I've been collecting Transformers for the past 10 years, ever since I was a kid. At my collection's peak I likely had over 400 figures, but I've been downsizing over the past year which feels like I've had a weight lifted from my shoulders. At this point I should be happy with my hobby, but I'm not. Last night before I went to bed I realized: I hate Transformers.
I still enjoy the toys and certain universes of fiction, but I fucking loathe the fanbase. I hate the rampant autism, the "with us or against us" obsessors who throw the word... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.

I have like $5k easy in minis for that game. Part of me wants to sell it off, part wants to put it in the garbage and never look back >Were you able to ride it out, or did you quit cold-turkey? >>5364889 A less blog-like OP might have been good, but as fair as this topic goes, yeah I used to be in the same boat.
I used to be into Transformers, not for 10 whole years but for a fair few, and I pretty much dropped it when the new cgi cartoon started (though I haven't actually seen the show, that just happened to be the time when I decided to leave). I enjoyed the figures, the collecting and the lines, both Generations and Power Core Combiners were absolutely my shit I loved those figures.
But I could... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
I dug up my old creepy crawler oven over Christmas while visiting my parents and found a pile of my molds from my youth and some from the 60s that were my father's I also found a ton of goop. I have been having a little trouble while cooking the goop and I was wondering if anyone here knows the cook times for the old and newer molds
>>5364219 If you break the contents of one set to the individual costs
Piconeemo body- 1700 yen Regular clothes- 3500 yen Boots- 1500 (yes those things cost this much) Weapons- Around 2000 yen at events
That's already 8700 yen and isn't counting the unique heads (a 1/12 garage kit head can set you back 1000-3000 and requires assembly and painting) and battle clothes (not sold separately AFAIK but most clothes like that cost around 2000).
So yeah you're actually getting a pretty damn... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
I was thinking of snatching up a bunch of the Revoltech Shimazu Toyohisa's and headswapping them with a helmet so they'd look like a uniform army, but I don't know what head would work. Any suggestions? Also any suggestions on where to get a bulk amount of decent swords?
Can /toy/ help me? I'm trying to remember this one toy series. I think it came out around ten years ago? They were action figures with a very overt Asian theme and eyeballs in their chests. I think there was also a TCG involved or something? Any help is much appreciated. Pic marginally related.
>>5363660 Fuck, I know what you're talking about. It wasn't a TCG, but rather a dice game. The eyes in their chests had different numbers of pupils in them, I never understood the rules. The designs looked cool as fuck, but I remember being disappointed with the actual toys?
I'll hunt around for them. My favorite was a big dude with blue/red samurai armor, and a crescent moon on his forehead.
Do you guys know any good classic film action figures to add to my collection? I'd like to get one of the skeleton warriors from Jason and the Argonauts, but they're so expensive now. I don't care about that new ukiyo-e one or whatever.
>>5363583 Hoestly OP You're not missing much. while Revo Skelly is still one of my favorite toys he's flimsy as fuck. Mine mostly just sits in well...sitting poses on my desk. He doesn't fit on his base very well, and if he's standing a fleck of dust landing on him will topple him over.
>>5363583 Honestly, the revoltech skeleton is the best figure I've ever gotten. Worth every fucking penny. Just wish I got two when they were still 30 bucks at the beginning of the year. If you feel yours is too flimsy, like this anon >>5364317 just take a little bit of floor polish and it'll be nice and tight in just a few minutes. If you know how to take care of toys, and aren't prone to ham handing, then it's definitely worth at least 50 bucks.

Yes, it's been confirmed that there's a special colour edition in the works. We don't know when he'll be released in 2016, though. Datong is also making one. >reissue or.. brah, the reason why a special colour version would exist is because Bandai can't reissue it (due to exclusivity), lol.
