Why didn't Luke train her to be a Jedi like he said he was going to in Return of the Jedi?
What are some good slasher flicks?
Personally I hate Halloween, but I think Black Christmas from 1974 is almost perfect. It's as good as a slasher can get, I can't recommend it enough. On top of a perfect comfy Christmas feel (by the same director as A Christmas Story), it's also super fucked up and has great psychological horror. It's a pioneer film for slashers and pretty much invented all the go-to tropes, but does them in a really smart way
What are the best crime/mystery documentaries or true crime films?
pls reply, this thread is too spooky to be in here on my own

What does /tv/ think about the 'It' remake?
Personally, I like to think of it as the 'remike', because that's all I want. And that's certainly all I need.
Clearly, you must be blind if you like this movie.
Honestly, it was one of the most garbage movies i've ever seen.
Even my autistic cousin said it was shit.
Couldn't even get through 30 minutes of this.
Kidding yourself if you think this is true cinema.
Except for the Huey Lewis part, I hated it so much.
My god, I would rather watch "The Room".
>action sequences; felt real and intense
>Vincent Cassel was great as the villain
>Alicia Vikander was fantastic
>lack of Matt Damon speaking
>no real story, real intrigue, or twists and turns; just a pretty straightforward action movie
Overall I found it entertaining but its easily the worst of the Damon Bourne movies. Better than Legacy I guess.
the action scenes were way too protracted and drawn out for no reason. there was no sense of momentum or stakes after the first few minutes. they just became "oh look they're still in a car chase / fight sequence" twenty minutes later.
also it would've been nice if they'd hired a cameraman who didn't suffer from terminal parkinson's, everyone came away from their viewing experience with shaken baby syndrome.
all in all, 3/10 and alicia was the best part of the movie
So, is she going to be the next actress we hear about nonstop for the next 2 years like Jennifer Lawrence was?
Attack of the Clones is kino.

Doesn't anyone find it odd that this movie has some of the worse critics of rotten tomatoes...
... and that this piece of shit has scored 98% in rotten tomatoes from the critics?
seriously, can someone explain that to me?
>Christian Bale (charismatic, funny man)
>Brendan Gleeson (introverted, straight man)
>Dunboyne, County Meath, Ireland.
>A bog body of a county sheriff that went missing from the town over a decade ago is located: his body shows clear signs of a threefold death. The sheriff was the father of Gleeson's character (who is not police) and is what closely ties him into the case. Upon interviewing him, Bale's...

Population of 5 million and I still find it weird to find other Irish posters here. Sounds like a good idea but casting Brendan reminds me too much of The Guard, I think Michael McElhatton would be a better choice tbqh
post 10/10 cinema
>He used to slice it so thin it used to liquefy the pan
>no big budget movie about one of the greatest womyn in history
why aren't hollywood tapping into this free money opportunity?
Does /tv/ like Mean Girls?
Does anyone empathize with, or feel sorry for Chuck McGill at all? I mean, he's absolutely on the right side of the law, and he's also got some serious issues, but it just seems to be damn near impossible to muster up any sympathy, whatsoever, for him. He's just so completely unlikable, especially in comparison to his brother who is undoubtedly a criminal.
And his only friend has the personality of an armchair.
whats youre movie grub when youre watching flicks?
Which one did a better job of murdering the franchise?
How the fuck did Star Wars murder the franchise?
It's a massive success with 2 more major movies being released in the fairly immediate future, as well as a whole bunch of spinoffs.
