Man Scott pilgrim was an absolutely amazing and groundbreaking movie.
What do you think of it? Why was this movie not successful? Will we see a movie similar to this ever again?
I'm with you on that, also MEW was a total babe in the film.
I was impressed by the cinematography, the editing and the fact that they kept true to a lot of the source material.
Ramona Flowers is her best role desu. She's just stellar and they made her a real badass too as well as a sweet heart.
So, I watched this film last night, for the first time in years, and while it's objectively great and super comfy, it's kind of rather flawed in terms of decision-making by characters and script inconsistencies:
> Dallas, Ash and Ripley suddenly stop wearing masks when they search for the Facehugger (what are protocols?)
> Dallas, Ash and Ripley suddenly stop wearing masks when they dissect (!!!) the dead Facehugger (what are protocols?)
> Dallas' death is rather lame,...

>>Ash trying to suffocate Ripley instead of simply bashing her skull in
Aside from the sexual imagery, I took that to be Ash trying to simulate a facehugger-like attack. It was not known what the alien might do, and if she died with a fucked up throat, after something was shoved down it, the crew might investigate it no further than "FUCK, THE THING DID SOMETHING TO HER." The alien already had a "shove down throat" motif that the crew would have understood as being connected to her death.
>> Ash trying to suffocate Ripley instead of simply bashing her skull in
That one can be answered; Ash was starting to malfunction, hence the white Android fluid running down his head earlier in the scene. At that point his thought process are becoming irrational.
Did you want butter on that, handsome?
Would you care for a solo movie of her even without featuring a lot of the Joker?

MY BROTHA CODY
Richer Breault edition. This one makes the pedos on /tv/ the most butthurt because they identify with him the most.
I'm probably going to be called a pedo, but I honestly think this dude is just a dumb, horny kid. He definitely needs to be punished, but do you think his life should be ruined for this?
I do feel a little bad for this guy. He's the saddest because he had the most to live for. Obviously he deserves whatever happened to him, but I hope he'll be able to bounce back and get his life back together.
SO NO ONE TOLD YOU LIFE WAS GONNA BE THIS WAY
dialogue, plot ideas, ramble shit doesnt matter
use the thread as an outlet for whatever autism you want to display
all the best
Can we please have a serious conversation about this movie?
I still don't understand why RLM suck The Force Awaken's teat so much. From all their other reviews you'd think they'd be able to point out TFW's many problems.
What's the best film in the series, and why is it Prisoner of Azkaban?
What the fuck is his problem?
Next time baby
now that hbo is working on a berserk series
who should play Gattsu?
Can /tv/ agree that Afleck looks way more like batman than bale?
Batfleck was better than Batbale for sure.
>Everything critics hated about James Gunn's Super, they "loved" about James Gunn's "Guardians of the Galaxy"
But no, there's no Marvel bias.
Don't even try to defend this worthless cuck of a loser.
How the fuck did he lose Nancy to preppy-Beavis?
Because the people creating it really enjoyed the other guy's character after watching him play it. I think there was an interview where they stated they were originally going to kill off Steve, but decided not to.
What's the best horror movie ever made?
How do actors have pets? Aren't they on set for 12+ hours a day and traveling for promotion the other time. Has to be difficult to care for them with that lifestyle.
Ben has a better dog.
Luke, did I ever tell you that all Stormtroopers are a clone of bounty hunter I fought once?
>Meme scientist doesn't get his dick sucked and reddit throws a shitfit
What was smugs problem? Why was he so mad?
>DO YOU KNOW WHAT SHE DID?
>YOUR CUNTING DAUGHTER
This scene is so rough and fucking frightening. And none of it was even in the book.
I respect Stranger Things for the sole fact that it has given the world exposure to a 10/10 thicc redhead.
Why do you respect Stranger Things /tv/?
>Make a joke during the movie
>Guy in front laughs
This ever happen to anyone else? It's like getting a (you) irl
>watching watchmen with friends
>scene where he pours boiling oil on a dudes face
>people in the theater laugh
>friend stands up
>"REAL FUNNY GUYS! LAUGH AT A GUY IN COMPLETE PAIN
>someone from the audience says "its a movie retard"
>sink into my seat in embarrassment
>terrible disaster scene
>yell out "That's gotta hurt!"
>try to do it again at another showing
>dude with a laser pointer is in audience
>everyone laughing at him
>time to say my line
>no one laughs
>start berating the laser...

"BvS is kino" meme aside, redpill me on BvS. I'm very late on watching it, and I'm just gonna go get the Ultimate Edition anyways.
How is Ben as Batman?
Good movie, better than suicide squad but not as good as man of steel imo. Would have preferred a direct sequel to mos instead of bvs, oh well!
As for batfleck, he was good. Definitely the most violent portrayal of batman on screen. But its for a reason.
Or the scene with Elizabeth?
