Why have I never seen this talked about here? It's literally 4chan: The Film
>deviant sex scenes
>main character is a complete degenerate
Also it was one of the funniest fucking films I've seen in a long time
There are no waifu or caped men in it, so...
Now as someone who enjoyed the book, McAvoy seems unsuited for the role of Bruce Robertson who is a grizzled, hefty middle aged man.
McAvoy would seem better suited to the other, younger cop whose name I've forgotten.
Don't mind me; just sitting here being the 2nd best Alien movie of all-time behind Close Encounters.
While you ultra-millenials jerk it to the overhyped trailer of ARRIVAL, the most accurate Alien movie has already been made.
Admit it, Contact got it right.
Not even talking about the garbage acting of Jodie Foster; just talking about the plot.
It's not that good though. Don't get me wrong, I like this movie, but it's super cheesy and stupid at parts. It's got that Robert Zemeckis trademark sappy music bullshit. Half the time you're watching it it sounds like you're watching Forrest Gump.
The plot was really interesting, the only thing that doesnt fit is the "we need to ask the church for permission and their blessing".
Nobody, nobody would give a shit about the church's opinion about who we would send to make contact, and in this movie somehow, the church has the power of selecting who will travel lioght years at the speed of light, on a private enterprise.
Yeahh... nahh, that was a weak plot device for the love story.
My ex will be coming round my house on Saturday so I need some good and recent horror kinda films to watch so she ends up cuddling next to me and hopefully stopping round.
>MOM'S GONNA FREAK!
>pregunta paisano, quieres morir?
el el salvadoriANO
el costa ricANO
wtf i hate diane now
Is Finn Wolfhard the Peter O'Toole of his generation?
Does /tv/ know this film ?
Best Ryan Reynolds' performance, even better than Deadpool (which was great), awesome ambiance and genius use of point of view in my opinion.
>be a failed movie hunk
>do small indie flick and it's great
>goes back to trying to be a movie hunk
Wish deadpool flopped so we could get more RyanKino but it's gonna be memepool from now on
Also the movie is good but felt like it didn't do enough. I was expecting more twists but it played out exactly how I expected and by the end I was waiting for it wrap up . Ending credits was nice though
What are the consequences of getting caught with food in the cinema that's not from the snack bar?
why was his wife gambling with sharks?
why didn't the one who was married and loved sarah just stay borden and the other one just stay fallon when not on stage?
imagine being that 2nd twin. would you like to live in the shadow of your brother your whole life, even though you contributed just as much to their success? He wanted to live the fame life too every once in a while
is it wrong to think she is hot as fuck?
If you do pic related then FUCK YOU
Is it too much to ask for you not to leave your trash everywhere after a movie like some kind of adult monkey?
If I see another person doing this shit in my cinema then im sending the cctv to the police

>It's an Aethelwulf single-handedly kills 30 dudes while protecting his wife's son then comes home to get cucked by dad episode
Who else is /Aethelwulf/ here?
yes yes, well done son, well done indeed
90% of Vikings problems could've been averted if he or Ragnar just admitted their homolust for Athelstan
Why do 98% of threads on /tv/ only have 2 or 3 replies total?
There are more OP's than actual posters.
Does /tv/ like Last Action Hero?
I didn't like it when I first saw it 20 years ago and thought it was silly and too heavy handed on it's 'movie violence isn't real violence' theme but I can appreciate it for what it is and enjoy it now.
DUDE THE MAFIA ARE NORMAL PEOPLE TOO AND HAVE THE SAME PROBLEMS THAT YOU AND I HAVE LMAO
Name a better season opener in the history of television. Go ahead, try.
L O S T
I actually do. I mean, it was never "good" but it wasn't nearly as shit as this. Hard to think that this place was better when it was overrun by tripfags. A momsen trip here, an Avatar trip there. Even a few Gomez and Hershlag ones, too.
Why was he such a harsh critic?. Literally never voted a film higher than 4 stars.
I wonder what would people say about Lawrence of Arabia today.
Imagine a shitstorm of articles written by retarded millenials with no grasp of history saying how a movie set in Arabia casting a white man in the lead role is offensive and racist
actors that make me laugh
>Singing Happy Birthday while Dad is buck naked in the bathtub
Surrealist films should by definition be silent films.
Why aren't there any immortals using firearms for duels? I imagine it would be pretty easy to cut some guy's head of while he's asleep.
Also highlander thread!
>Main character is female
>She breaks other immortals by chopping off their dicks
What do you think about Gaspar Noé?
He shouldn't be allowed to edit his own films, the final cuts end up dragging on for at least 30-40 minutes too long. Still good movies though, he has really confronting style and an aesthetic that suits the tone.
He's Argentinian, you fucking mong.
>Bruce Banner suddenly and radically changes his physical appearence, no one notices
>James 'Rhodey' Rhodes suddenly and radically changes his physical appearence, no one notices, not even his genious best friend
>The same person is both Amadeus Cho and some random guy from Peter Parker's school
>The same person is SSR agent Daniel Sousa in the '40s and some random NY cop in 2012
>Fandral and radically...

>Bolivar Trask, a white dwarf, grows up to be a Large black man.
why do you guys perceive him as powerful if he doesn't produce big budget movies and his company is basically bankrupts
Why was the cop so sad and emphathetic with the bank robber?
Also, why do bad guys always win in these movies
