>>63319647 >>63319672 britty good when you become such a great player that if you dont score every game people think you are shit even tho almost every other player would be happy to even score a third of what ronaldo does in a season
Nobody else is as autistic as him when it comes to scoring goals, not to mention having the most expensive team in history catering to his every need.
For him and his fans scoring 5 past Espanyol and then going missing against a good side like Atletico etc. is good enough, because to them having the highest stats is enough to be the best in the world.
>>63319786 Iniesta disappears in most big games post-2010. He's just lucky he plays in dominant teams that manage to win shit on their own.
>did nuffin at WC14 >didn't influence a single big game in 2013-14 season (clasicos, 6 clashes vs Atletico Barca failed to win) >literal shit in last season's Clasicos (Godrić wiped the floor with him in both games)
On every big game he was decisive you have 4 where he failed to influence the game.
>>63319774 Don't you think it's still soon to affirm that? Neymar has clutched a few times, yes, but he didn't even have that many big games. He was great in the Libertadores and he scored consistently for Barcelona last season, but most of his goals in the UCL were given to him in a plate.
>>63319809 >Messi No. Where was he in the Copa America? Or in the 2010 WC? Or after the group stage in the 2014 WC? Where was he in the last UCL final? Also, he was shit in the 08/09 UCL final. He scored, but that pass from Xavi was simply godlike. Where was Messi against Buyern when they got BTFO back in 13/14? What about that penalty he lost against Chelsea back in 11/12? I know he has decided a few games, but he's not a big game player if he disappears in most of them.
>>63319886 You could not cherry pick harder if you tried and you couldn't even do that right >Where was he in the Copa America? Argentina's best player >Or in the 2010 WC? Maradona was the fucking manager, that goes out the window >Or after the group stage in the 2014 WC? Argentina's best player >Where was he in the last UCL final? Played a crucial role in the 1st and 2nd goals >Also, he was shit in the 08/09 UCL final Jej, I suggest you watch that game again in full, he was instrumental in Barcelona dominating United's midfield, also nice handwaving of hi, scoring the clinching goal >Where was Messi against Buyern when they got BTFO back in 13/14? He had a knee injury and couldn't even run >What about that penalty he lost against Chelsea back in 11/12? One penalty >I know he has decided a few games Oh you mean countless huge league and cup games not to mention being the best Champion's League player in history putting in dominating performances against the champions of the biggest leagues in Europe in finals and semi finals. Fuck off.
He's actually a detriment to the team at this point. In the big games it's like playing with 10 men when Real aren't in control. And in the games against cannon fodder where he scores all of his goals, they'd win those without him anyway. They should cash in while they still can.
>>63320028 I'm loving the irony of you telling me I didn't see matches when you don't realise that Messi gave Neymar a delicious crossfield ball for Barca's 1st goal in the CL final and his saved shot after a great run was tapped in by Suarez for the second. I actually watched the 08/09 final in full just this week, I suggest you do the same, Messi dropping off the front and linking with Iniests and Xavi allowed them to dominate the game, and you can't just dismiss a crucial goal scored from a brilliant header because it doesn't fit your argument. As for his knee injury in 2012, no he hadn't recovered, I'm fairly sure he missed the next game and it was obvious he could barely break into a jog, you only needed your eyes to see that. >Yeah, just one penalty Yeah, if you're the main penalty taker for a team constantly playing in big matches of course you're going to miss an important one eventually. To pick out that one example is the definition of cherry picking. I can't believe I even have to do this but here's some huge matches Meplayed well in off the top of my head Barcelona 5 Real Madrid 0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLXlvhV8cK8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Q9xCKFhFKM Real Madrid 3 Barcelona 4 (some nice penalties in there for you) Barcelona 3 Man United 1, CL final https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VoJR7GbJptg Brilliant solo goal in the CL semi final that ended up sending them to the final https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NwsFYkp_r5w Barcelona 3 Bayern 0, CL semi final, 2 goals and an assist https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kJgyTVbTVwk That's just off the top of my head, you could pick out so many more Clasicos, the games against Atletico last season, huge CL performances like against Arsenal, etc etc
>>63320097 >and his saved shot after a great run was tapped in by Suarez for the second
That play epitomizes big game deciding moment. Until that solo run, Juventus was closer to their 2nd goal and Barcelona visibly struggled with their midfield intensity (since they had numerical advantage there).
You're the thick cunt, m8. You seriously underestimate the superiority Real and Barca have over the rest of la liga. Put the sole focus on Bale or Benzema and they'd score 5 past shitters like Espanyol too.
The disparity between Real and the rest is the biggest it has been since the days of Puskas and Di Stefano. And none of the strikers they've had over the years had the whole team catered to them the way Cristiano does.
>>63320589 Yeah, he single handedly dominated that tournament with one assist (in group stages) and zero goals as Spain comfortably won the tournament scoring 12 goals. Before you spout ">muh stats" I'll remind you my point is Spain was absolutely stacked and performed brilliantly as a team. It's not solely Iniesta's effort that won them the title.
>>63320600 >he's literally the never disappear in big games played
Pedro, pls. Let me name just a few:
>Bayern semis 2012-13 >6 (six) games vs Atletico in 2013-14 (including CL quarterfinal tie and title-decider at Camp Nou) and Copa del Rey El Clasico final they lost >all WC2014 games >Confederations Cup final where fucking Paulinho wiped the floor with him
And this is only from my memory, I didn't even dig deeper. :^)
