To answer what I intended to answer before I noticed the thread had autosaged.
If the NPC stats in DH2 are balanced after a DH2 partys powerlevel FFG has done a really shitty fucking job. Because the stats of the npc's really does not follow any internal structure nor do they represent their fluff or tabletop counterparts (something they've been able to do very well in the other systems). The stats seem to be just really fucking rushed and not thought through. Because certain skills or talents an NPC should have are very often missing and their base often have outrageous toughness scores for what they are simply so they can have better soak in case a PC should shoot at them. Which to me is just shitty worldbuilding. It especially becomes apparant how terrible this is when comparing to NPC balancing of the other systems, where Deathwatch is the only one that sticks out with generally tougher enemies. Because Space Marines tend to murder shit incredibly easily. Otherwise, the NPC's of the other systems follow basically the same baseline of comparison (DH1 characters of X amount of XP generally) and that has lent to very consistent statting of NPC's across the systems.
Now, I am of the school as a GM that any NPC stats will need to be given a once over so they are appropriate for how I play games with my group and I assume everyone will atleast do the same for their own games. Because honestly, not even the old NPC stats were always to my satisfaction (or perfect), especially when it comes to higher power enemies (such as Greater Daemons and the Avatar) and vehicles. Which I'd say FFG is notoriously poor with.
And continued in the next post because of character limit.
>Any idea of a good conversion guide to make them fit into the DH2 setting?
Basically, for rules, just use the same guide used to convert PC's as the rules changes affect them the same. As for converting them to the Askellon sector, I have no idea. I run games in my own homebrew sector because FFG insists on placing their settings on the wrong end of the galaxy from where I want to run my...

nyone else a little tilted at how fucking garbage this land is?
4 mana to activate a 2/1 double stricker.
What the fuck ever happened to making manlands like stirring wildwood or celestial colonnade?
I'm not asking for another cycle of lands akin to treetop village or mishra's factory but at least make it not better design than this
Well look at how shit the U/G one was. They made all of the new cycle of lands one mana too expensive to basically make them unplayable. Basically everything the last two sets has been shit and the only reason it's selling is because of full art lands and dumbasses trying to pull expeditions.
Kroot is best xeno
>YFW Kroot are Lizardmen in the future and the Old Ones are protecting them and the Tau
>OH brave hero, thank you for saving me
>For that i will grant you one wish that is as pure as your heart
>A wish that it not greedy or selfish and has good intentions
ITT: 40k history/science is now a school subject. Post some possible exam questions. I'll start.

How extreme are the alignments, really? Does Chaotic Evil mean "deranged psychotic killer who hates the world" or "self serving guy who doesn't like rules"? Does Lawful Good mean "zealot who will give his life readily if it saves someone innocent" or "nice guy who helps the poor and pays his taxes"?
Alignments are dumb and people who play with them are even dumber.
There's your reply.
Alright first yes, alignments bad, thread bait, have you tried not playing dnd, etc.
But if you insist on using alignments, they're going to be pretty damn broad, so yes the deranged psychotic killer is will probably be chaotic evil, but so is the self-serving guy
How would you go about playing a compelling potions-seller character?
The same way you play any other compelling character. Give them a goal, put an obstacle in the way of that goal. Even if the goal is something as mundane as living a comfortable life (even this can hold alot of appeal for character who have clawed their way out of bad situations like slavery or a past filled with soldier's regrets.)
>2 would give their lives to protect you, the others will do anything to kill you.
Which 2 do you choose as your protectors? They are loyal and they hang out with you. You start out at home with your protectors. Whether you stay there or scram and go into hiding is up to you.
Grievous, predator as allies.
T-1000 and lizard as enemies.
Lizard stands no chance.
T-1000 is easily located. Composition becomes rapidly unusable with each successful strike allies have on him, and his weapons are generally useless. High heat damages the fuck out of t-1000s, after all, and plasma and lasers are hella hot.
Grievous is top tier
T-1000 is very high tier
Predator is very high tier
Slashers are shit tier
Lizard is mid tier
Aliens are low tier
Winter Soldier is between high and very high due to his weapons stockpile
Nuada is also between high and very high
I'd say the best combination is T-1000 and Winter Soldier. I don't care about WS himself but the T-1000 with that stockpile would take out all the others with ease.
What's you favorite version of a planeswalker?
>+1 makes temporary token creatures
I would make her +1: Until your next upkeep, any creature that attacks you and/or *this card* take 2 damage. :P
So, the 1.2 version of Broken World, the Kill 6 Billion Demons RPG has been uploaded.
Any Patreanons willing to share?
A pretty awesome webcomic with a cool setting and great art. A little nebulous and mysterious at times, but overall very solid.
And it's creator browses /tg/ and /co/ among other boards.
YOU MUST BE THIS TALL TO ENTER.
'Reminds me of The Dark Tower.
Continue the phrase to pass. Riches awaits.
ONLY THE WORTHY.
What blows my mind about this is that from the minute this was posted to the very moment, this entire concept has been retarded beyond belief.
No, OP, I'm not a newfag, and yes, I get it. It's a stupid joke that started forever ago just so you could make stupid ass tribal threads like this and feel like you're a part of something special.
You are not, OP. You're alone and you're stupid and you need to find something better to do with your time.
Can we talk about cool welding cyborgs instead of what a tard OP is?
Biggest question of all, industrial or contoured?
Contoured would work better, less in the way of the blowtorch hand. But industrial boxy welder cyborgs look cool as fuck.
Also, mask or no mask?
Why are orgies unhealthy for characters with psionic powers, but not magic-users?
>EXAMPLE: A 4th Level could spend 2000 GP in one day, gaining 500 experience points
Wait wait wait! You can gain XP from orgies? If I can level my character with debauchery, I ain't killin mobs for XP anymore. Fuck all this "Dungeon" stuff
>orgy, n. a wild party, especially one involving excessive drinking and unrestrained sexual activity.
Maybe they were using this sort of definition and it's the "excessive drinking" part that has deleterious effects on their brains and thus their magic brain powers?
typical orgy for a psionic
How do you like your archers?
How would I go about creating a War Boy inspired character without dying at first level? A cultist beserker that wishes to please his God through combat.
