Welcome back everyone! What was your favorite WonFes21 announcement?
What is a Nendoroid, you may ask?
Guide/Product release info found here:
MM Link. Expected a figma but a nendo with many accessories like Toon Link would be fantastic. Mako's new nendoroid looks great too.
I can't believe I typed the number and edition in the wrong field. Just pretend it says "Nendoroid General #14: THANK YOU BASED WONFES EDITION".
As for my excitement, it's primarily directed toward the Heart-Under-Blade scalefig, but #2 is definitely the Marth Nendoroid
>Battle mako is best announced nendo
Hell Yeah! Day-One preorder

That was legitimately best in show for me. I expected a chogokin version of figma shimakaze when they announced her last time with just the repair docks. This. This is fucking hilarious amd awesome.
There's this set, the Nendoroid More Face Swap, you can get one and chance which one you get or order the whole set, but they're pretty pricey now. I swear they were on crunchyroll the other day for 6$ a pop, but the listing vanished. Other than that, you'd have to just get the faces that come with the figures.
Preview of nendoroid Tomoyo Kanzaki by Kahotan
Her third expression and the power name plate part
And a background sheet.
Well, I saw a few episodes of the anime, so I think the expressions are good, and nendo looks good in general.
Now, the "power name plate" and the background are cheap accessories IMHO. I'm not a fan of the anime, so I'll pass this one.
Which one is more expected: nendo Li or figma Li? That do you think?
I hope you are right, anon. I really want a full set of them, but both new boxes of CCS trading figures (by megahouse and movic) feel like quick cashgrab.
And she's up on amiami
I haven't bought any Nendoroids but I've been looking at them and they look gorgeous!
I've been debating between this Ryuko one and the Link Wind Waker one. They both look amazing.
Do any of you have thoughts on which one may be better quality or become rarer etc.?
Also, if anyone can point me to a Pokemon Red Trainer Nendoroid under like 70 bucks, I'd love you!
I just got my Snake nendo a few days ago (after paying customs for him too, guess he couldn't sneak through).
He's alright, a bit head heavy and the torso section does come off when I'm posing him around. But it stays fixed when holding the pose.
My first nendo purchase, won't be my last, but was expecting him to be a bit larger.
I own 7 right now. 9 if you count the two I'm trying to sell. I've owned probably around 20 altogether but sold most of them. So I kinda know how things go but I'm just torn. Had literally just promised myself I would only buy Nendos from a single series to avoid dropping too much money. And then all these video game and movie ones come out. Now I want Snake, Raiden, Big Boss, Tink, MM Link, Vader, Storm Trooper.
I limited myself to just a few of the Nintendo Nendos and the Vocaloids. Been smooth sailing, perfect pace. Hope you find a good diorama for your stuff.
I honestly thought they'd be smaller, like a third the size of a figma or smaller, but they looked a lot bigger when I actually got to see one in person. A lot heavier too, I can see why they cost as much as figmas.
Alright, so I've braced for the "ham-hands" replies, but here goes:
My girlfriend got Isabelle as a valentines gift. The package was damaged upon arrival (just thrown in a bag, no bubble wrap or support).
I've just gotten her home and out of the box, and her Hair bun is not attached; it's snapped on the step where the bells should be connected.
I really want to avoid informing the gf that there was an issue. I was thrilled to receive the gift, and it would really take it away from her if there was an issue, so I'd like to avoid it if at all possible. So my questions are:
1) Is there any remote action I could take to get a replacement piece. Since the figure is out of print I'm assuming that's a big no. I've heard stories in the past of these issues being brought up, and the customer receiving a few dollars in credit as compensation, and that was the end of it.
2) What is the my best bet at getting the bun reattached. The damaged area will be covered by her bells, so I don't really care what it does cosmetically so long as it will hold
GSC have posted an update for the release dates and changes for February 2014 products
The following release dates have been confirmed:
Shipping out from GSC on the 23rd February 2015:
>Good Smile Company - Nendoroid Pouch: Sleeping Bag - Blue Ver.
>Good Smile Company - Nendoroid Pouch: Sleeping Bag - Red Ver.
Shipping out from GSC on the 25th February 2015:
>Good Smile Company - Nendoroid I-401
>PLAY FUTURE - Nendoroid More: CUBE 02 Shoe Locker Set
Olimar is a maybe, but don't expect Nintendo to sign off on anything Xenoblade related. They're doing these with Good Smile because it makes them money that they desperately need to offset losses, so niche series like that won't be getting anything.
I bought Re and Miku the other day and when you pay it says that your payment sits as pending until the items are shipped. I checked my bank statement and they charged me upfront anyway so whatever.
Doubt you can get a replacement in any form anon but if the hair bun was just snapped it seems a careful touch of good glue will hold it in place. Just make sure it doesn't spill over and just let it dry.
Not sure if it's even up but it was for July Wonfest orders. Orders over 10k get free shipping from GSC shop.
Granted it's really limited to Nendoroid Re-Class/Snow Miku/Figma Snow Miku/Dress Saber to order.
Ok guys, need some tips. What is the best way to get these appleheaded fuckers to stand upright *without* having to use the enclosed stand?
I have some nice enclosed, multilevel display boxes I'd like to use but the clunky stands sorta take up more than their fair shore of room.
I tried using the yellow sticky tac, and it doesn't have enough stick to counter the massive gravitational pull that Gilgamesh's head puts out.
I just ordered Mako and Shoyo Hinata. I'll probably get snake as well in preparation for the Raiden nendo. After that I may have to pull out of buying nendos for a little bit I feel like I'm spending too much
>dumping some dumb photos of me playing with my nendos
Not really sure where to post this but I just finished this new display(?) type thing.
I made this pink french memo board for the back of my shelf. I wish I had spaced the ribbon better, but besides that pretty pleased with it.
That's awesome, please tell me you're a girl because if you got something that pink in your room and you're a boy, GG
On a side note, I have like 20+ nendo boxes with no place to store them.
>bought 4 nendos in the past week
I need to take it easy
Is it? How can you tell?
I was actually going to ask now - I've been seeing some $20 Ryuko nendoroids on ebay and such. Are these legit? I'm only asking because other Ryuko nendoroids I'll see for 60-80 bucks. Are some just being sold for cheap, or are these fakes? (I assume they are)
Okay, thanks. So, this one seems real then, according to the pics at least?
There's a kiosk store in Mall of America that sells Japanese import goods specifically from anime/manga/video games. Pretty cool shop. They have tons of Nendos there. There's also a store called Tomodachi just down the hall that sells Japanese import stuff, of a much wider variety. They've got some gunpla stuff and Kamen rider figures though. Pretty cool! Haven't felt like paying the steep price for one yet though.
From the pictures it looks legit but remember to always
-check all the photos
-see the country of origin
-read seller feedback
-check the box (hologram sticker, seal, and the flap on top)
-check the quality (neat and clean paint job)
From the photos, it looks legit but I saw the seller's profile and it doesn't look too promising. Apologizes if I missed anything on the check list and if the picture comes out rotated, I'm on my phone right now. Though I only order from AmiAmi and HLJ and I'm no expert in Nendos so maybe someone else can help.
It's obviously a fake.
Just look at the actual pictures of the figure they are selling (pic related), not the ones stolen from internet.
Here ya' go.
Man, I hope they make Diantha with M-Gardevoir as well. Diantha and Cynthia side-by-side on my shelf... it needs to happen!
Actually, just read the page. No, it looks like a full-sized Nendo. 10cm is what the description says.
5000 yen is the price tag. She comes with...
>Product Configuration "Sirona" figure body: two face parts, five arm parts, five hand parts, legs part three included Pokemon: Gaburiasu accessories props: one monster ball
With 3-D printing a thing now, (sort of) how does that factor into custom Nendoroids?
I have one that I'd like, but I doubt they're ever make it...
The quality will look really rough. 3D prints don't have the same level of texture and feel than a typical Nendo would and that would be on the cheaper end of the spectrum for 3D print materials.
It's a neat idea if you need smaller parts and you can do the polishing yourself.
> Half price
> Two different figures/outfits
> Interchangeable parts
>no Trigger sticker on my Mako box because it came from figurise who got it from Ultra Tokyo Connection
But muh sticker
I had a Snake Nendo preordered from Amiami but had to cancel it because I didn't think I'd have the funds to cover him on the release date. I ended up preordering from Crunchyroll because it was the only place that had him up for preorder after the fact. He ended up releasing everywhere and Crunchyroll keeps pushing the release date on their site further and further away. I noticed he's in stock on Amiami now so should I just contact Crunchyroll to cancel the order and get him from Amiami after all?
Anyone know if they'll ever make a full sized Katyusha or Darjeeling Nendoroid? I'm not fond of any of the other GuP Nendoroids.
GSC Shipping Update

Mashiro finally got a release date!
Maybe i can repaint Kai Toshiki suit black, that could work.
Fluffy Hime deserves having her own figma.
Be glad that at least abyssal girls are getting something, other series sometimes doesn't get shit.
They made her leg joints the same colour as her legs. No moe tan lines.
