Show me the best Digimon figures you can find
The Imperialdramon is top tier
I already have the one I wanted the most, classic Wargreymon, then Bandai goes and announces a new one based on the movie. Kinda conflicted since it seems to fix some of the articulation problems of the original, but looks much more cartoony, so I'll probably not get it.
Not my collection btw
Im similarly having problems,
I have my glorious metallic Omnimon, and need a Metal Garurumon and WarGreymon to go with him,
While the movie versions coming out are super tempting, i think i want the metal versions to match,
Also,, its an eternal peeve of mine that "Movie" style Digimon are never Panel lined in red as they should be.
He's pretty great.
It's just a shame he pretty much needs a stand to do anything but stand upright.
Still though. Quite glorious
Got all 3 of these guys, especially MetalGarurumon for "non-exclusive shit" price. Really the last one i needed to be really done. Better late than never, Bluefin
Does Paladin mode still come with a blaster? I really like that sword, but liked his original mode colors better
I got the re-released MetalGarurumon and... I think that's all I'm gonna get? I mean, that's the main Digimon I liked the most, and getting WarGreymon and/or Omnimon would just impulsive "gotta complete the set" purchases.
Regret passing on him to get G2K special colors, but I told myself only one 70$+ figure for the month.
He'd be cool with Imperialdramon.
Also should I get the Wargreymon who is on Amazon now or the upcoming one? I know I'm getting Our Way Game Omnimon, but am on the fence for Wargreymon.
Shit I just pics of the new Wargreymon. And even though I have the original release I kind of want it.
Does anyone know how much remolding has been done? I see the claws are different.
I want it. But my autism may not let me.
I already have the WarGreymon, MetalGarurumon, Omnimon set.
And this guy is way better than the existing figure but doesn't match the metallic scheme the rest have.
I feel you and kinda doing the same. I only have him and Wargreymon, but fuck omnimon.
but now would be a good time to get WarG, now that he's rereleased at $31, and that's $14 less than last time
I hope the next Digimon Figuart is something Champion level. Angemon would be neat. But the next figure will probably be a direct tie in with Tri.
I just noticed that we never really got proper figures of Adventure's Champions. I have to live with fat Greymon and chunky garurumon
Pre-ordered movie Omegamon. Already have ODE WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon. My main conflict now is if I should get movie WarGreymon or not. As cool as the metallic colors are, I'd rather be able to get him into some cool poses.
I am so terrified they'll never do a re-release/bullshit artist paint edition Dukemon before deciding to fully focus on remaking everything to fit the super-toony aesthetic.
I was a poorfag when it was released, and can't justify paying second-hand prices for it. Chaos Dukemon's mediocre paint did jack shit for me and I'm digidying.
the old version on the right looks SO much better. its huge!
This one. and its one of the really cool digivolvers. It kinda has a transformation similar to Garurumon's but much better.
I'm happy to know I'm not the only one debating this.
I don't know if I can justify spending much money right now. I don't make much money (but fuck it I love toys) so I can't really justify buying a toy of a character I already have. I love Digimon to death though and I always try to get every new mold of a character.
I would find it a lot easier to buy if everything wasn't a fucking P Bandai exclusive right now.
It's killing me that all they seem to be releasing is the Royal Knights and WarGreymon and MetalGarurumons. Why not literally anything else? There are so many great Digimon out there. I'd kill to have a Figuarts Greymon and Garurumon at least. Those early Adult/Perfect designs were...perfect. The other kids don't get shit.
I'd be fine with just some new Digimon in general, even if they're Knights or MC Digimon too.
The new Omnimon and Wargreymon look great and make me glad I don't have the D-Arts, but they're still designs we've had already.
Yeah not only that we got recolours of the original D-arts awhile back too. ChaosDukemon and Imperialdramon Paladin mode are at least new Digimon, but they are just repaints.
If they do keep going the Royal Knight route I want to see Magnamon, Rapidmon and Gankoomon the most.
Because they changed the name, silly.
>Boy, dumber than advertised...
alright thanks again, I have one more set of questions. Who is the female Digimon and does she have a figure as well?
Beelstarrmon. And no, she's an extremely recent creation (Like, this year recent.) that was only created for funsies, meanwhile Beelzemon was an incredibly important and well loved character from the most critically acclaimed season of the series. Expect a LadyDevimon figure before BeelStarrmon.
not the guy you're replying to, but beelzemon shelfwarmed pretty hard when he was released
he's a pretty subpar figure, just meh all around
he can't really hold his guns snuggly and his heads are a bitch to swap
Honestly, Adventure is probably the best place to start. Especially since Tri is being pushed now. Tamers is just the most well written.
What kind of anime do you typically watch? Because fair warning, this is still a kids show?
Watch Adventure and Adventure 02 first, just really look forward to tamers.
After tamers you can start jumping around wherever you like
Digimon the movie takes place halfway through season 02
"Digimon the Movie"
Hahaha, yea. Fuck that movie. Hard. I love the dub of Digimon, but I can't stand the changes and shoehorning of Willis.
Watch Adventure. Watch Our War Game in Japanese. Watch 02. Watch Diaboromon Strikes Back in any language. The 3rd part of "Digimon the Movie" isn't even canon.
Aww boo, you're no fun.
So what if hurricane touchdown was awful.. The American movie actually made more sense of it than the original plot.
I liked having the 3 plots strung together.
And that 90s sound track still makes me smile
Agreed on both counts.
Firstly because. No explanation. Ever, for her OR seraphimon OR the golden eggs.. Just.. Out of fucking nowhere.
FUCK YEAH GLORIOUS GOLDEN METAL BUNNY
The single bad thing about tamers was that Rapidmon wasn't gold anymore.
Savers is a personal favorite. The character designs changed to the traditional anime kind, so there's also that traditional hotness.
Best of all, it features a main human character that punches Digimon. He's knocked over a giant Champion in the first episode, punched a Mega in the tooth and it broke, and later 3 Megas. By himself. Punching other Digimon is also what digivolves Agumon. You knoe who needs a figma? that guy.
bought two boxes of these and got a full set my first shot.
gonna sell the second box but i wonder should i
a) sell it unopened
b)open each individual box (but of course not the inner plastic) and sell it so people can choose?
i would think B, but i'm not sure which is more attractive for the average buyer.
They were separate too.
And even before that.
Leomon isn't even that taxing of a release to do. Provided the sculpt and engineering check out you only need a pair of closed fists, a pair of sword holding hands, a sword and a Beast King punch effect.
You can through in extra posing hands if you wanted but it not like the other Digimon releases that need capes, huge weapons and packed in stands.
