Despite Noir, specifically Noir Detective / Private Investigator being such a huge cliche, it occurs to me that there haven't been that many movies or TV series with that particular style, if at all any in the last 15 or so years. The only one I can remember is Sin City 1 and 2 (which I disliked for the over the top gratuitous violence and stupidity) and Road to Perdition which was amazing, though not about the Detective Angle.
So what is there out there? I have no problem going back 50 or even more years. I'm just looking for some decent detective movies to watch.
BANEPOSTING IS ETERNAL
This is literally a 15 years old edgelord's revenge fantasy, if said edgelord is also a female landwhale. It doesn't say anything interesting, it fails as horror/thriller, the rape and executions are fucking goofy at best.
I want to hope it's some satire on feminists and not hamhanded "RAPE IS WRUNG" bullshit, but that feels like giving this shit too much credit.
what's up with all that racism in hollywood
>tfw you late for the screening
>all the good seats are taken
>you have to watch the movie on the stairs because you don't want to bother people
It happened too me today ;_;
Is this shit supposed to be funny? Seems like the British version of LOL SO RANDUM. There's absolutely no wit about any of the jokes that brits love to boast about. It's just fucking awful and as bad as FR3D
whatever man youre super patrician. is that what you want to hear? its enjoyable and funny with plenty of clever and funny bits. every joke in the movie doesnt need to be clever for the movie to still be clever
First off, it was made in the 1970s, when non sequitur humor was fresh and new instead of worn out by 13 year olds.
Secondly, even watching it in the time of LOLRANDUM, there's actual wit in those non-sequiturs, in terms of historical parody and style.
Computer load up Celery Man please.

Time for a Darkplace thread. Get in here and talk Darkplace.
Here's all the episodes for those who haven't yet seen the greatest comedy series of all time.
So /tv/ what's the verdict?
>muh evil sociopath machine who wants to slave the world
>muh cute comedic relief
Isn't there another way to portray a sentient machine? Why is the media so limited to those two options? Is getting so predictable.
Robots existing physically is unnecessary. AI's can just sit in computers, all the important shit to an AI exists digitally anyway.
