Excellent. Just download GW´s "how to fold a space craft" and you can actually do that with the box that came with the lizards! Now you got yourself a cool looking space craft to go with you're space lizards, and go "Whrryyyyy" when ever you enter a table!
In all seriousness though (thats as far as possible from AoS as you can get), no, It seems like a good start.
Every Monday the group comes together at a very secret location. Their task: Collate a never ending stream of green boxes into a coherent collection. Each file is played out as a one shot with throwaway PCs as specified in the green box's history. Then they write a report, give a recommendation, and hand the file off to more competent people they do not know.
In context an image forms that implies the Cult of Transcendence driving mankind insane enough to make a play for a place at Azathoth's court, but that isn't important. It could be any end of the world.... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.

Well, if you look at each of the component Final Revelation adventures, each 'contributes' slightly towards the twist, though in a way that the GM might be the only one to fully appreciate.
I think what you could do is take the November 12 1937 thing repeated over and over again? Perhaps this recurrent date is when the play was performed or when it was drafted? It's a good lead - having the date repeat over and over shows its importance.
Sexual horror: undoubtedly potent, and used both overtly and subtly to great effect in literature, cinema and even video games.
But honestly, for a moment - can it be done in tabletop roleplaying? I mean, I can think of a few games which include (or at least claim to include) themes of sexual horror but can anyone here even remotely imagine a real-life gaming group which would be able to deal with the subject without things going a billion ways of wrong?
It's Friday, so you know what to do /tg/ - the Storythread is back again and in need of your writing. The spookiest day of the year is almost here, so this week anything Halloween related is particularly appreciated (but not required, though).
If you have /tg/ related stories to post, post them here, and maybe some kind anon will give you feedback (or at least acknowledge that someone did actually read it, which let's face it is what writefags really want).
If you don't have a story ready then I and other anons will be posting pictures throughout... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
Skrritz of Clan Eshin was not a patient rat. He did not like waiting. In Clan Eshin famed for it's oblique and subtle approach to warfare, this should have been something of a handicap. A trainee assassin of the Eshin would be expected to be able to find a suitable tunnel or hole and there wait motionless for days until their target passed close enough for them to strike. Skrritz had passed this test, of course - failure is the deadliest poison of all, went the Eshin saying - but he had hated every minute of it. His wiry, almost skeletal frame, bespoke the sort of neurotic energy that gave rise to numerous tics and twitches. Indeed, he had come close to cutting his tail off at one point just so that he wouldn't have to deal with the thing wriggling around behind him like a worm on a hook. No, Skrritz was not a natural talent when it came to the Eshin's favoured combat tactics.
He made up for this deficiency by being very, very deadly.
As numerous rivals had discovered over the years, all that pent up energy meant that Skrritz was blisteringly fast even by Skaven standards. The ratmen, even in clans less stealth oriented than Eshin, always regarded speed and cunning more highly than brute strength. Skrritz had therefore risen high in the ranks of Clan Eshin, with his snake-like reflexes complimented (though not overburdened) by a certain degree of vicious intelligence. Ultimately, attitude was far less important than results - the only result that any Skaven cared about was that the enemy was dead and they weren't. And there was trail of corpses that could stretch from one end of the Under-Empire to the other that testified which side of that equation Skrritz was on.
Or opportunities, depending on which way you looked at it. As with any trade, the more an assassin succeeded the greater the rewards - and the harder the tasks he got given. The Masters of Clan Eshin had handed him some dangerous assignments before, naturally, but lately Skrritz had been starting to wonder if they were actively trying to kill him. Or rather, since all Skaven wondered this about every other Skaven all the time, it would be more accurate to say that Skrritz was starting to wonder if they would... Comment too long. Are the efforts focused on Rapture, or are people interested in taking advantage of Bioshock Infinite's expansion of the setting? I think there's a lot of room for interesting RPG campaigns if you take similar themes and the anchors, the Girl and the Lighthouse. I have a vague idea for one, if sharing it would be relevant to the thread?
For an eternal heartbeat the world pauses as all eyes go to the long ribbon of shining steel in your hand, the sullen gleam of the sodium lamplight playing down its length. You're as surprised to see it as they are; so you all reach the same conclusion simultaneously.

Welcome to Banished Quest! You take the role of a young mage labeled a criminal by his people and cast out into the wider world. In the last thread you wiped out the last of the void creatures and got accused of being a filthy degenerate.

The soldiers nearest you stare at you with a mix of horror, disgust, confusion, and disbelief. None move to attack you, for good reason. You're wearing armor and wielding weapons most of them could only dream of owning. You're about to try to put their fears to rest when a man's voice calls out from the back of the mass of soldiers, carrying over the muttering of the crowd.
His accent is distinctly rural, his words slurring together in a manner hard to make out. “Didja hear that? She say he's her lover?”
Another voice, this one powerful... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
Her declaration starts the crowd chanting 'Matha' with all the vigor of apprentices trying to goad their poor, unfortunate victim into some humiliating task or another. Much as you might be irate with your brother, being pampered for nine days really doesn't sound like that bad an experience. By the same token, you'd like to get back on the road in the near-future. Taking more than a week off to be pampered by attendants isn't exactly conductive to making progress.

Welcome to A Song of Revenge and Gold: House Malroy Quest. In which you take the reins of a House of storied glorious past since Aegon’s Conquering, but whose fortunes have taken a turn for the worse in the doom that Robert’s Rebellion brought. Taking place in 284AC a year after the Rebellion has ended you are Brynden Malroy, second son to Lord Vamos Malroy and Lady Esemella Hayford and the last living heir to Steadhold and House Malroy.
House Malroy is a pre-genned House designed around the idea of a story within the Crownlands of a House fiercely loyal to the Targaryens... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
The fires in Steadhold’s hearths burnt fiercely, attempting to combat the chill another summer storm had brought in. You stop a moment, your monthly ritual of clearing the great hall with a step interrupted by a thought. Emerald flame reflects in your eyes as you stare into the fire, it crackles and bites into a fresh log fed by one of your servants. The past month had brought so much, you had not thought to return from King’s Landing with the weight of gold burdening your caravan. The trip home had been slowed by the carefulness Dontos had shown, he did not wish to bring... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
You place a hand on Mason’s shoulder when he comes to you side fully, he was wearing a cloak of black otter pelt and it felt smooth against your hand, he slips his own onto your shoulder and you stand watching the fire for a quiet moment before he speaks in a harsh whisper, “We’ve yet to hear word from Illiad, Asher and Sallo, they should have arrived by now.” Your brow furrows and thoughts turn to your Myrish companion, in truth you did not know whether or not to expect word from him, perhaps he wished to keep a lower profile while he was in Essos? He had not spoken... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.

“Why do we fear them so much?” you ask sharply. In the shadowed confines of this little cell your long-buried irritations are itching harder than ever, worming their way to the surface. “They came back for us, didn't they? Either on their own, or because we called them, and they answered. If we can't trust them, why are we making them fight our battles? We draw chalk circles around them and put up “No Unauthorized Personnel” signs and then we go 'gee gosh' when they go bugshit and we never noticed the signs? Does that rea-”

[X] She's not a child. Just make it clear that her volunteering scares you.
You snatch your hand off Arizona's shoulder guiltily. Reclining in your creaky office chair, you try to project an air of casual nonconcern which seems to slide right off Wilson's hard grey gaze. “You know what you're doing,” you say to the air over the table. “But...”
Arizona's hands are folded before her on the table again as she looks straight ahead, sitting straight with military composure. Some vague jumble of officious objections with phrases like “risk management” and “sure bets” come to your lips, but your voice fails even as you draw breath to speak them. Everyone knows the time for caution and half-measures is behind you, now - you were arguing as much yourself not a minute ago. Everything you know about command, about leadership and *especially* about covering your ass in a highly political meeting with the CO of 7th fleet itself looking on screams against being too honest, but you can't force the lies past your lips.
“... I just wish you wouldn't,” you say quietly.
Arizona's gaze flicks sideways at you for a heartbeat, then away. She lowers her eyes to her clasped hands on the tabletop and squeezes them a little tighter.

You are Ur'shal, Chieftain of the Stonetusk Clan and Warlord of the Wastes. The assault on the dragon cultist compound in the jungle has gone well, and while there have been some unavoidable losses you have had nowhere near as many deaths as you'd been prepared for. Your Stormhorn riders have demolished the wall and your orcs have swept through the outer compound, cutting down or subduing the cultists, including a few of their lamia leaders.
All that remains is the large structure at the compound's centre, which you are guessing is some sort of temple.... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
