Jack yells something unintelligible before storming out of the room. He nearly takes the iron door of the armory right off the hinges with a sickening snap. That white-haired kid and Fritelli follow, maybe to prevent him from doing something stupid. Tuile stayed behind with you in the armory.
You didn't pay attention to what Jack was saying. The way he was gripping that flask on his hip drew your brief attention. You don't know what he keeps in it, but you do know what it does to people.
You are Wihak- Your name is Kayda; angry, hungry, tired, and upset. That explains you right now. Last night rivals more miserable nights you've had since becoming Greta's servant. The evil maid, Clair, woke you up when she sauntered in an hour past midnight. Your sleep ended when the castle came under attack and stormed your room. Thankfully, you've taken to hiding a lever-action beneath Greta's bed just in case, and easily mopped up.
A lever-action which Clair took away when she realized you had it. You liked that one, too.
You narrowly escaped once again minutes ago. A group of masked men made a rush straight for you in the training grounds. The replacement carbine you found unfortunately had a single shot less than you expected; allowing one of them to grab you by the arm! You could have totally took them. It was just a fluke.
After that- "Kayda, please, it's fine." Tuile runs her hand through your long hair.
"It really isn't!" You snap back at her. She squeezes tighter around your shoulders, and your eyes meet her sleeves.
After that attack, you felt a moment of weakness and broke down in tears. Jack carried you back to the armory.
You just feel so tiny, and powerless. Like you could be crushed in an instant.
Tuile seems uncomfortable to be here. Or maybe you're just wasting her time?
>T-thanks, I'm better now. >Stay and talk a bit longer, please? >Go find another rifle closer to your liking. >Ask Tuile what to do >Maybe you should go cry in your room. >Other?

What a wonderful morning, I smile happily as I lean forward to take a sip of my coffee. Not too cold or too hot, just the perfect inbetween, a nice toasty warm. I sigh and lift my grandpa's hat up by the bite hole in the lip of it.
Well this is fixing to be a fantastic day already, the sun is up and burning bright, I got a cup of coffee to keep me from falling into the horrible dark place called sleep.... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.

What the fuck is wrong with you. Those things require literally no effort.
MTG Scrub story thread? >play a budget infect deck vs a casual play >beat him >infect is too cheap! there is no way to deal with it! its a broken mechanic! you only have to do ten damage >he starts screaming at me crying that infect is unbeatable and that I have no skill at magic >play an even more casual control deck >beat him again >he starts screaming again, saying that not playing a lot of creatures make his removal spells useless and that I am dishonorable player for not using creatures >play a garbage artifact deck against him >beat him a third time >your deck too consist! its boring playing against a deck that does the same thing over and over again! a REAL deck does something different every time and still wins!

What is the order’s religious affiliation? (1d100)
What are the NPCs like in your games? Do you have any recurring allies or antagonists that show up? Do you add previous PCs as NPCs, or bring up characters that are from one chronicle and put them in another? Who fills out your game world?
>>45323015 Best GM I've ever had >Campaigns always prepared in advance, but with miriads of scenarios and possibilities, giving complete free will while being ready for literally everything >Story is tailored for the players, instead of expectations about their characters, avoiding the dreaded "but your character should have reacted like that" mess when less skilled players are involved >Always went to great lenghts to ensure everyone had always enough free time to play and the game day was suitable for everyone >Always have complete set of notes and always remember where to search for old facts >Always fresh supply of stationery supplies for everyone >Uses a whiteboard instead of scribbling on some small piece of paper to present situation during combat >Is no actor, but still delivers as various NPCs without coming out cheesy, simply by making them distinctive characters instead of one-dimensional placeholders >If weather allows, organises the game in some interesting local site or outright makes a picnic >Game starting in the morning: makes break always half past noon, with fresh pastry and coffee for everyone >Game time in the evening: dinner for everyone and can actually cook
Shame he moved out for better-paying job on the other half of the country.
I don't understand why servitors, tg. >Artificial intelligence is prohibited under pain of execution by Imperial edict within the Imperium of Man unless a human mind is combined with it or serves as part of its mechanism >Servitors are mindless cybernetic drones created from a fusion of human flesh and robotic technology used to carry out simple, manual tasks across the Imperium of Man So they are just machines, like conveyor automation we have today. Then won't it be more effective to use simple... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.

>>45321824 The chamber is enormous- a dome nearly 25 meters tall in the center, with huge blinking and whirring towers leaning against the walls. The entire dome is lit up brightly, and strange hexagonal panels are spaced out evenly along the floor of the room- beneath the panels are hollow glass prisms, mostly submerged in the ground and filled with some kind of liquid. You cannot quite see inside of them, due to angles involved- most of them are so submerged that you can barely see inside at all. Brilliant green light shines out of the crack between panel and floor, illuminating the bottom of the dome.
The walls are all clean, albeit slightly dusty, and according to your sensors, the room is so cold that it is in the negatives, celsius. Thick cables- three inches in diameter- are sprawled across the dome, strapped down in some places left loose in others.
A long, rusty streak spans across the ground, like someone had dragged something. At the other end of the trail is a human skeleton leaning on a fully-elevated prism, its clothes rotted away by time.
A man died here. The elevated prism that his corpse is leaning against is completely empty, though it gleams with the same pulsing green light that the rest of them do.
In the center of the dome, elevated on a dais, is a single chair in front of a large, imposing terminal. On the screen itself is a mess of randomly-flickering symbols, scrolling by at speeds that your inhuman, computer-fast awareness finds hard to keep track of.
But however you look, no matter how much you try to figure it out... The symbols are just random noise.
"A-A-ACCESS GRANTED." The Architect buzzes, the voice modulator warping as it speaks. Since you've descended, it seems to be getting less and less table. The submerged prisms begin to pulse faster, and electromagnetic static begins to wash over you- emanating from the computers alongside the walls. >?
>>45321861 >>less and less table >Which is a good thing, because the Architect is not a table at all. Please do not place objects on top of the architect. Even if you use a coaster. >It is, however, getting less STABLE.
