Sum up your last /trv/ expedition in three green-text entries.
>Cold as fuck
>Paper paddies (Americans)
>People shooting up crack in Dublin broad daylight
>It's plastic paddies, and not limited to yanks.
>How close were you to Joseph Plunkett Tower for crack?
>Where do you live that anything Ireland can throw at you is cold as fuck?
2/10 I responded
> oh look, I'm here again
> freezing my ass off in the most ghetto apartment I've ever had the displeasure of living in
> take a vacation to Goa and Mumbai and have fun riding around on motorcycles and eating seafood
I was in Peru with my girlfriends family last June. Her family is in Lima and at first the culture shock was overpowering. I'm a Marine war veteran and an avid backpacker and I wet the bed my first night. Nobody found out and I couldn't tell if it was because of the damp weather or the what (it's never happened to me before). After some time in Lima i calmed down and took it easy, but it was hard trying to enjoy myself when every single person tells you to watch out for thieves. No solace until in the comfort of their home.
Machu Picchu is amazing, --MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A TICKET TO CLIMB **Huayna Picchu**-- it's extremely limited and you will regret not doing it.
Be careful in Cusco.
Make sure to see the town of Ica, south of Lima to try the Pisco and visit huacachina.
Drink the beer in lima and cusco. it's german and great. Drink Pisco sour's in lima and Ica.
Eat ceviche, aji de gallina, and lomo saltado.
Stay the fuck away from the Chicha unless you get it in the sacred valley. if you drink the chicha in cusco or lima, you will get sick. only drink bottled water. stay away from any milk drinks.
France (around Calais)
>drank expensive cider with my fingers smelling of pussy
>got stoned, looked at jellyfish for half an hour
>people disproving the "french are arrogant Brit haters" stereotype
>Trevi fountain closed for repairs in the middle of fucking August when they get the most tourists, seriously what is wrong with Italians?
>This looks like a nice classy cafe... what the fuck it's McDonalds?!
>Capitaline museum is closed for repairs in the middle of fucking August when they get the most tourists, seriously what is wrong with Italians?
(Still best trip ever though).
>Be careful in Cusco.
Bullshit. Cusco is safe even far from the plaza, it is patrolled by hot policewomen with dual revolvers.
Lima is full of thieves and drug addicts, and if you are by the beach transvestites.
> spiders and snakes and gators and bears and giant lion cats
I lived in Florida a while and the spiders, at least, didn't seem way off from New England. That said, I didn't even get to see cool wildlife while stationed in Iraq, excepting mujj.
>>967230 Where at? I'm retired and considering living in San Diego for a while, but Santa Cruz is a strong competitor.
>>967387 Military medical retirement at age 24, now 28. inb4 veteran bashing I'm not some ideological supporter of the GWOT and I normally don't mention the Army unless it comes up in conversation. It's just another job, but hard to cover for a multi-year gap in employment.
I'm sorry to ask this here, but I don't feel it deserves it's own thread.
Could someone please tell me the approximate cost to fly from LAX to Vancouver? I don't live in the US and wouldn't know where to start looking.
>hot as fuck
>very distasteful people
