All elves in your setting are replaced with Horatio. Alternatively, your most recently played character is brought before Horatio the First for crimes against personal aesthetics. How much better does your setting/campaign become?
>>43987333 >playing a highly vain and egotistical illusionist who wakes up early in order to spend hours, multiple, each day messing around with various outfits before settling on one Bitch, I'm fabulous.
>>43987333 In a similar vein, would you ever want to play a campaign where your character is Horatio? Would you ever play a campaign set in the Endless Universe? If so, which setting (The Death of Auriga? The events of Endless Space? The Crashed Ship of the Vaulters?) Which Endless Game faction would you like to see most in your campaign? Which would you like to see least? How would your setting be affected by the introduction of one or more race/faction, such as the Harmony, Sophons or Horatio?
Self bump because I forgot to post one of mine. I'm homebrewing a bunch of classes, for my Darkest Dungeon inspired campaign.
>Raw Abilities: Will 4, Health 4 >Skills: Fighter 2, Arcanist 2, Lore Master 3, Scholar 2, Ritualist 4, Theologian 2 >Trait: Born of Darkness — Cast out from your homeland for practicing dark rites. The pact you entered has bound you to it’s call. This tainted ancestry makes you haughty dangerous and suspect. Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
It takes off from one of the castle buttresses, circles around once, and then dives straight into the castle interior. There's a muffled slam, and then silence.
You are Jack Albator. Fierce hunter, renowned hero, soon to be slayer of dragons. There's a big one, if you've ever seen one (and you haven't). A large, scaly beast seems to have completely claimed Gallete castle as it's own. Normally, you wouldn't care about Catland. You never liked the place, and it's doubtful they would even recognize that you did anything even if you... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
After a few hours of rest (Quinn slowly walking off relative days of hog-tied imprisonment, Terra stirring fitfully on one of the workbenches,) you gather your equipment and your companions. The magma-heated forge room has dispersed the worst of the chill dwelling in your bones, and your time in the Grand Forge's surrounding chambers has been remarkably educational.
A brief wander through the Hall of Reflection confirmed that each and every door in the hall corresponds to one of the Foci on your person. The locks are all sealed tight for the time being. You imagine... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
“Your previous method of entry was unorthodox,” Zahn tells you. “This should provide a smoother transition, should you find the need to return. Take heed: it will only admit those properly initiated into the Totemist's Pact.”
>>43987416 This. One of my ideas was a sanitarium of sorts, with the corridors twisted and blocked by the insanity of the residents, and some rooms scattered with mini-bosses that are supernaturally representative of their mental diseases.
Well considering that a basic epic scale space marine battle company clocks in at just over 1000 points and that their transports are all included in that price for free, AND that a typical game of Epic is anywhere from 2000 to 5000 points... You'd need to A) be a drug dealer to pay for all your plastic crack and B) Have an additional house to use the floorspace as a gaming table.

We had a pretty good day of progress yesterday, and now we're kicking back into gear with the second part of the Living Weapon quest.
You are Brother Ivan, an enhanced human created and raised in a cult-like institution that you know as the Garden, worshiping the dual entities embodying War and Justice. Bred for just that, you've spent your very short existence learning the ways of war.
On the eve of your first mission, you've received a series of encoded messages that you weren't... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.

>>43979197 >What supplements are you talking about exactly? What do you mean? If you're referring to 1e then I'll take any and all. If you mean supplements ported to 2e, there are a lot, starting with Plundered Vaults but including many others. IIRC the main campaign is from 1e
>>43981165 I'm not certain that Night Goblins employ Doom Divers considering that they're a subterannean race and DD rely on wide open spaces. If you're including those then you'll have to find a fluff reason. You could even say that this is a NG warband that's moved to the surface on a raid and started accumulating surface knowledge/gobbos. That could leave you open to including savage orcs or other such units in small numbers later on.
>>43981389 On top of the expense and rarity of health potions they, like all other potions, have a fairly high chance of doing nothing or even proving fatal.
My group does not have anyone with the Heal skill or any kind of magic so they rely on Shallyans and physicians. I made a home rule that just because you've been sewed up does not mean you're healed, so even though you regain the wounds you're still in danger of ripping your stitches and losing the wounds again if you do anything... Hey /tg/, I want to hear about the Magical Weapons, Armor, Clothing and other paraphernalia that your party has used. Doesn't matter if they're useless or overpowered, I just want to know about the ones that your characters have owned and found a use for.
Here's one from a campaign I was in a while back.

>>43986014 My GM gave me a wand of spinning once. I could use it only once a day. It was given to me as a joke. >When you activate the wand (full turn action) you spin in place for three turns. During this time, any non-magical clothing or weapons are removed and folded neatly nearby, and you sparkle for 1d4 minutes.

-In Ages long past and forgotten the gods were want to contest each other on their personal prowess and the quality of their followers giving them instruments of divine quality for them to go out and complete tasks as a way of showing their worth.
One such god, the Hooligan God, was amused by the affair and sought to wield the hubris of his fellows to bring them low. He approached his greatest priest with the offer to do so and willingly gave his life so that his soul may live on in a ring of the Hooligan God's make and offered it to one... Comment too long. >>43986014 We actually just got a neat little artifact called the Plunderer's Plotter.
It's basically a sheet of parchment that automatically begins tracing out a map the interior of any structure the holder is inside. It only traces out the parts that the holder has seen themselves, but the real useful part is how it marks out living beings and notes changes to the structure. If I see a room with four Orcs in it, the Orcs will be marked on the map AND the map will constantly updated their position, even if... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
A very evil person might have wanted to do a very bad thing but can mess up so badly that he actually saves millions of lives from a bigger imminent threat. Like wise, actions of a saintly, but a very rigid person, in his zealous quest to destroy true evil could decimate the whole world. This should all be a part of a great story.
As alignments go, about which we don't talk about too much for a reason, I surmise that lawful/chaotic should reflect one's attitude towards organized society, while good/evil should gauge one's... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
The world around you is in sharp contrast with itself. Around you, you see the cleanness and tidiness of your hospital room: green and white walls paired with the beeps of a machine and the aseptic smell of the air. Inside you, black holes and a dark void: you don't seem to remember anything from your past, as everything blurs into a bottomless pit.
In this absolute quiet, only one thing catches your eye: your doctor is talking with somebody outside your room. The window is too small though, and you can only see him, not the person he's talking with.
Why... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
