>In 1982 Remco produced the Crystar action figure line based on the concept for the comic book series. Crystar and the forces of order were designed to appear to be made of crystal, and Moltar and the forces of Chaos, lava. Seven individually carded figures, four mini playsets (each with an exclusive figure), two dragons (each with an exclusive figure), two catapults and one castle were produced.

Why don't toys have specific release dates? Movies, music, and video games all have exact dates where you could go to the store or go online and they'll have it in stock pretty much everywhere. but with toys it's more of a release month and even then your local stores probably won't have it until months later because fuck you that's why, but then if you go online you can find it sometimes before release. This seems to be a problem especially with Marvel Legends. Why can't toys have a specific release date where all toy stores get them in stock?
Because toys are a bigger pain in the ass to manufacture, pack, and ship than the latest tripe by "Adele" and are shipped to tens of thousands of retailers with no idea how they'll sell or how quickly, so why bother trying to meet some street date only the adult collector market, which toy companies loathe, cares about
That would be nice. However I doubt it'd work in the long run. Places order on a need more basis. If things worked like that and came in at a specific date, I'm sure we'd have either too many peg warmers or some people would just not order any stock due to too much stuff that the time.
Seriously. Online retailers that market to collectors have their shipments and releases more rigidly managed, but your local stores couldn't give a shit about that demographic. They manage their toy departments for kids.
Toy collectors, even in today's supposedly NerdsRKewlest culture, don't (and shouldn't) get any special attention like guaranteed retail release days. Not to mention, if there were such a thing, it would only make it easier for scalpers to schedule and you'd be in an even worse position.
Hey guys, its my first time here so pls be nice. I'm really wanting to buy a nice Kylo Ren figure, I like his costume design the best out of any star wars character, or probably any character period. My sister got me one for christmas and its really cool but it isn't exactly what I was hoping for. It's pretty big (about as tall as a Barbie doll) and is all plastic, no cloth. It doesn't really move or pose very well. I like it a lot but it wasn't what I imagined when I said I wanted a really nice Kylo figure.

Holy hell, how do you guys deal with this? I just spent 3 hours looking for a piece of a brand new figure I bought(it fell on the floor of my room) and the only conclusion I can reach is that is somehow fell through the grate and into the vent nearby.
I even tried mcguyvering that shit with a tape measure and some tape stuck to end to fish around in there. Will Bandai-tamashii send you replacement parts if you ask them/pay for it? Such a bummer.
>>5391440 If it's a Bluefin product, you might have some luck. They have a customer service form for replacement parts. They just ask for the serial number on the sticker that they put on their products.
If it's imported from Japan, your gaijin ass is out of luck and you'll need a proxy. Long story short, to deal with Bandai Japan you need to go through a proxy service (like Rider Proxy) with a physical address of some kind on Japanese soil. They'll contact Bandai and get everything sorted, you pay... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
>>5391554 amiami used to be able to occasionally hook people up with spare parts, but the system got abused and they've pretty much dried that well up. You might want to try contacting them anyways to see if they'd be able to help, you never know.

Hello /toy/, I'm hoping you guys can help me out. My Uni is going to be hosting Humans vs. Zombies soon and I'm wondering if you can suggest some real powerful/useful water guns for my team to use. A question we have is: is electric better than pump? Thanks
>>5390344 I remember when TF deluxes were $7. I remember when ML's were $8. I remember when Walmart was the Toy store/dept killer. I used to buy toys because they were simply cheap. I hardly cherry pick those lines anymore
