So the McFarlane "Legos" have made it out, and at least in my area, sold out almost instantly, not unlike the rest of the FNAF merch, which has only recently gotten more of a restock.

Though even then, it seems everything sells leaving behind a Freddy or two.

Have any of you bought the construction sets or any of the Funko merch recently?

This was one Walmart a week ago, abouts. I never did see that 'backroom' set, but these are pretty neat items.

I bought the Foxy one, obviously, felt fair for $12.99.

I did notice there's a bizarre packaging variation on the Stage sets, three of the six in a case show a different figurine. So Bonnie, Chica, or Freddy will be 'in the open' and the others hidden to the picture.

The only downside is, at the two stores I saw the Foxy set at, they had the upward painted eye. They're all like that apparently.

And in one of the Stage sets that showed Chica, one of her eyes was painted pointing INWARD. Soooo McFarlane needs to figure that shit out.

I'm not fond of the use of paper for the curtains on the Pirate's Cove set, it's convincing enough, but it doesn't stay in place without the use of the friction of the floor boards.

Are there any good LoTR statues that aren't crap quality or way over priced? Yeah I know, LoTR, but bear with me.

I noticed I don't have anything LoTR in my collection right now, and it's a story that's rather meaningful to me. I'd really like to add something to my collection that represents this.

Pic related is the best I can find. They're OK, and I do like them, but it doesn't do much to capture the spirit of the story imo. I'm not looking for action figures. For whatever reason I can't stand the look of bendable...

Help me /toy/, you're my only hope.

Anywhere between 2004 and 2008 there was a big-ass TMNT playset that was an openable trap-filled underground base with a door on the bottom and a manhole cover entrance on top. If I recall correctly it came with two turtles and a couple foot soldiers.

Why is Holowhirl such a waifu?

dont think ive ever seen one but RC Car general

i dont care about getting into rc cars, it seems like an expensive hobby that i dont really have any interest in, i figured some people here might be though and they might wanna talk about them.

my only question is: im looking for something cheap that i can tie a dog toy to and drive around grass fields with. everything i find is around $300 and really, i'd be willing to spend $50 because this is a half assed commitment. does such a car exist?

anyone else who's into this feel free to talk about whatever.

your problem is the grass. a "cheap" rc car/truck will not have the necessary power to even get itself through a grass field. if you want a good rc vehicle for the application you are trying to attain i say you should get a 1/8 axial yeti or a 1/10 cause its cheaper depending on the size of your dog.

Time for a new Star Wars General. With so many releases this week there's a ton of stuff to post and share.

First let's start with the Black Series figure of Imperial Director Orson Krennic. He's such an evil white man. They even made his costume white to emphasize his evil whiteness. I can't wait for HEROIC FEMALE and her band of merry diverse minorities and her BIG BLACK DROID to teach this evil whitey a lesson.

I bet if he were on earth he would vote for Donald Trump.

the armor parts being separated pieces (with many of those being diecast iirc)+ the base where you can store the pieces+ the figure+ extra hands and faces for the figure are the reason they are so expensive.
don't forget that the myth cloth line is old so you are paying latecomer tax and scalperfag tax

Well you haven't seen any negative reviews on the Catwoman so there's no need to worry too much yet.

NECA has a had a pretty spotty history of QC and shady factories pumping out subpar product, but have been generally moving in a good direction the last couple of years. I'm a lot more comfortable buying NECA now than I used to be.
>>
>>5888545
Heat treat joints before you move them for the first time on NECA figures and you're fine. That's a blanket statement for all their stuff. If you don't you're in for bad time if it's a subpar QC issue. Lately QC hasn't been a problem with them though.
>>
>>5888545
Keep in mind Neca toys are 20-30 while most other 'collector' quality toys are 50-60 or more. You get what you pay for.

My three questions being:

Would anybody happen to have Metal Gear Rex as a figurine and be so helpfull to take some very detailed photos? Especially of the middle area which is hidden in pretty much ALL the photos you can find.

b) Does anybody here have experience with Lego-Mechas...

Look up reviews for the Kotobukiya model kit. Many of them feature a lot of photos from all different angles, as well as pictures of the model as it's being built.

PAK definitely improved, but they're no way worth their pricetag. Nor are they the greatest figures (weird scale, typically a poor amount of accessories vs. price point, some things still can be improved on.)

Basically do your research and see if the figure is good, and try to get it on sale or something.

Only a certain few are decent. And yes, the price isnt justifiable.
