Hey /toy/ - I'm looking for this old football my brother had many years ago. He lost it and i'd like to give him one for Christmas. It looked very much like the top one in pic related, but was pleather. I remember it had the NFL logo in silver, it was small and stuffed. Everything was printed on, it was only stuffing, pleather, and thread. I will dump the best /toy/ images I have left in exchange for any help finding this football.
TL;DR - Looking for help with this football, dumping pics in exchange.
Growing up in the 90's there was sort of a Voltron resurgence. Trendmasters got the license and went fucking nuts with it. In addition to a rerelease of the classic Popy Voltron, aong witht he new and terrible looking Stealth Voltron, and the pretty interesting Dinosaur and Dragon Voltron.
I had none of those. Instead, I had this crazy Bootleg of Panosh Place Voltron. Piloted by Ultramen. It was fragile as hell and broke pretty fast, but damn if the cockpit gimmick wasn't cool. Makes me want that absurdly priced Mattel version.
I have a thing for really tiny toys, especially robots/knight or generally faceless humanoids. Think smaller than a lego. However, I'm pretty new to toy stuff and I find them hard as balls to find. Any help? Pic semi-related, the micro cubebot is really fun
Well then there are the minimates action figures just about the size of mega bloks but a litle more articulated and if you are a fan of marvel and dc theres the zerboz and also marvel 500 both witout articulated and about an inch tall
So, I just looked into it, and I'm so confused. At first glance, this seems cruel and strange, but like... They actually have detailed instructions on caring for crickets and the habitat is safe for them. But it still leaves a weird taste in my mouth to so openly use a small animal for entertainment like this. But they also push the obaerving crickets aspect, and talk about how theres even room for multiple crickets to live inside. I don't know how to feel.
THIS is what I want from Fansproject (and most 3P companies) Stylized designs of existed characters, cause often the aesthetic strays way too far from the original (Lookin at you Maketoys and Cassy Sark)
Problem is maas producing a toy is fucking expensive. You need to have an appeal to get these things produced, and nabbing a popular design is a surefire way to appeal. Until 3D printing is widely available and it's quality can rival mold-injection, we'll only see an occasional independent transforming robot toy.
>sold neca donnie darko bunny for 20 canadian dollars on kijiji >check ebay it's 60 dollars used AHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA OH GOD last time I checked there was an overstock and they were 40 dollars new WTF no wonder so many fuckers emailed
>>5329027 Say what you want, while it's clear it won't be a good, thought-provoking movie, it looks like it'll be a fun movie directed at children. Much better than the Transformers series. It literally looks like a live action(ish, due to the CGI) cartoon. And you know what? I don't think that's half bad. Good on them.
Also, good on them for finalizing Shredder being an Asian dude, unlike whatever the fuck that fiasco was last movie, where that one guy was supposed to be Shredder, but was edited... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
