Are samurai movies to japan what cowboy movies are to america, and kungfu movies are to china? If so, what else falls in that line?
Any last thoughts before this piece of shit comes out?
TL;DW: Zack Snyder puts his priorities in trying to craft iconic moments instead of telling a good organic story
Can't believe how hard they dropped the ball on this movie. It's quite baffling. What's even more baffling is the dedication to the "Batman v Suerman is good meme"
BvS is good meme might overtake Bane? Soon because of how loyal the memers are and how many threads are posted a day
ITT: movies that have kino as their only redeeming point
>It's a fantasy world setting, thousands of years old
>Technology hasn't advanced in thousands of years
it kind of has to be this way.
in Sci-fi in a civilisation advanced for thousands of years they would be so advanced they would be like Q or something.
in fantasy, they want all the lore but don't wan to lose the whole fantasy thing in the first place.
I suppose you could always use the excuse of a 'dark age' or perhaps magic(or whatever) reducing the need for invention.
>Fell for The "old simpsons episodes are the best" meme
I went back and tried watching some of them, but they're just terrible. I don't understand this meme. The graphics are bad, There aren't many good jokes, The voices sound weird and the characters seem depressed and less happy.
It's just another meme from the nostalgiafags, I will keep enjoying new simpsons/family guy and ignore these shitposters from now on. Gave it a chance.
>character gets shot
What's his name again?

So now that kat is gone, where do you get your tv shows?
Can digital cinematography compete with film? Are there digital films that look as good as Stalker? Or as good as Kubrick films?
Aren't there any refn posters that want to tell me how good he is with digital?
I'm about to view this "Side by Side" documentary. Does anyone know what Refn means in this article, I can't tell if he filmed Drive in digital or film?

Now that kickasstorrents is no more, what's the second best torrent site for kino
Should I go and see it? Are there enough "so bad it's good" moments that you can sort of laugh at, or is it a cringefest?
All memes and joking aside, I do not believe it is worth your time. I did not enjoy it at all. Then again, I have yet to enjoy any Paul Fieg movie.
A good barometer might be to watch one of them first, such as The Heat or Spy. I couldn't finish either one, and both feature the exact same style of comedy.
People complain all the time about manbabies or whoever, but it has absolutely nothing to do with women, and everything to do with a shitty script. I can think of many films featuring all...

Honestly, it's not worth the watch. It's not a "so bad it's good" movie, nor a cringeworthy movie that throws unbelievably stupid shit at you all the time. Its just a borefest and very stupid movie full of bad impromptu comedy and boring, underdeveloped characters slapped on a less-than-mediocre storyline. I expected to be ready to rage at every scene but in the end I was just sitting with my hands on my cheeks being bored to hell and sighing heavily at the stupid attempts at a joke. If you really want to see it, I suggest just waiting for a stream or...

It's bad. Don't go see it. The acting isn't that great, the effects are distracting they're so awful, and the jokes are "10-year-old on youtube"-tier. The worst part of it is the general writing though.
M. Night is back. What /tv/ thinks about genious director? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=84TouqfIsiI

Why are we not talking about Chris Stuckmann's latest embarrassing creative failure?
Not quite up there with his BvS script "improvements" but still pretty awful.
All memes aside, why do you hate Bryan Cranston? I know /tv/ hates Breaking Bad just because it's popular but you gotta admit, he's an amazing actor.
Nerdwriter1 takes stab at why batman v superman didn't work and also why the change in tone won't help justice league.
