/tg/ I DM'ed myself into a corner because I was doing it freestyle with no notes or plan. While exploring the necromancer's lair, the PC's came across a room with a coffin, pierced by six spears and surrounded by a ring of salt. It is not the necromancer, but something he has contained. What is it? What would the BBEG need to keep so contained? The PCs want to go back and open it at some point, they couldn't agree on when, though. What are some clues to the contents I can insert to try to sway them one way or another? What is in the coffin?
>>43756718 Inside the coffin is a child. She is a vampire. Since she has not had any contact with the outside world, She will be surprised when the party objects to her feeding on them. She is useless in a fight but quite the homebody. She also has a disease that makes your dick fall off if you bring it near her.
Taking as a given that the creation of Pathfinder was akin to the Protestant Reformation, when can we expect Pathfinder to tear itself apart and become dozens of fractious games with pretensions of purity?
You get into the passenger seat of Blake's car and get comfortable. Heated seats, nice. You idly wonder how much he spends maintaining this thing, and as he gets into the driver's seat you give the sound system a once over. The console looks like something out of a science fiction film, all chrome and covered in buttons. Blake smirks at you and turns the engine on, closing his door right as the music starts to play.
You cover your ears and see Blake laughing out of the corner of your eye. He adjusts a dial, and the heavy metal that had savaged your ears drops to a reasonable volume. It's not that you don't like metal, and the bass is still throbbing, but Blake's eardrums are apparently made of steel or something. You glance back at Sammy and spot her covering her own ears and whimpering. Blake puts the car in drive and the engine roars to life as he speeds away from the school.
"So Oliver, tell me about the man who saved my cousin. What do you do?"
You consider the question for a moment before smirking.
"Petty theft, free running and I recently took up staking vampires."
"You're hilarious, man. A guy like you, jumping off a roof and picking a pocket? Now I've heard everything."
He shifts into a higher gear and you find yourself almost glued to your seat. He's barely adjusting the wheel at all, but you can tell you're taking the turns pretty sharply. There's definitely magic involved, you just hope there's enough of it to compensate for his reckless and casual driving.
The Rules: Same system as Become The Dragon Quest. If you don't know what that is, it's best of three d20 rolls. I name a stat that sums up what you're trying to do, and if I don't name a relevant skill, you try to fill in the blank based on what you're trying to accomplish. “Break open the door” might be Strength based, but if you've been playing baseball after school and there's a lead pipe nearby, you could apply your Baseball skill to the roll. A 20 on the die is a crit threat, and if either of the other two rolls is 20 or higher... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
Local baker has prepared what he calls the world's largest cake. Players go on a fairly easy retrieval mission and give the large amounts of flour, sugar, and lard to the baker. 3 days later they have to fight this mysterious 20 feet tall cake golem.
You are Captain Kusajishi Riku, and your nephew Ichigo is only now in stable enough condition that you're confident he won't bleed out on the sidewalk.
As Rosa explained it to you while you were sealing his wounds with your modest skills at kaidō, Ichigo has inherited the true ability to use blut from his mother Masaki... which in this instance worked to his disadvantage. Karakura town may be unusually rich in reishi, but the living world just isn't well suited to using quincy techniques because of how little reiatsu there is even in a place like this. In Hueco Mundo or the Soul Society, his blut may have been sufficient to protect Ichigo from Byakuya for at least long enough to escape and get himself healed. But as things stand such limited and yet-untrained quincy powers were far from enough to face a Captain at even one-fifth strength.
“Your own version is a mixed blessing, of course,” Rosa concludes, unusually talkative at the moment. It probably has something to do with the fact that it's suddenly become appropriate for her to lecture you on the finer points of quincy technique.
“You utilize your own reiatsu for blut or hirenkyaku, which means that while your defensive skill is limited by the peak of your own reiatsu you need not worry about suddenly finding some of your abilities too weak to be relied upon... as your nephew here did.”
“I'm just glad he held out long enough that kaidō could help him,” you mutter, swiping your brow with the back of your wrist. “Now, I feel like I'm forgetting something...” >1/2
>>43755725 Ishida, who has lain still on the sidewalk since Byakuya and Renji left with Rukia, coughs loudly to get your attention. It seems he doesn't want to be seen begging for help from a shinigami, despite the severity of his own wounds. They're not mortal by any stretch of the imagination, but if left untreated they certainly could claim his life eventually.
“Well, well,” you reply, walking closer to frown down at the young quincy. “What have we here? After the stunt you pulled with that hollow... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
Asphalt, concrete, packed dirt and grass keep the rhythm beneath you as you keep your morning run, actually managing an extra lap this morning of your usual route. Its exhausting, but to your mind everything has been exhausting lately. That just means you need to step up your effort. Musing as you... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
After dinner, the happy experience that it was, you focused on meditation to work toward fixing the fractured golden crystal and your own fractured psyche.

Confident in the progress made, you went to sleep to dream. It was unfortunately and oddly restless, and you cannot recall whatever dreams took to you in the night as you found yourself untangling the kitten Diana from your hair when you woke up. Is that why you ran so hard this morning? You wonder that as you slowly walk back up to the house with intent upon going through your cool down stretches and do some upper body exercises.
What greets you beyond the door, however, is a strange coalescence of palatable scents and a curious sight. Your father stands frozen in the archway between the living room and the kitchen, his back to you and the front door as he leans in and around the corner and seems to twitch at the sight. Its at this point you leave your sneakers behind by the door and cross the room to stand next to your father and join him in his inspection of the kitchen.
As you close the distance, a cheerful and playful humming reaches your ears. Stepping quietly alongside your father, you silence a gasp. Koyomi is clad in one of mom’s aprons and is leaning over some already plated ‘meals’ on the table. You can’t quite see what she made, but the excess of trash yet cleaned up and assorted pots, pans, and tools left in a mess across the counter and near the stovetop makes you assume with full confidence that it is something horrible.
Before you can make a worried groan, your father raises a gentle hand and gestures for quiet. Following the command, you watch as your sister turns back toward the fridge as she caps and puts away a red squeeze bottle.
Both your own and your father’s eyes blaze wide when the plates are clear to you. Evenly golden looking folded domes of Omurice with a side of greens and cherry tomatoes. From here you can even see what she drew on top of all three of the omelette shells with mom’s fancy ketchup.
Elegant drawings of your father as Tuxedo Mask top all of them. The use of perspective really pops along the red edges the simple line drawing in which he is holding up a rose to whomever is looking down directly at the meal.
These meals, to the surprise of both of you, look exquisite. Your father’s posture and expression of resigned horror shifts to one of profound hope.
Koyomi goes to pick up the plates and move them around the table. You’ve only a snap second to make your decision.
>If she can’t see you, she can’t feed you >Push dad so he stumbles forward and catches her attention first >Go in, face Koyomi’s cooking, how bad can it be? >Write in

Information: After a successful mission which culminated in Lord Frieza being provided with labor and scientists, and the Saiyans being provided with a combat drug, Daikon was summoned by Lord Frieza, who was quite interested in his performance. After a brief meeting, Daikon returned to Planet Vegeta, where the King himself summoned him, and gave Daikon a special mission to go out into space and establish a Saiyan Empire.
Propaganda bullshit. I found in Iraq as an infantryman 2005-2006. You are better off carrying more ammo then = weight in melee weapons. I guess against a bunch of guys with AKs that don't use the sights, sure as fuck don't know how to adjust for windage and elevation with limited means of resupply perhaps melee weapons are more of an option.
