>>5408367 >Also there was a toy of Lex Luthor in power armor, so that's confirmed. No it doesn't. Movie toylines do this all the time. Dark Knight had Deathstroke, Avengers had Skrulls, Captain America had Bucky Cap.
Anyone on here have experience with the mcfarlane akira figures? I don't know anything really about mcfarlane other then they have pretty shitty figures. I want akira figures but the only other options are the RAH ones which are stupid as fuck expensive.
They're products of their time, so the sculpts will look less crisp compared to modern figures or statues, but for the $20-30 price range, you're getting a decent looking representation of the character. Kaneda's bike is probably the one that has aged the best out of all of them, but the statues themselves are pretty decent even by today's standards. I'd say go for it if you don't mind a static figure.
super poseable but I find they have a hard time holding onto things.
Also the few I have, have an issue where their hands fall of their joints when you try to rotate them. I don't mean their peg falls out of the whole, I mean the joint comes apart. Which makes it sort of annoying to me.
Has anyone here got any experience of whitening yellowed plastic on old toys? I've just bought some old Power Rangers stuff, but the plastic is pretty yellow in some places. I've heard of people using Bleach, Hydrogen Peroxide etc, but I'm worried of doing some kind of permanent damage. Is Retr0Bright any good?
>>5407796 >>5407806 Basically the same thing. Be warned this fix doesn't work forever though. You'll have to redo it after a while and every time, it'll take a shorter period to yellow. It'll also make your plastic more fragile.
>>5407301 Upcoming Astrotrain will be much better than the sentinel General consensus is that CW Prowl is the best of that mold Nightbird > arcee It's late so I can't think of much more, but I fucking love the beast prime Megatron and Ratchet way more than their first molds.
>>5406869 If you have the money there are some decent 1/6 figures floating around, if not NECA are still sometimes doing the horror characters. They just released 2 versions of Freddy Krueger so they're still doing some.
The thing that I liked about Movie Maniacs is that they were in a time before I really kept up with toy releases so the assortments were usually a surprise, it was nice to see a movie I wanted toys from show up in the new line up. I used to buy them at a Babbages in the mall, back before Gamestop took them over or at least before they fell in line with the Gamestop business model. It was across from a Cinnabon, to this day I can't pass a Cinnabon without thinking of looking at awesome late 90s toys.
