continuing my dump of GOATs I sold with no remorse just for the money
And by the way, since when do mods delete /trb/ threads? Like really now
what a cheeky cunt
we conceded 4 goals and he got a 5.6 rating
I love january, you can always just check players with 6 months remaining and bring back gold for absolutely nothing
What's going on with this shit? Sure, the TV deal is sweet, but it's not like we're that much richer than anyone else. We do have fairly low wage costs, only about half of Arsenal's, but can it really make that much of a difference?
Pretty sure the stadium is the reason. It's the same in every FM for the past 3 or so years. Regardless of sporting success, Spurs are always at the top or thereabouts is what I've noticed.
Well, gotta keep at least one nigguh for dem glorious low wages
I hate how whenever I rotate my squad I get shit afterwards about playing a weakened team
>10 winning streak and playing a really shitty team next
what's the best way to check which of your players are in the best form? like a quick way to see who has performed best over the past 5 games or so?
the "Last 5 Games" stat is kind of what I want but it shows HIS last 5 matches and not the clubs.
It's in the default selection info
>Activision Blizzard buy King Digital Entertainment, the creator of Candy Crush in a deal worth almost £4B
>Derby are owned by a large investor of King Digital Entertaiment
>tfw we buy Messi in January
You just reminded me of this image I've saved years ago.
God, the regens used to be absolutely ridiculous in older FMs
>tfw not a single attribute is below 10
While we're at it, though, I have to post this lad from 15. Goal/games ratio is through the roof.
>tfw no aldente
And re posting from the deleted thread - This is my "best youth player". I have no idea if this guy is actually impressive or will never make a side. So folks who have played more then two seasons of FM could you tell me if this guy is decent?
I think he could end up as a decent left back in the Norwegian top flight, but no more than that. When you get there you'll probably get a South American or African who's a lot better, but it's nice to have some home grown backup players.
i wonder will they add a "video analyst" staff role anytime soon. seems a bit intricate and i'm not sure what it could do beyond being a sort of scout for your own team who gives feedback. but all the big teams have them. guess it's already covered in team report
Cool - I am actually trying to run Lyn as a all Norway team right now. Not saying that I will never have a non-Norway guy but right now all my players are Norwegian.
I read somewhere, possible on the SI forum, that a high workload in the summer increases the chance of injuries. So I use a low workload in the beginning, and gradually turn it up to high.
I always let it on medium since from my understanding it mainly affects the squad's familiarity with your tactic. Since that familiarity resets every start of preseason [which is bullshit, but whatever], playing 7-8 friendlies in 5 weeks is enough to solve that problem without tinkering the workload.
that's the two teams predicted to finish 1st and 2nd rekt
so much for relegation candidates
Where did /fifa/ go? I really wanted to post this picture of a poster I found on campus.
Does it have that much of an effect? I heavily rotate my first-team squad which is composed of both youngsters and veterans [read "above 20 years old"], so they all get plenty of playing time during the season, I suppose that weighs more than the training intensity.
post american football players
do you blow a girl after she's kissed you?
You lads think this guy is gonna make it?
>people who put their tongue on the bussy
>people who eat ass
peak kek @ EBJT blowing Savage the fuck out today
got ya senpai
Remind me to NEVER EVER buy strikers form Ajax again
I need to remember that next time I see someone rather good in there.
I kinda regret selling Flavio though. He got me good money on the other hand
please be kind
I know but it doesn't work either.
I'lll just use the game ingame functionality.
We need the roles too. Try possession football if you want a higher line and work the ball into box+slower tempo. Also play out of defence+control or attacking.
>Astana actually pulled a draw against Atletico
shame we had no polish teams in CL for like 20 years now
Southern blacks name their kids even more random shit
Serious question though, why do they do it? Why can't they just name their kid something normal? Is it just a black thing, as in USA they do some Daquanisha or whatever?
This guy actually has hair like a regen.
>he doesn't want to sign a new contract
>only 1 cap
then again it looks like he picked his nationality not long ago, as he was created in AZ
That's probably a matter of formation, but if you want to pass your way into the back of the net, it's far more effective to attack through the middle and let the fullbacks provide the width.
>Real Mad keep on trying to poach my youngsters for way below their value
>I refuse their offer for one and they just send offers for 3 more
Jokes on them, they all love the club and tell me they don't want to move from the club outside of for loans.
Aside from the fucked co-owning of a player, Serie A is bretty good.
think of Suarez m9, think of our lord and saviour Suarez.
>Is it just a black thing, as in USA they do some Daquanisha or whatever?
Only have two unis--would like a third, also my away jersey is blue on dark grey so it looks like hell and I can't see a godamn thing at the bottom of the screen
You can change the graphics image when you look at club info, but without the editor you're stuck with the in match colors and shit.
Just a heads up. I can make a kit for you but I'm eating ATM.
It may be gone, but they just replaced it with a shit ton of teams getting a piece of the transfer fee due to sell on clauses, so to me they feel like pretty much the same shit.
>Sell player for 3.3 mil
>7 teams get a piece of the fee, while I get none
I'd rather just have co-ownership back to be perfectly honest. Mind you this may slowly be erased as I play on, but its awful to deal with still as of 2018 ingame.
>I don't want my strikers to bite other people so they get banned for a few matches
>implying that's a bad thing
i agree with that 3/4 of that statement
>poor little Narrich ins't around to get traumatized by SuarGOAT anymore
aaaaand there it is.
Whats up with board requests? Cant find the option to ask for improving my training grounds or do anything with the stadium.
>not loving Bale
There are two factors that could block you. Firstly, each stadium has a maximum number of seats to which it can be expanded, and this makes sense. What doesn't make sense is the hidden condition of not having a stadium newer than 20 years before building a new one. This is a really shitty system for low-league managers, as I saw myself with my multiple quintuples in England and Europe but with only 14k seats. I literally had to scum the game and modify the construction date of the stadium which was built back when I promoted to League 2 so that the board will finally agree to build a new stadium.
he scores an even better goal in that match, the half volley after he flicks it over a defenders head. one of the best goals i've ever seen and probably the best hat trick ever scored in terms of quality of the goals
Good players out the ass, cheap wages, no workrate, long ass seasons, worst agents known to man, diving, flair, horrible price money everywhere
Do you own the stadium/training ground or are you leasing/sharing it?
I did make a request to improve youth facilities wich was denied. But ive never had the stadium options and the training facilities option seem to be gone for a long time.
Ah shit, i both rent the stadium and have a feeder club to share facilities with. But shouldnt i be able ot upgrade my own anyway?
>>was bought at a young age
>>bred through Ajax's youth system
>This guy is way more Ajax than Suarez could ever hope for.
>E V E R Y T H I N G A B O U T T H I S P O S T
you do realize that Ibra started for the senior side at Malmo before he arrived at Ajax at essentially 17, right? not exactly bred through their system. Saurez played there just as long as Ibra, four seasons.
incredible vision, creativity, technique, long shots, finishing, flair, bravery, and concentration. and literally everything else.
this one. and he completed the hat trick with a free kick, which i'll post next.
>Not being top of the only table that matters
and? they must've seen some Ajax in him since the only reason he was in Holland was because he flew to Europe to be closer to his then-girlfriend, and now wife. otherwise no one would've seen him until later.
the free kick
>Bale at Spurs was just as good as Suarez at Liverpool.
aaaaaand here it is.
>Bale at Spurs was just as good as Suarez at Liverpool
no. no no no no no. no. nonononononono. NO.
categorically, unequivocally, no.
Bale made the Spuds a better team. Suarez singlehandedly transformed an entire side into a goal machine.
>Bale at Spurs was just as good as Suarez at Liverpool.
>Bale at Spurs was just as good as Suarez at Liverpool.
>Bale at Spurs was just as good as Suarez at Liverpool.
Bale made Spurs an actual contender to the bigger sides, and scores or performed in almost every important matches in played in.
Meanwhile Suarez (even though I love him) continously raped Norwich.
Yes he made Sturridge look world class, but Bale did the same with fucking Dempsey and Adebayor. AVB's only tactic was "keep the ball, pass to Bale, if it fails retry" and it actually worked.
i know it's bait, but still
>last minute winners from a mile out against shit teams after 90 minutes of anonymity
>angelic first touches
>headers from outside the box
>single handedly dragged a team to the title only for Gerrard to fuck it up
>not great first touch
>not amazing off the ball
>not great work rate
>actually good in the air
The only thing he was terrible at were tap ins.
You guys have short memories
>tfw your right back gets booked twice in the space of 3 minutes
No it's just that in football have very short memory, and if Bale was at 100% right now people wouldn't underestimate what he used to be. It's always the same, be mediocre for a few months and people say you were always so.
Nobody is saying Bale is shit, he is excellent but you're underestimating how good Suarez is. If he wasn't such a cunt he'd probably be universally considered 3rd best in the world after Messi and Ronaldo.
Lyon are the FM equivalent of a teenage girl shitting up your facebook with hundreds of relationship posts.
>If he wasn't such a cunt he'd probably be universally considered 3rd best in the world after Messi and Ronaldo.
I thought he was widely considered as 3rd best in the world.
imo, Messi Ronaldo Suarez are top 3 players in the world, with Neymar very close behind. Since Messi got injured, Neymar has been in unbelievable form
Some of you may remember me making this post a little while back, bet365 doing the same offer for Bayern vs Arsenal tomorrow and Wenger just confirmed Bellerin is out so if anyway wants to have a completely risk free bet on the Bayern match tomorrow get on it before he gets removed from the list.
Been doing this for over a year
Also, I know someone who did this and bet365 refused to repay them their £50 free bet, so do it with caution.
Another way to do it is to place pre-match bet on >0.5 goals, then place like a fiver or something with a different bookie on 0-0 (usually odds are about 10/1 so you won't lose anything if it ends 0-0)
Just like in brazil
>Another way to do it is to place pre-match bet on >0.5 goals, then place like a fiver or something with a different bookie on 0-0 (usually odds are about 10/1 so you won't lose anything if it ends 0-0)
Yeah but you're getting like tiny amounts of profit, at least that way you can bet £50 on anything and go for big bucks and break even. But yeah same, been doing it for ages and always at least been refunded.
>Also, I know someone who did this and bet365 refused to repay them their £50 free bet, so do it with caution.
desu I bet they fucked up somehow because a ton of people do it and they always refund
Paid 2mil for this lad
>missing a leftback badly in the squad
>this guy is Basque
>they won't sell him to me
fuck you sociedad
>tfw Klopp will only last until February
game wont let me advance, just goes to this screen
is this a bug?
Can anyone give me a quick rundown of the star rating system, or a link to a good explanation? Because I constantly see players with extremely good stats but have very poor star ratings. I also have players whose stars fluctuate throughout the season. Maybe I'm missing something.
where the fuck is the wonderkid shortlist m8s
I'm fookin' dyin' o'er 'ere
>tfw you manage a team for so long that you give their official page on facebook a like and you follow the results irl
It's a nice feeling to like a different team other than your main one you're following
>tfw Gent doing better than Juventus
>tfw Bossman just scored his 12nd goal of the season
Someone stop this madman
>tfw I couldn't manage to sell him so I had to loan him out
hopefully this summer
>(Innisfil, ON) Sometimes, our officers see things that are hard to believe.
>Early on Saturday, October 31, 2015, around 1:00 a.m., officers were dispatched to the Stroud Arena for a fight call. When they arrived on scene, they saw a man in costume as the Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz, being treated by paramedics. Three ladies, dressed as Dorothy, Glinda the Good Witch, and the Wicked Witch of the East, told the officer that the Tin Man had been punched by his friend the Scarecrow. The Scarecrow didn't have the brains to stick around, and ran away with the Cowardly Lion.
>Turns out the Tin Man didn't have the heart to lay charges against his friend, and refused to tell the officers anything. He was treated for minor injuries.
>Officers believe alcohol was involved.
I can't believe this isn't made up.
Should I do it? Pretty shit offer, but I'm tempted to get Musacchio in as replacement. His mentals are sweet as shit.
>Hate playing a 2 striker formation because injuries have burned me before
>Finally cave and play 2 strikers
>At least one gets injured once a month from lifting weights in training
This is my nightmare.
>tfw 3 points difference between 13th and 7th
>get shouted at by board for finishing 1 win off possible continental football
This happened in the norwegian second division last week.
In the last round every team had a chance of leaving the division either through relegation or promotion.
Argentinian league is fucking disgusting
Absolute shambles of a league organisation
>For the 2015 season, 30 teams will dispute the 87th Argentine Primera Division. Each team will play all other teams once (plus one 'rivalry match', i.e. a game with special significance for the teams involved). Teams up to the 16th position will have a chance to qualify for a continental cup in the post-season via the Liguilla Libertadores or the Liguilla Sudamericana. The Argentine Federation has already announced that the format for the 2016 season will change again, with the number of participating teams progressively reduced to 22.
>he Argentine Federation has already announced that the format for the 2016 season will change again, with the number of participating teams progressively reduced to 22
>with the number of participating teams progressively reduced to 22
>progressively reduced to 22
Jesus Christ, just relegate 8 clubs this season and be done with it.
They used to do relegation by taking an average of a teams points over the last 3 years to try and stop teams like River and Boca getting relegated.
Didn't stop River getting relegated though
>They used to do relegation by taking an average of a teams points over the last 3 years
>At the end of a season, after the Apertura and Clausura tournaments, one team is relegated to the next lower division, Ascenso MX, and one team from that division is promoted and takes the place left open by the relegated team. Currently, the relegated team is determined by computing the points-per-game-played ratio for each team, considering all the games played by the team during the last three seasons (six tournaments). The team with the lowest ratio is relegated. For teams recently promoted, only the games played since their promotion are considered (two or four tournaments). The team promoted from Ascenso MX is the winner of a two-leg match between the champions of the Apertura and Clausura tournaments of that division. If a team becomes the champion in both tournaments, it is automatically promoted.
>Your job is to avoid relegation
>Get points deducted
>relegate by 1 point after being deducted 7
>Now have to settle at a Dutch hoofdklasse club
Thanks Miles I guess, you too
>me in charge of remembering to attach pic
I'm starting to believe this save was a bad idea.
Iceland. They start at the bottom of the pyramid though, so you'd have to find a working db for the lower leagues...
>Play AC Milan, Juventus, Roma 0-0 at the half away
>Team picks up a retarded red and we lose 2-0
>Players blame my tactics for why we lost
Fucking retards the lot of them. Every red has come because they ignore my instructions and make terrible slide tackles.
He's brave enough I guess
the striker is shit though so I won't bother posting
What are your team instructions for tackling + closing down?
And/or do you have specific instructions to target an opposition player with hard tackling?
>most fouls in the league
>tactics are high line and hold shape with tighter marking
>literally have one player on tackle harder
>he's not even the one picking up cards/fouls
how does fix this?
Closing Down sometimes, and Stay on Feet
And we set instructions to force opposing danger men onto their weak foot, which works when we actually have all 11 men on the pitch.
The guy who blamed my tactics has been sent off twice for silly tackles as well, so when he tried to force his way out I said good riddance.
I have way too many DMs anyway. Pic related is one
Dude looks like a drug abuser
also, fourth and basically last
>defender passes to gk but it's too weak and a striker takes it and scores
>same defencer scores after a corner 3 minutes later
Would people be interested in a "European super league" type DB?
Was thinking like
>top 80 teams by European coefficient
>5 tier 16 team league system, 3x pro/rel
>Single match knockout cup, 1st round is 5th league x 4 th league, then winners x 3rd league, then random draw of everyone remaining completely unseeded
>4 team super cup (league winner v. league runner up) vs. (cup winner vs. cup runner up)
once the editor is released of course
>injury prone striker comes back from an injury
>put him in, scores a goal
>injuried in the same match again
how train and develop?
this lil nigga is too good desu
top professional too, he literally never complains and doesn't sulk if I deny him a move
speak of the devil, and he shall appear.
>Swedish cup in charge of being fair
>tied with a team for points
>didn't beat them in the game you played them in
>they've scored more goals than you
>they finish above you
>implying that isn't fair
