Which one did it best?
What are some movies that evoke the same feeling as pic related? Movies kinda like taxi driver where the character is out at night, overall depressing, lonely tone, stuff like that.
What did /tv/ think of this?
>say something only a pedantic poseur whose taste only extends as far as his netflix library would say
No shit you're gonna get called a pleb.

When will marvel adapt this?
Rick and morty confirmed for kino
An original show with great characters that's mostly episodic with a few overarching plots. Does comedy and drama extremely well.
Why does /tv/ hate good things? Is it because they're popular? You guys can't like the same things as "normies"?
Chad always wins
Why did people hate Nolan's batmobile?

What the fuck was up with this "review"? Does doug think we want to watch these long and unfunny sketches?
>Does doug think we want to watch these long and unfunny sketches?
Seeing that his fanbase has stuck around and his site is growing in popularity over the years, yes this is what people want to watch.
>/tv/ complains about racial and cultural diversity in everything

How does this work?
How the fuck is American "entertainment" this degenerate?

Remember remember the Fifth of November,
The gunpowder treason and plot
I see no reason
Why gunpowder treason
Should ever be forgot.
Did you forget the true capekino /tv/?
Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition.
Is it just as poetic?
Is it worth £154 a year?
DUDE DIVERSITY LOL

That feel when he's been dead almost 10 years
Come up with a GoT spin-off.
is this the worst villain to ever appear on screen?
Ok so explain this. Aladdin cheats the Genie out of his first "wish": He basically says "I bet the Genie can't get us out of this cave", but doesn't wish for it, and the Genie shows that he's capable of using his Genie powers even if it's not a wish. Then his first wish is being prince; his second wish is being saved from drowning while he's unconcious, but he never actually wishes for it. Why didn't the Genie just fucking save him? It was obvious they were buddy-buddy at that point. Why the fuck does he need to have it be a...

There's apparently some force in the universe that prevents Genies from just acting on their own will (even though he did it to save Aladdin from drowning) while bound to their lamp.
It's never really clearly defined though. For example, Genie says that Aladdin can't wish someone back from the dead. Not because he can't grant the wish, but because he doesn't like doing it. So it was a personal rule of his but what would he have done if Aladdin wished for it anyway?
So how does that explain him acting out what he thought was Aladdin's first wish? Are the rules dependent on the Genie's perception or what? I could understand everything else but that part just doesn't fit in then. Seems like a pretty big loophole.
I'm pretty sure they can kind of twist things based on their perception. In the original stories about them they were pretty big jerks and usually did a monkey's paw kind of deal where they would grant wishes but screw the wisher over at the same time. Jafar does it to that fat guy in the second movie.
Genie probably could have had that first "wish" count if he wanted to. He's just a nice guy.
