Ashara Dayne hasn't been mentioned on the show ever.
The only allusion to any Dayne was this, what was supposed to be a nod to the books, but of course they fucked up.

As a black man of color I quite honestly will give a movie about 5 mins before I decide if the production is diverse enough for me to keep watching before I either turn off the flick or go for another pick.
Last time I saw a black guy watching TV it was Cops and he was literally taking notes with a sketchpad
Netflix original programming is overwhelmingly mediocre and is only popular because the binge watching model encourages mindless consumption. Netflix viewers don't stop to think how utterly insane it is that the Vice President just pushed a girl in front of a train because they're already on to the next episode.
Recipe for a Netflix show to be lauded as great

I agree. They haven't had a great one yet, there's no "Sopranos" or "Mad Men" to give them an anchor. "Narcos" is the closest they've come, pretty good, but not really anything new or original
