once. The Browns have done that. They are coming up on 20 season back in the league and gentlemen, they stink.
kek this was a good shoop. thank you senpai
>tfw i literally work at a Dominion owned power station
>tfw its actually a great company
>tfw Cove Point is going to be good for earnings
>MFW they still win more playoff games this year than the Bungalos
You can be against fracking. Fracking doesn't harm the environment provided it's done right, but you're a moron if you think that oil companies have any overriding incentive to do things right.
>tfw Colts only need to go 6-10 to make the playoffs in their craptastic division
>tfw Luck will be healthy by the playoffs
>tfw the Colts become the first team to win the Owl with a losing regular season record
IM READY TO MAKE HISTORY
BEAM ME UP LUCK
You need to start watching games, bro.
