Where to buy second hand: >eBay/Amazon - only if you hate having too much money. Avoid Latvia. >Mandarake - search 武装神姫 and don't trust listing images (they sometimes get mixed up). >Yahoo Japan Auctions - same kanji as above, you'll need a proxy, try Yokatta, Noppin, or FromJapan. >Taobao - search... For sculpting: use 2-part epoxy putty like Aves apoxie or fixit.
For tools: try a basic carving/sculpting set like the kind arts & crafts stores have. Dental tools have also been said to work well. Also, using a Dremel is recommended. Minimites (the small $20-25 ones) are fine for starting out, but the battery life is poor. Upgrade to a corded one only if you want to get deeper into customizing. They are useful for stuff outside of the hobby though, so it's a good investment regardless.

I'll start with this. It's Nisa from Hyperdimension Neptunia. I got the basic form set up since her body design is simple enough, just have to fill in some details. Going to start on her distinctive gloves and boots today.
This seems to be a character NECA cares about which means he'll be sublime. Their vidya figures are usually bare minimum requirements but their AC ones were elder god tier, and this looks to be that quality.
I'm fucking pumped. If this does well that could mean DMC3 dante down the line at some point which would basically be the greatest thing ever since the only two offerings for DMC3 dante are an outdated revoltech and glorified statue.
I know this is old like last year but still I find it surprising how so many people fall for this Mr Gold fake and clearly think its the real deal. It makes me feel bad if some old person or someone who doesnt know any better gets it for their kids or something.
so i noticed today that the clothing left some really nasty marks around the thighs and i'm a little bit at a lost on how to remove them? (they really seem to be permanently marked) google recommended to buy an acne cream (oxy) but i dont think they sell that in AUS, so i thought i'll try my luck here as well... any other fellow anons had the same issue?
Hello /toy/. New to buying figures, I've been looking for a good skeleton figure. I saw someone here had a Revoltech Skeleton from Jason & the Argonauts, and I've been looking around online but the only place I've found them in stock for anywhere near a reasonable price is Amazon (£35, but not including any possible customs and also not tracked?). I found one on Mandarake but it was out of stock. I guess because the figures are so old it might be a while before it ever gets restocked.

>>4373633 Skeleton Warriors from the 90's are getting a reboot in the style as Power Lords/Glyos (as in they have Glyos joints which are compatible with a bunch of stuff.) It's done by Four Horsemen too. They're way more fantasy than what you posted though.

>>4371425 Holy shit I had that. Loved it so much. I can't remember much about Power Rangers(that's Power Rangers, right?) but I'm pretty sure I had a massive one that's like a train or some shit, then it turns into some massive mech once you transform it. Do those things go for a lot?
