I wonder if PE will make a second kit for Bruticus.
I know they didn't for Defensor, and I don't own any protectobots so I don't know if he had problems a second kit would have fixed (calling the black hands and feet his first).
don't have Onslaught yet but got the others. Blastoff and Vortex are terrible and beyond help, short of a new head for Blastoff, and Swindle's fine as is. Brawl could really use some help, a filler of some sort.
Man, this thing was disappointing.People hyped up Mezco's One:12 stuff like crazy, and I finally buckled down and got Batman. I expected at least a basic Figuarts level figure, but what I got felt more like a dressed up NECA figure at best, and a DCUC at worst. The production itself is very nice. Great box, great stand and armature set up. The costume itself is welldone, especially the cape. But the base figure itself is nothing to write home about.I've been spoiled by what I expect from import figures, because it feels stiff as hell. The ankle rockers feel incredibly... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
Anyway, yeah there's definitely some great design differences between American figures and Japanese ones. I live in a country where marvel legends and black series figures cost as much on the shelf/online as it would be to get a figuarts/figma online (you'd need to have more money than sense to get those in person) so from my perspective they're both in the same price and quality range, but overall the American ones are always lacking.
Sadly i don't have that figure... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
>>5395705 So Disney could get money from toys directly. Less money split between them and Hasbro. In malls, the Disney store is starting to be the only game there is when it comes to toys.no other real toy outlets exist, except for maybe Targets and Wal-marts connected to malls.
Hell, for a while these elite figures were getting big release events in the morning. you had to camp out for them and reserve them in advance.
>>5395432 It combines happy childhood nostalgia with the visceral sensation of purchasing something for yourself, which makes you feel content because it reminds you both that you are provided for and that you are capable of providing for yourself well enough to afford "small" luxuries like toys. Also, unlike more abstract purchases like video games, fancy meals, or movies, it's not typically linked to a one-time experience, so you can pick it up and get those sensations over an over at will.
TL;DR, it... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
>>5395451 I actually started collecting because just saving money without doing anything with it other than saving it was getting me incredibly disillusioned and made it feel like I was working for no reason.
Have you assemble an undead army for your Dead Master figma?

I know this will most likely not happen but I would really like to see S.H Figuarts or Figma figures of Tom & Jerry, it would be really cool putting them in different poses and such along with other characters.
The last Kyoani figma were the Free! boys. Apparently despite the popularity of the show they still didn't bother making the whole team. And fujos don't seem to be very up in arms about it.
Every show they did since was based on some obscure manga, which never bodes well for getting early merch. Most figure companies only prep themselves for new shows if the manga it's based on is big. Like how One Punch Man got a figma announced before the show aired.
