A friend who works in the film industry and actually likes Star Wars a lot just had access to the final Force Awakens script. When I asked him how the film was all he did was send me this animated gif. What did he mean by it?
ITT: Movies that actually exist
>le liberal girl is smart, men are dumb show
"Don't do it, Jimmy."
Just exactly did Aunt Diane mean by this?
Why the hell would Saruman build his army and tower at the base of a river only held back by a shitty wooden dam and a few measly orcs guarding it next to a forest known for walking trees that he was having his orcs cut down? Surely he was smarter than that to become king wizard
What went wrong, senpai?
What do you guys think of the View Askewniverse movies?
ITT: Books you'd like to see adapted as films
Alternatively, I'd like to see someone attempt House Of Leaves.
Just found out this was canceled today, like a full year after it was apparently announced. Been wondering when it was coming back on. Pretty bummed to be honest, I'll miss my assburgerfoo. What went wrong?
>What went wrong?
1. NONE OF THE WRITERS ACTUALLY KNEW WHAT AUTISM, OR ITS RANGE OF SYMPTOMS, WERE, NOR DID THEY THOROUGHLY RESEARCH, THE CONSEQUENCE OF WHICH WAS AN AUTISTIC CARICATURE AS A MAIN A CHARACTER.
2. MOST OF THE STORY WAS COMPRISED OF VAPID MELODRAMA.
Has anyone else noticed inconsistency in the deletion of shitposts on /tv/?
Mods seem to have no problem with sheev, or other star wars memes, but instantly delete baneposts or frogposts as soon as they come across them
Why is this?
Why does this leave you with tingling feeling?
Should this movie be remade into a film like the first one?
Why ? The strenght of the movie in precisely its difference with Alien. Cameron understood that it was useless to copy Alien, which was great as it is, and he had to go a totaly different way. You like it or not, but Cameron did the right thing.
Luke & the Droids edition
Episode 4 is out, what did everyone think?
>I SHOULDVE KNOWN THE YOUNGLINGS WHERE PLOTTING TO TAKE OVER
what did he mean by this?
>You underestimate my power!
This is the most underrated line in the movie. It was unintentionally the most characteristic line for Anakin to say. After pledging himself to Sheev, he does no formal training for the dark side and merely kills a bunch of children and bankers. As brash as he is, he claims Obi Wan underestimates him, when in reality he has become no more powerful by simply stating that he has turned to the dark side. And this is why he loses the fight.
