Actors and actresses that had all the looks and talent, but basically disappeared
Seen Elephant, Drugstore Cowboy, and Good Will Hunting of course.
Are his other films worth watching? namely Mala Noche and My Own Private Idaho
What was /tv/'s thoughts on this movie?
It reminded me of a morbid "Her"
So I've been watching Jessica Jones and fuck me, I hate both of these characters. Especially the girl. It makes me so irrationally angry whenever she has screen time. What are some other television or movie characters that grind your gears, /tv/?
Yeah I couldn't stand both of those characters either, especially the junkie guy at first. It really irked me how they made him this "junkie with a heart of gold" stereotype that only exists in movies. But I couldn't find a decent thread that wasn't /pol/ bitching and forgot about it until I finished the second half and figured out his deal. He got a bit better, but every character besides Jessica, Luke, Trish, and Kilgrave just really dragged the whole thing down.
ITT: Alleged villains who literally did NOTHING wrong
when is season 2 coming out
i think you mean when is season 4 coming out
>Jennifer Anniston as Ferris Buehler's sister
Is this a good time to start collecting blurays or is there some new technology just behind the corner that will make them obsolete in a year or two?
Is this the greatest television show ever made?
Were the leads really weak?
How would you change the Order 66 scene?
Well first of all, I would've made Jedi numbers in the hundreds instead of thousands.
Second, there would be no order 66.
Palpantine would corrupt a random Jedi to doing something evil, like attacking Anakin and leaving him scarred (instead of obi-wan having to do it).
Anakin would become a martyr for the new Empire allowing the people to rally behind him voluntarily, the rest of the jedi would be ubiquitously outlawed, and the clones would decide on their own free-will to start taking them out....

Another turning point, a fork stuck in the road
>mfw in an alternate time line Iroh burnt down Ba Sing Se for his death
>mfw instead of being a cool zen teacher he became a drunk with grief over his son and all the lives he took in the war
literally, everything that happened in the series is because of Iroh and what happened at Ba Sing Se
Who's your favorite Indian actor, /tv/?
Mine is Jabituya from Short Circuit 1/2.
What a shit list. "Neckbeard" isn't a tangible film taste that can be distilled quite like "Fedoracore". Fedora's are funny because there's an ignorant pride ingrained in the conceit. Neckbeard's have nothing.
is this funny? i feel like i'm the only person who's never seen it
-Are you the key grip? I'll give you a thousand dollars to punch the director in the face as hard as you can!
Hell yes, it's funny. You miss your meds or something?
I watched all 10 episodes, and I must say this is a good series.
It was frustrating at times, but overall, the series is well written, and the characters are interesting.
