Is this a perfect film?
Related movies? No walhberg shit please
Get the Gringo is essentially Max Payne 3, but Max Payne 3 is thematically different from 1 and 2.
In terms of gritty realism interspliced with exaggerated violence, there's probably a few 2007-2010 mid-budget movies that fit the bill. I feel like I've seen a few that have been at least loosely comparable
Pic related is the best Max Payne movie we'll probably ever get.
Why did so many people dislike this? I think it portrays Bronson's descent into madness in a stylish, colorful, and unique manner that only Refn could come up with.
What's not to like?
Has a Film or television show ever given you nightmares?
Thoughts on his tour videos?
Shows or movies that /tv/ tricked you into watching
Was Joker seriously getting turned on when he offered Harley to the guy? If you watch the scene, when Harley starts kissing him, there is a close up of Joker's face as he is breathing heavily and looks hell aroused.
Anyway I believe that since the guy called Harley a bitch, Joker wanted to kill him but first had some fetish of seeing him make out with Harley.
>THE FIRE IN MY LOINS... THE ITCH IN MY CROTCH!
So I was starting to lose interest, then they're in a helicopter, It Ain't Me starts playing and I just lose it. Thanks /tv/.Now I have to keep watching.
I thought this movie was pretty funny and an all around good time. Chris Kroll killed it in this movie aswell. What was everyone thoughts on it?
The beginning of Goldmember is so awesome. Danny DeVito as mini-me kills me.
>hey brah we're gonna watch some Tarkovsky with the sorority girls tomorrow night. You down?
Do these hold up? Might rewatch.
what did /tv/ think of the Magnificent 7?
90's Indie It Girl
You can choose only one
the correct answer is Parker Posey
you fucking moron, it was 50/50 and you picked the wrong one!
sevigny is what sex would be if it was a person. she's not even that conventionally attractive but pulls off that whore vibe so well.
Who is the best nutshack and why is it cherry pie?
>glenn survives all those close calls with the zombies
>only to be brutally killed by another human being
Was anybody honestly expecting someone Other than Glenn to get Lucille'd?
Who is the Sam Hyde of unfunny sketch comedy and ham-fisted "satire"?
Name a better villain. I'll wait.
Just finished watching this for the first time in about 15 years
I just got done watching this, is it good?
All they do is drink smoke and fuck each other. Does it get better?
*record scratch* *freeze frame* Yup, that's me. You're probably wondering how I got here. Well, it all started when...
Name a better show.
>yfw you first saw the drug raid scene from season 1 of True Detective
I've only watched Eraserhead, Blue Velvet, Twin Peaks, and Lost Highway. Loved/really liked them all but, Eraserhead is my favorite while Lost Highway is my least favorite of the bunch.
Do you think I could handle Inland Empire or do I still need to go under more Lynch training/conditioning first?
Lost Highway was his worst, imo. Inland Empire stinks, too.
Watch Elephant Man and then Wild at Heart. The Straight Story is great, but it's nothing like any of his other movies. Definitely worth watching. Mulholland Drive is overrated and Dune is underrated. But yeah...watch Elephant Man next.
This is all the Lynch you need.
Which one should I watch? Which is better?
>Mr. Worf does not belong in our universe.
>None of this is real. It is a simulation. We are still on the holodeck.
>I believe the Enterprise may be forming an intelligence.
Is this shit good or just overrated shit?
>it's a "Truman has a positive social interaction and then spends the rest of the day thinking about it until through no evidence but his own paranoia and self-doubt he decides that the person didnt actually want to be around him and was only nice due to societal conventions" episode
This story happens a lot in this show.
>that one time Truman got the urge and rapes a teenager without a condom and got her pregnant
That forced abortion on screen went a little too far i think, and how it got passed the censors I'll never know
>It's a "Truman sits at home alone on yet another Friday night and masturbates once or twice because it's the only sexual release he'll ever have and is going to die a jobless, friendless, virgin" episode
