>>5365733 I don't. I think it's mostly the unemployed people with too much time on their hands that do it. I barely have the time to open them up and set them in a pose before I have to do something else.
>>5365715 Depends. If the card is really attractive and the figure has limited articulation, I'll put 'em on the wall. If in a collector friendly box, I might leave 'em displayed or pose 'em somewhere.
I've been getting further and further away from carded figures on the wall because they take up too much room. Same with storage.
Hey /biog/, have you ever discovered an emergent properties of your particular building style that you didn't expect?
I myself have come to discover I have a... height. I'm not sure how nor why, but all my main builds, no matter how different their construction, all seem to creep closer to each other's height the closer they are to completion. This would not be remarkable were they traditional sizes, but I'm fairly confident in the fact that my main builds are all unnaturally large compared to most, and all somehow the same height. It's like my... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
For anyone with the graphic novel and chapter books, do they share the same plot or are they different? I'd rather get the graphic novel if they're the same but the chapter books if they're different, just because of personal lore conveyance preference.
>>5365503 Looking back, its kinda sad I never did that, the sound of clanging metal/plastic used to scare me, would end up playing with their arms and legs and stand them up and just line them up, a habbit I still do seeing how it causes less stress to the joints, its rare I try to pose them and leave them as such since I'm terrible at posing.
Pic not mine as my devastator will just be standing there like a fat bastard
>>5365333 you actually might be right. Fug. The only figure they have of him is that disgusting dark forces one. I always wanted a whole swbf squad but could never make it because of him. You think it would come out well if someone used that one as a base and sculpted new details over it?
Hello, I'm new to the gunpla and general model making hobby. I just finished my first model, a Astray Blue Frame Second L HG kit, and did a very basic construction, just cut it out and put it together, and for my next model I want to step up my game and do gluing and painting. However, I had a question about the paint I want to use, as it has a metallic red recessed area in the show. How can I make a metallic red paint? Is it as simple as mixing a metallic and red?
