If I have five toys grouped together do I get a choice of which ones? Because I'm torn between deciding on Skywarp of Megatron. I'm still screwed because of other Transformers, a handful of Marvel and DC figures, and Legos. All the Legos.

Well, Megatron is megafucked if he has just show powers and everyone else has their own powers, unless he gets to pull black hole heart shenanigans and start sucking enemies in/dousing them with antimatter.
If it was toys VS toys though, he might win. He actually... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.

Where to buy >GSC Online Shop - some figmas only are available through their online shop >Amiami - usual place for buying, to some people, shipping is a bit higher due to packaging >Hobby Link Japan shipping is usual lower, but their prices are a bit higher, private warehaouse is available >Hobby Search Japan - items stay in stock the longest >Mandarake - search figma or フィグマ >eBay/Amazon - only if you hate having too much money. Never gotten a hero masher before, but Thanos looked really nice so I picked him up. I love the idea that I can slap his arm on to other guys to give them the infinity gauntlet. Though I got no one else yet. I may have to grab some other guys to swap stuff around with.
I have some Tamashii Act 5's. They have a super thick, heavy ratcheting arm as the default arm on the base. You can then plug in a slender, regular friction joint arm. It comes with two "claw" grips. I have these because I collect Transformers, which are pretty chunky and need a big-ass ratcheting arm to hold up some of the bigger figures.
You get 3 bases and enough arms/extensions/claws/etc for each of them in each box.
Recently we've had Monster Fighters, Batman, Scooby Doo, Ghostbusters, Halloween Minifigure Series and let's hope with Fantastic Beasts coming we will get more Harry Potter sets. Do you have any ideas for another wave of Spooky sets?

Accidentally posted this on the old thread, didn't catch the new one right away:
Anybody else having flimsiness problems with Ultron's shoulders? Would you recommend just locking the movement of the first ball (the one that goes to the torso) shut with super glue to improve stability?
Also, any tips on handling that nightmare of a hip joint system would be much appreciated.

How does anyone collect ANYTHING over here? The prices are all jacked up, and the only viable way to get imports is to have to pay a premium VAT and import tax on top of shipping.
I have no intention of moving my stuff over here, nor do I intend to actively buy things here (I have some preorders that I won't be able to see until I go home for the holidays). I'm just legitimately curious as to what people do here.
>>5942782 Yeah, it stings a bit. I have to pay an extra £20 just to receive my stuff sometimes. Fucking sucks. Luckily i have a lot of disposable income to do this so it's not really an issue. That can always change, obviously, but i'm enjoying it at the moment.
>>5942790 That's brutal. Even things that would seem standard (non-imports, Western toys and such) seem to have such high prices. Could not imagine putting up with it. Like I said, I at least am able to send things to where I live in the US, but it's a shame that it's like this.

>>5931336 >>5931343 Before Busou Shinki, there was Amdriver, a painfully generic anime and videogame property by Konami that had these figures. The figures lasted a few waves and were a lot more popular than the games or show, and Konami based Shinki on the success of that line
Rules: Pick up an SD anything, plane, Gundam/other MS, whatever, if it's generally an SD it counts (so I hope to see someone do a D-Style). Obviously, per all group builds, you'll want to paint it.

Due Date: November 1st
Good news! A kind anon has purchased some prizes for the group build. He has decided to do a random drawing rather than judge them like I did in the previous group build. Winners will be contacted via email.

Why doesn't LEGO stop using fleshy heads for stormtroopers? Despite black heads beeing better for the looks, shouldn't it be cheaper, because there is no faceprint on it? I really don't get why they're using those, when the neck is fully exposed...
