ITT: scary/tense/creepy opening credits
Don't know what about these old nuclear test footages makes them so creepy. This made me shit bricks. Too bad the movie itself was meh.
Why is darkness always evil in movies? I mean sure, I understand that shadows and night time are scary because of what might be hiding. But I wonder if all humans were as dark as Africans, if "dark" would still be "evil".
Because some tribes in non-white countries used to shun albinos as evil spirits. And ghosts/apparitions are more white than dark. Dunno, it would be interesting to have a movie where paleness is evil or out of the ordinary. Are there some good examples?
Oh yeah, those are both good examples. Sauroman being evil is actually a good one EXCEPT Gandalf comes back later as "The White" also, which is implied to be better than his previous gray version.
Some orcs are super pale, but I still feel like they make the ugliest ones black.
This just in Danny Glover confirmed for Mike Milligan in season 3.
except for the fact that the show is working its way back in time ( not forward) following that family.
season one - Lou Solverson as an old man, the father figure
season two - Lou Solverson as a young cop / Hank Larsson (Ted Danson) as the father figure
season three - Hank Larsson as a young cop
Who is indisputably the best one-episode character on the simpsons? My vote is for pic related, but it might be the guy with the flamethrower...
Casting calls for new characters.
>"JOHN" (40's-50's) l A powerful poltical figure manipulating all sides of the conflict for his own benefit. A master strategist with ever-shifting allegiances who appears to be always one step ahead of his enemies.
This is the role Benicio Del Toro is in discussions for.
>"SARA" (mid-20's - Early 30's) l A brave and resourceful warrior deeply committed to the ideals of justice and peace and unwaveringly loyal to her comrades, who...

Anyone thought this dialog was weird:
>Rebel technician: Sir, your tauntaun will freeze before you reach the first marker.
>Han: Then I'll see you in hell!
He never turned into a lobster.
What was the point?
what do you think about his analysis?
Whole damn theater
>Return Of The Jedi almost had a completely different ending. George Lucas toyed with the idea that after Luke witnesses Yoda's death, he puts his blanket on, proclaims “Now I am Yoda” and morphs into him.
Fucking seriously, Lucas?
>Revenge of the Sith almost had a completely different ending. George Lucas toyed with the idea that after Anakin kills the younglings, he takes their tiny lightsabers, proclaims “Now I am the younglings” and turns to the light side.

Red pill me on the gun situation in America. I live in Britain and after one school shooting we banned guns completely like 20 years ago so there arent really any shootings anymore. Why shouldn't America do the same? Surely if all guns were gone there would be less shootings like sandy hook?
Star Wars Episode 0 when?
So this is happening.
>I still don't get why there isn't some sort of Harry Potter EU. Is JKR holding back the rights or something?
Considering how people piss blood concerning the Star Wars EU maybe it's a good thing there's no glut of HP EU stuff.
Borrowed season 2 from my library. What am I in for?
