Hey, im the anon who had a thread about dragons and such. Then took acid and went on a shopping spree. An anon asked for pics when I got my stuff, so here is the mega blocks dragon, the revoltech tigrex, and the mcfarlane game of thrones blinde bag dragon, I had ordered the deanarys figure that comes with a baby dragon but the guy on ebay never messaged me or shipped it at all. Had to get my money back I have another ordered.
I have had these figures for over 20 years my uncle gave them to me when I was little. Can someone please tell me where they are from. I have been wondering that ever since I got them. All they say is hasbro 1990 to 1991
I always see iron man toys being produced and i want to understand what makes one better than another. To me they look almost exactly the same with some MINOR cosmetic differences. I understand articulation discrepancies but I hear people always talking about the "best suit" which I don't get. Please explain what the differences are in terms of sculpt/accessories/what-have-you that makes one iron man better than another (in your opinion)
>tldr; What's the fucken big deal between different iron men.
Owned two of them, when the first broke the eBay seller gave me a replacement, broke that one too. Was too pissed to bother messaging the seller so I threw the figure in the trash after breaking the rest of it's limbs off in a fit; still want one and I have seen the Chinese ones, not sure if they're any good or not. I doubt it.
I am trying to find the Chinese manufacturer of a brand of diecast model aircraft I've come across in the Philippines. All I know is they are made in China -- that logo is the only slightly identifying item on the box. I want to see what other options this manufacturer has. I'll post images of the box below.
>>5642257 I'll be honest and probably get cruicified, but reddit's anime figures sub is great for previews. They have shit taste but they regularly have posts with a whole list of info on new announcements and releases
>>5641626 I have the Tifa one and it's kinda cute. Comes with a little Chibi Red XIII, two bodies and accessories etc. If you're into the cutesy toys like this, they're not bad but really they're just little tiny statues.
I usually see em for around 20 bucks, sometimes more, sometimes a bit less. But generally 120 for 6 isn't outrageous if you want said 6 characters.
I have Squall and Rinoa. They're cute but just don't expect too much out of them. They have fairly limited articulation, similar to a Nendoroid, but they are smaller. Also, be careful with the stand pieces, the arms can bend if you ham hand them.
The woman I'm interested in has two boys (haven't met them yet), she says they both like Spiderman. Is there any particular toy version a seven- and nine-year old would like that I should look for there?
>>5640591 >originally didn't really care about Transformers >see people mentioning him as a "good" toy reviewer >start watching his stuff to see what they're talking about >suddenly really interested in Transformers
I think it's just refreshing to hear somebody talk about toys and sound really excited for a change. You can tell when he's disappointed with part of... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
McFarlane - "Order our shit and yknow, well, maybe we'll include that articulation thing you keep crying about, to some degree, later on in development, if you're lucky and our profit expectations still allow it"
>>5639154 McfArlane only avoids articulation based on how obvious the joint will be.
That said, they seem to be as articulated as their Halo figures. How many PoA it will have, we really won't know, since McFarlane only counts the joints and not the actual points of articulation. So the revoltech-type joints they've used in the past they count as just one, despite the fact it has 3 PoA.
This is probably the first transforming robot toy I ever owned. Iv'e had it since I was 4 (im 21 now). My redneck neighbor literally dug it out of the dirt floor of his shed and gave it to me. I Just got a new shelf and was putting out my transformers, then this guy popped up. It it from a show or something, or is it just a stand alone toy?
I'm a VFX artist for films and one project I'm working on requires large-ish, custom built, spaceship models. Scale isn't too important as long as the models are very detailed.
What I need are lots and lots of "model kits", you know the plastic ones with all the individual pieces you glue together, so that I can kitbash something together.
I have absolutely no idea where to find said model kits, I live in london but i'm guessing it would be cheaper to buy them online. As cheap as possible would be... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
>>5636874 I'm more of a lukewarm fan myself. I only collect a few select models, like the Fig Rig, Rockster, Humvee, and classic cars new in the Splinters like my OP pic, especially those Veolicty X ones. I also get ones that catch my eye in a really cool way.
The only recent new ones I got were the red rescue Humvee, the Gazella GT, and the HW Formula Solar.
Wasn't there a solar powered Hot Whrels car from 2008?
So, it seems like every few months there's a thread like this that gets put up. Are there any good tumblr, instagram, general toy related blogs to follow? Feel free to suggest ones you follow and share your own.
>>5636578 Well if you end up following a bunch of good pages on instagram, tumblr, etc. you end up with a fairly fresh feed of good photos to kill time going through. Though personally I'm looking for a good mix of anything toy related.
>>5636578 >but how many toy pics do you need in your life? Maybe some people enjoy seeing creative toy pictures. Anyway, who follows just toy blogs? Ideally if it's instagram, you follow a broader range of accounts.
