A few years ago, I brought a very expensive yo-yo. I did tricks at "expert" level. Some time passed, life got busy and I completely forgot about it. Recently I found my yo-yo, bought new string and started. However, it isn't responsive at all anymore. I do not know the exact name of the yo-yo, however I do know the design is butterfly. So of course it isn't going to come up by just moving my hand. I did the trick to make it come up (forgot thst name too), and nothing happen. I did some research, but it doesn't seem like anyone can give me a straight... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
>>5405021 you sir are thinking of a bind and you need more lube, which ironically does the opposite of what you think it does. the lube will increase the responsiveness of the bearing, although a dry bearing should still be somewhat responsive. What yoyo is it if i may ask? if its been a while since you used it the response system may have given out

What, dear anonymous friends, is the best Boba Fett in the 6" scale? I have the Black Series Boba Fett, but he's looking somewhat.... Inadequate next to the SHF Luke I just purchased. He's my favorite Star Wars character, so I want the best. The Revo seems meh to me. Why no proper SHF release? Why no 6" ROTJ version from any company? I love the ESB version as much as the next guy, but it's feeling a bit over saturated.
>>5404595 ive only been cubing for 2 weeks and I picked up a yj yulong. i just order a zhanci, weilong, aolong, and FangShi ShuangRen a few minutes ago though so I have a few options to choose from to decide what best suits me, what have you been using?
>>5404382 I don't see the problem, aside the giant clusterfuck It's not like they're blocking the viewing screen and TVs really don't give off anything harmful except for heat, and most flatscreens today don't produce enough to cause damage.
I posted this on /m/ but I'm getting less than helpful comments
Help! I just bought an MG Hyaku Shiki ver2.0! I tried shaving the nubs like usual using a sandpaper (low grit then finishing with high grit) but I kept shaving off the gold plate instead! Help! I don't like nub marks on my gunpla, looks like a peasant just built it!
>>5404228 Hyaku Shiki is under-gated, non of the nubs should be visible or terribly obvious. Unless you go crazy on the sandpaper you should be fine, I'd recommend just knifing the nubs away for minimal impact anyways
Hey, everyone. It's been a while, hasn't it? I hope 2016 is off to a good start for you! Now that the holidays are over and life has settled down a bit, I thought it might be a good time to build together.
Tonight's set comes from a new player in the interlocking building block game: Kids Create, a sub-line of the confusingly-named brand Papercraft. Although there are no catalog numbers or set names, there were two other sets being sold at Family Dollar under the "Star Riders" theme.
>>5404017 Look up the review on Jangbricks. From the waist up, its pretty decent. The legs have no knees, though. Lego has been making most of their large mechs like this: only enough articulation in the legs for them to pose.
If you want to build lego mechs, the basic build for the torso can be reused, especially since it has a built-in "punching" action with the rubberband that connects the back and butt of the mech. My recommendation if you want to build stable, poseable and very articulated mechs, use clicky joints.
Hey guys, I figured if anyone would know, it'd be you. Is there any value to these old as fuck toys.
My wife recently aquired them from her parents, she had them when she was a kid.
Obviously the tower was bought at big lots for 1.99, but it was close to 20 years ago. I actually found it on an antique auction website but I can't find it again. But I know it's not made anymore. (If anyones curious, it's an old jenga pretty much, with way too small, way too light, hallow plastic pieces. Its hard as fuck to do. The other one is stacking little... Comment too long.
