You are Urist Twelfthbay. You are the moe personification of Dwarf Fortress, and are a short, sturdy creature fond of drink and industry- in other words, a dwarf. You have the goddess of Planeptune and all things Sega bouncing around inside your braided noggin.

Borg can assimilate Nids Can Nids adapt around it? It depends. Is Tyranid adaptation a conscious act, or a reflex built into their biology? If it is dependent on conscious thought, then no. If is is reflexive, then maybe.

“And in a stunning display and grit and determination, Kat and Alvin have won the match!”
You walk off with Devon. Once you’re clear from the crowd’s view you head directly to the Pokemon center. The league has many, spaced all over the place and with very alert and ready staff. They take your Pokemon and quote only a few minutes. The nurse, seeing your face and apparently not the match, assures you your Pokemon will be fine.
“That was an interesting match.” You turn to see Robin’s mom. She’s wearing a wide brimmed hat and large sunglasses.

When it comes to stating guns, which factors need to be detailed and explicit, and which ones can be abstracted? What factors are mandatory for you to feel invested in the gun-play? Which factors could you care less about?
Most importantly: which aspects of the firearm effect which gameplay factors? Capacity - obvious Reload Speed ? Just removable mags vs. internal, or is more detail needed? Range? Just barrel length? The bullet effects effective range, but do we want to get that detailed? Even so, what factors of the gun it's self factor in on... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
>>43630418 Twilight 2013 did it well. Caliber Capacity Damage Penetration within and out of optimum range Optimum Range and Maximum Range Rate of Fire Speed to use the weapon (Hipshot, Snapshot, Aimed shot) Recoil Bulk Weight
They're all important stats to how the game plays, and they all make each gun feel atleast a bit unique.
Gonna stop you right there, OP. Sounds like you're asking for universal one-size-fits-all concordance between all of /tg/. That's not going to work.
Some faggots want everything detailed because they want to RP an operator operating operationally and revel in the /k/ness of the game. Other faggots want everything abstracted to get it out of the way so they can describe badass Matrix/John Woo/Equilibrium gunplay moves and revel in the coolness of their character. Most faggots want something in between those extremes, but god help you on trying to actually... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.

After all that, you finally managed to get back to your ship and relax for a little while doing a some research. Up until Leo, your second in command, went a little haywire with the food dispenser. On the bright side, you managed to make a small diorama of the Cerberus Research Lab you plan to attack out of bacon strips.

I'm going to hesitantly make the topic of today's thread Supernatural Terrorism, in light of the events going down in France. WoD is often known for (mis)handling such weighty subjects, and I'm curious how they've shown up in your games. Have you had Sabbat suicide bombers? Has anyone tried to break the Masquerade or anything like that just to deal with an enemy?

>>43629959 I've seen suicide bomber Hunters trying to kill massed meetings of supernaturals.
I've also once had a group have to resort to disguising their own bombing of a vampire meeting as a terrorist attack. Turns out the building had no gas pipelines which could be blamed for their Gas-Bomb, and an odd dozen innocent bystanders died as a result when the explosion was of a greater magnitude than they intended.
I've had stigmatic techno-terrorists in my Demon game. I kind of stole it a bit from the Smiling Faces from Killer 7 mixed with body modification. They target churches, museums, monuments, etc. Anything tied to the past, to history. Erase our connection to the past and all that remains is to embrace the future.
Just think what just one proficient Acanthus mage could do prevent terrorism, or the destruction that could be caused by just one proficient Obrimos (and virtually no one would be able to recall it was magic).
If supernaturals engaged in major terrorism, or were heavily involved in law enforcement, security and the military, either terrorism would be greatly curtailed or far more bloody.
Marcel shoveled the last piece of earth onto the grave. She was buried with all his failures to save her. He had shaved his head in the tradition his people, but felt no lighter. Inside their home the Alchemist had a noose waiting for him, but no amount of drink could take him to it. So he sent a letter to the guild for some high risk/high pay work and waited. After eight days of staring at the rope a response came with another letter. Marcel's friends had noticed his request and demanded that he took someone familiar with him on this quest. Belief shapes the 40k world and warp. Those who believe in the emperor strong enough become empowered by him, such as the SoB and their saints, becoming manifestations of their own belief empowered by the Emperor.
Could the Admech belief in the emperor being the Machine god have a similar effect? Or could the Emperor start taking on aspects of the machine god?
Can the emperor speak to machine spirits? Or even that the Admech's belief makes the machine spirits real (and not just ai)?
>>43629741 >the Emperor is indeed what empowers these things. Did he every empower anyone like this before he ascended? Because that would have been another nail in the shitty coffin of "no I'm not a god really, this flaming sword was from dad"
